From the tone of his voice and the expression on his face, it's obvious he's enjoying this moment. He says, "Honey, I've got a surprise for you. I know we've been married for 20 years, but I want a divorce."The wife says nothing, but slowly increases the speed to 70 mph.He then says, "I don't want you to try to talk me out of it because I don't love you any more."Again the wife stays quiet, but speeds up as her rage increases."I want the house," he insists, pressing his luck. The wife speeds up to 80 mph.He says, "I want the car, too," but she just drives faster and faster.By now she's up to 90 mph."All right," the man says, "I want the bank accounts, and all the creditcards, too."The wife slowly starts to veer toward a bridge. This makes him a bit nervous, so he says, "Isn't there anything you want?" The wife says, "No, I've got everything I need.""Oh, really," he says, "So what have you got?"Seconds before they slam into the bridge at a speed of 100 mph, the wife smiles and says, "The airbag."Some people think single parents can never remarry happily, but I disagree. They have to learn the art of blending. A happy remarriage is possible with preparation, patience and prayer. Here are some tips for you.Firstly, slow down. Do not rush your children into trying to like someone.A person you're dating should not even be introduced to your children unless you are sure he or she can get along well with your kids. Your children won't understand the concept of "we're just friends", so they will see every date as a potential replacement for mom or dad.Secondly, you should seek advice. Talk to your close friends or a psychiatrist. After listening to their advice, you may see some new light and act in a more sensible way.Thirdly, you should expect difficulties. Understand that your children have the dream of reuniting their original family. They must be sad about their losses. Surprisingly, older children need even more time to overcome their sadness than younger children. Just as it takes time to heal, it also takes time to build and rebuild relationships. Although you'd expect that most readjustments would need to be made by the stepparent, the biological parent has adjustments of his or her own, including issues of authority within the new household as well as communication with the other parent. Finally, proceed with caution. Although it is not impossible to have a happy and satisfying stepfamily, you should know that there will be some difficult days ahead. Don't impose friendship on the kids who are not yet ready toaccept it.。

Family life 2.0(修改版)

Taste the sweets and bitters of family life052144 组长:于旭升组员:任瑞罗疆刘帅高杰No.1 Family typesFirst I will give you a brief talk about the types of families. Usually, there are four types of families: extended family, nuclear family, single-parent family and DINK family. When several generations live together, such as the picture, we call it extended family. A nuclear family is a family unit consists of father, mother, and unmarried children. Maybe lots of us belong to this family type. Children who live only with their father or mother called Single-parent family. In this family, maybe parents are divorced or one of them came to grief in an accident. The last is DINK family, the couple lives normally but not intending to have a child, which appears with the change of ideas.No.2 The sweets of the familyFor many people, home is not just at where their house is, but where their families are, because they taste too many sweets from their families.First, we can feel the happiness by accompanying family members. On the one hand, children brings a different sense of responsibility for the parents. When you are five years old, you are the favorite pet your parents like. When you are eleven years old, you are the naughty boy your parents love. When you are eighteen years old, you are the hope of your parents. When you are an adult, you are the whole what your parents' have. As long as you are here, no matter what kinds of troubles your parents suffered, they will still feel happy because you are the reason they are so struggling. On the other hand, for children, parents’ love takes one of the most important part of the love they received in their life. When you were born, parents gave you life, they are your everything. When you were five years old, parents are the idol and example in your heart. When you were eighteen years old, parents are your solid backing. When you are adult, parents are the only people who miss you constantly. Anyway, parents are absolutely the people who are real willing to do everything for you. They are the most important relatives. Moreover, family members can give each other companion and supports no matter what happens, which makes the family the most reliable refuge. We taste sweets by sharing joys and sorrows, going through thick and thin together.No.3 BittersReal life is composed of sweets and bitters. We have known lots of sweets, let me show you some bitters now. There are two main types of bitters.First is the proper bitters. As far as we are concerned, not all of bitters are harmful. Even sometimes, getting a few quarrels might be an effective way to make us understand each other better, which called proper bitters. In this way, parents can get some real thoughts of kids they didn't know before. Equally, it's also necessary for couples to squabble. There is no denying that everyone has different minds and it's impossible to agree to others views without hesitation. There should be some proper bitters helping them to reach an agreement. In contrast, the second bitter, the barriers between family members is more terrible. As living tempo quickens, there is always lacking of communication among family members. On this occasion, when a couple hold the different views may choose argument instead of communication, so do parents and children when dealing generation gap. Big arguments, estrangement, domestic violence, even divorce all come from incomprehension, the most harmful bitters of family. Thus, this type of bitter must be removed.No.4 Ways to makes more sweets in our familyHome may be where the heart is, but it's even more important that your family's hearts are happy. Regardless of the challenges each family member may face, you will all be family for the rest of your lives, so you might as well put effort into making your family relationships as sweet as possible.Keep the lines of communication open between all family members. If you have an argument, learn how to resolve it and bounce back from it. Every family goes through its ups and downs, but happy families are empowered with the resiliency to face life's challenges and stay strong together.Relax and have fun together. Having time to spend as a family just relaxing, talking or eating is bonding time. It's important to spend lots of time together. Children and adults need this to form closer and stronger relationships with each other.Lean on each other and support each other through every challenging experience. When you need support or advice, it's important to turn to your family. Everyone needs people in their lives who care for them and are there for them no matter what happened.Though sometimes bitters in family are inevitable, we should believe that there always be a way to solve these problems. After all, we all want our family happy and comfortable. We hope everybody enjoys the happiness of the family. Best wishes for you! Thanks for listening!。

The Flavors of LifeLife is like a grand banquet, filled with a myriad of flavors. As we navigate the stage of the world, we taste the sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy of existence, feeling the hundreds of expressions of human life. The flavors of life begin with the taste of home. The scent of home is warm, filled with the aroma of mother's cooking and the warmth of father's care. Whenever I return home, I am greeted by the familiar scent of familiar dishes, a testament to my mother's love and the essence of home. This taste reminds me of the warmth and happiness of being home.Life also has the flavor of friendship. Friendship tastes sweet, filled with understanding and companionship. We grow together, weather storms, and share joys and sorrows. The encouragement and support of friends are like sweet candies, giving us infinite strength. Moreover, life has the taste of dreams. Dreams are bitter, but they are also the most worthwhile to pursue. To realize our dreams, we must endure hard work and the pain of failure. But it is this bitterness that makes us cherish the sweetness of success even more. When dreams come true, the joy and sense of achievement are inexpressible.Life also offers the taste of love. The flavor of love is complex, encompassing family, friendship, and romantic love. Love teaches us tolerance and understanding, making us stronger and braver. Nurtured by love, we continue to grow and become better versions of ourselves. The flavors of life are diverse and deserve to be savored slowly. Whether it is the taste of home, the sweetness of friendship, the bitterness of dreams, or the complexity of love, they are all integral parts of our journey. Let us cherish these flavors and feel the beauty and emotion they bring to our lives.
