2.1 Fundamental State根本情况
通过Section A的学习，学生已经能积极交流环境污染问题及环境保护的局部措施。

从思想上，学生已经意识到环保的重要性，环境保护刻不容缓。

在本课时的学习中，1a-1b列举出局部环保的详细措施，让学生从自身出发，把措施进展排序，哪些措施比拟容易施行，哪些比拟难施行，鼓励学生积极考虑并付诸行动。

通过Section A的学习，学生掌握理解决空气污染、浪费污染的局部措施，接触到了非常丰富的语言内容，在2d中围绕空气污染和垃圾污染问题，学习了几项环保措施。

Before Ss open their book, T can elicit Ss to list the world’s problem, like endangered animals, pollution, desert and natural disasters. According to this, elicit the topic: What can we do to help save the earth?
It’s easy to turn off the shower while you are washing your hair.
/ It’s difficult not to use paper napkins.

T may tell Ss all the items can help save the earth. Some of them are easy, while some of them are difficult. Ask them to rank them from the easiest to the most difficult.
Guide Ss to share their opinions with their partners. What are easy? What are hard? Do their partners feel the same?

Ask Ss to look through the statements in order to know what Julia and Jack may talk about.
