教学目标
1.做练习,复习单词以及句子。

2.做听力练习,训练听力巩固对本课内容的掌握情况。

3.会唱Let’s sing的歌曲。

教学重点和难点
1.教学重点:掌握本单元表示方位、物品的单词以及询问位置的句子。

2.教学难点:复习本单元知识,做听力练习。

教学准备
单词卡片、课件。

教学过程
1.热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)
(1)师生边读边做B部分Let’s do的内容。

(2)表演秀
学生分小组展示Let’s talk和Let’s play的对话内容,注意语音语调,也可以运用所学单词、句子创编新对话。

教师对表演优秀的小组奖励贴画。

2.新课展示(Presentation)
(1)What’s missing?
教师快速呈现图片或者玩具实物,学生以最快的速度说出玩具的名称。

教师在黑板上呈现本单元所学的词汇,随机隐藏其中的一个单词,然后问学生:What’s missing?学生以抢答的形式说出被隐藏的单词。

说得最快的学生赢得贴画。

(2)Read and tick or cross.
①教师请学生认真看图片,说一说图中物品所在的位置。

②学生读一读本页的句子,并根据图片判断句子的正误。

然后仔细观察图片,找一找Zip 在哪里。

③教师核对答案,并带领学生朗读句子,也可以请读得好的学生当小老师教读。

(3)Listen and tick or cross.
①教师引导学生观察听力训练中的四幅图片,说一说它们分别是什么,在哪里,对听力内容进行听前预测。

②教师播放听力,学生完成练习。

③教师再次播放听力,进行讲解并核对答案。

对比较简单的听力内容可以请学生进行复述。

(4)Look and tick.
①教师请学生看图,说一说图中的物品。

②学生根据图中内容独立完成练习。

③教师核对答案。

3.趣味操练(Practice)
Let’s sing
①教师领学生读一读歌词,播放歌曲,让学生感受歌曲的旋律。

②这首歌歌词大意比较简单,教师请学生分小组讨论学习歌词。

③学生跟着录音学唱歌曲,可以分小组进行比赛,也可以用学过的单词对歌词进行改编。

教师请几个小组进行展示,对展示好的小组奖励贴画。

4.评价小结(AssessmentandSummary)
数一数哪个小组的贴画最多,评出“优胜小组”。

5.家庭作业(Homework)
(1)读课本第71页第四单元的单词和课本第74页第四单元的句子。

(2)把所学歌曲唱给家长听。

(3)完成本书Unit 4 B(3)的练习。

Step 1: Warm—up & Revision
1.Greetings.
2.Chant together. (课件出示:教材P6 Listen, repeat and chant的音频)
3.Revision.
Students pass the ball, then ask and answer one by one.
T:What’s your name? Where are you from?
S1:I'm… I'm from… What's your name? Where are you from?
S2: I’m… I’m from… What’s your name? Where are you from?

T: Well, you are very good! Before the class,I’ll divide you into two groups. Group “He” and Group “She". Team “She”, you kn ow?(Point to different girls。

) She is a girl。

She is a girl。

She is a girl,too. And how about “He”? (Lead students to point to the boys.)
Write down the topic on the blackboard.
Step 2: Presentation
1。

Learn the word “student”.
The teacher takes out the headwear of Amy, then points and asks, “Do you remember our new friend? Who is she?"
Ss: Yes。

She is Amy。

教师通过Amy头饰引入今天的话题人物,并引出新授词“student”,通过教师带读、学生跟读、个人朗读、小组读以及男女分组读等多种形式操练单词,加深学生对“student”的理解,便于他们掌握。
T: Where is Amy from?

T: We know, Amy is a new friend. She is also a new student。

(Take out the word card。

Let students read one by one, group to group, boys VS girls。

2.Look and think.
Show the picture of “Let’s talk”. (出示课件) Let students look at the picture carefully。

Ask some questions to lead them to predict the main idea of the dialogue.
Show the questions on the PPT。

3.Watch and answer。

(1)Let students watch the video of “Let's talk”, then answer the questions。

(课件出示:教材P7 Let’s talk的视频)
T: Who is the boy?
Ss: He is Wu Yifan.
T: Who is the girl?
Ss: She is Amy.
T: What are they talking about?
Ss: The new student。

T: Great! (The teacher points to different students。

) Look! This is… She’s a student. This is… He’s a student, too。

Lead students to introduce their deskmates。

(2) Student w atch the video again and circle the sentences “Where are you from?” and “I’m from the UK" in their books. The teacher teaches the sentences and lets students use the sentence structures “—Where are you from? —I’m from…” to ask and answer in a chain.

Read the dialogue.
(1) Let students read the dialogue after the recording and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation。

(2) Let students read the dialogue after the teacher。

(3)T: Who wants to be a little teacher?

5.Show time。

1.Share a video.
Students watch a video about representative animals from China,Canada, the USA and Australia. (课件出示:关于大熊猫、海狸、秃鹰和袋鼠的一段视频)

Guessing game.
Ask one student to act like one of the representative animals, and the others guess where he/she is from。

Ss: Where are you from?
S1:(Act like a panda.)

Role-play.
Students wear the headwears, then role—play. Ask and answer one by one.
