【教材分析】
The grammatical item of this unit mainly focuses on the past future tense. Rewriting sentences and making sentences with the past future tense will help students use it correctly in real situations.
The vocabulary learning is about words and phrases about first aid. Collecting related expressions, filling in blanks and offering first aid advice can help students to build up vocabulary related to first aid. Students will develop their listening ability by listening to the interview about the speakers’ road trip. through comprehensive training of skills. Students are expected to improve the ability of comprehensive language use in real context.
【教学目标】
1. Guide students to grasp the structure and usage of the past future tense and correctly use it according to the real context.
2. Guide students to build up their vocabulary about first aid and learn how to practice first aid.
3. Lead students to train their listening ability. While listening and taking notes, students are expected to understand the main idea of the listening material and get more details.
4. Lead students to describe their experiences about making amazing trips and share them with the class.
【教学重难点】
1. Guide students to review the past future tense and correctly use it in the real context.
2. Lead students to talk about their travel experiences and share them with the class.
3. Guide students to develop their listening ability by taking notes quickly so that they can understanding the main idea as well as more details from listening.

Step 1 Review the present continuous passive
Guide students to view and summarize the rules for the use of the past future tense.
1. Review the definition and the structure of the past future tense.
2. Students read the example sentences, paying attention to the bold part.
3. Compare the simple future tense with the past future tense and skillfully

Step 3 Vocabulary
1. Look at the items in the first aid kit and talk about their functions.
3. Read the passage about first guidelines and fill in the blanks with the expressions
Step 4 Before listening
1. Read “Did You Know?” to learn about “heavenly road” ‒ China’s National Highway 318.
2. Learn about developing a listening skill ‒ using symbols and abbreviations to take notes while listening to the conversation.
Step 5 Listening
1. Listen to the interview and learn about the topic.
2. Choose the best expression describing the speakers’ experiences.
Step 6 Post-listening
1. Have students talk about how the speakers describe their experiences.
2. Have students think about a trip he or she has taken and share the experience with the class.
Step 7 Language appreciation
1. Once the wound is cleaned and dry, cover it with a bandage.
