我的最后一个周末英语作文(用过去式) My Last Weekend
Last weekend was really fun and exciting! It started on Friday after school. I got home, dropped my backpack, and ran straight outside to play. The weather was beautiful - sunny and warm with just a light breeze. Perfect for climbing trees and jumping on the trampoline in my backyard.
After about an hour of playing outside, I went back inside for a snack. My mom had left some apple slices and peanut butter out for me on the kitchen counter. As I was eating, she came home from work.
"How was school today?" she asked, giving me a hug.
"It was okay," I replied. "We had a spelling test and I got 19 out of 20 words right!"
"That's wonderful!" my mom said with a big smile. "I'm so proud of you for studying hard."
Mom asked me if I had any homework for the weekend. Luckily, I had finished all my work at school that day. That meant the whole weekend was free for fun!
On Friday night, we ordered pizza for dinner from my favorite local place. We got a large pie with pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. My dad let me drink root beer with my pizza, which was a special treat. After dinner, we all cuddled up on the couch to watch a movie together as a family. We picked an animated film about a robot who wanted to become a real boy. Even though I'd seen it before, it was still really good and made me laugh a lot.
I slept in until 9am on Saturday morning, which was heavenly after getting up so early for school all week. When I finally made my way downstairs, I found my parents had already made me a plate of pancakes drizzled with syrup. They were still warm and utterly delicious.
My mom asked what I wanted to do that day. Without hesitating, I decided I wanted to go to the park. She agreed, but said we had to clean up the house a little first. So I straightened up my bedroom while my dad vacuumed the living room and kitchen.
Once the house was neat, we all piled into the car and drove to Wilson Park. It had a huge playground with swings, seesaws, monkey bars, and the tallest slides I'd ever seen. I must have gone down those slides a hundred times! My parents just sat on
a bench and watched, letting me run around and burn off all my energy.
For lunch, we had a picnic at the park. My mom had packed sandwiches, carrot sticks, apple slices, and even some chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We ate on a blanket in the shade of a big oak tree. It was so relaxing and peaceful.
After we finished eating, my dad suggested we go for a short hike on one of the nature trails at the park. He knew how much I loved looking for interesting rocks, feathers, or other treasures on the ground. The trail wound through a little forest and along a creek. At one point, we stopped on a wooden bridge over the water and spent a while watching tadpoles swim around.
On the drive home, I was yawning and could barely keep my eyes open. All that fresh air and running around had really tuckered me out. As soon as we got back, I crashed on the couch for a nap that lasted almost two hours!
I woke up re-energized and spent the rest of the afternoon playing in the backyard again. This time, my dad joined me kicking around a soccer ball for a while. We took turns trying to kick it as hard as we could and see who could kick it the farthest.
For dinner, my mom made her famous spaghetti and meatballs. She knows it's my absolute favorite meal. I slurped up those noodles so quickly!
Before bed, we all curled up on the couch again to watch another movie. This one was a classic about a baby dinosaur who traveled through time to the modern world. I'd seen it a million times, but it always made me happy.
On Sunday morning, my parents let me have chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. They were rich and delicious! I savored every bite.
After breakfast, I remembered that I was supposed to make a Mother's Day card for my mom that day. Mother's Day was still a few weeks away, but I wanted to get it done early. My dad helped me gather up paper, crayons, stickers, and other art supplies to make the perfect card. I worked really hard on it, designing the front cover with bright colors and writing a special message inside for my mom. I was proud of how it turned out and couldn't wait to give it to her.
In the afternoon, we all went mini golfing at a place downtown. My parents tried to take it easy on me, but I ended up getting a hole-in-one on the third hole! I was so excited that I
did a little victory dance right there on the course. It was hilarious!
After mini golf, we stopped for ice cream at a little shop downtown with an old-fashioned soda fountain inside. I got a triple-scoop ice cream sundae with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. It had whipped cream, sprinkles, cherries, and a drizzle of syrup on top. It looked almost too pretty to eat! But I dove in with my spoon anyway and devoured that delicious cold, creamy treat.
On the ride home, I was sad that the weekend was coming to an end. I had had such an amazing few days, filled with fun, food, and family time. School was starting again the next day, and that meant homework, rushing around in the mornings, and a whole lot less freedom.
But as I looked back on my last weekend, I felt so grateful for all the special little moments and memories we had made together as a family. It had been the perfect way to relax and recharge before another busy school week. I knew there were so many more fun weekends to come in the future.
As I snuggled into bed that night, I thought about how lucky I was. Not just for the fantastic weekend, but for having such a loving, supportive family. I couldn't wait to wake up the next
morning and give my mom the card I made her to say thanks for everything she did. With a contented smile on my face, I drifted off to sleep, dreaming about all the adventures awaiting me.。
