Fifty-two endangered sea turtles were brought back to good health and returned
to the wild earlier this month. Teams of researchers drove the turtles all the way from Massachusetts to Florida, where they were put back into the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The turtles’ story began last autumn, when a large number of them got trapped near Cape Cod in Massachusetts. These hurtful turtles had to be nursed back to good health for about six months before they could swim in the sea again.
When the waters of the northern Atlantic turn cold in the fall, many turtles can’t stand the cold. They can not move and become unable to find their way. The turtles can drift(漂流)only where the wind and tides take them. Last year, 242 turtles were rescued there. Scientists are unsure why so many needed to be helped. The turtles spent the winter getting better at aquariums along the east coast.
As the weather grew warmer, 52 turtles were ready to return to their natural habitat. It was a great success for the turtles and the people who nursed them back to health.
“It’s an exciting day for all these organizations,” said Connie Merigo of the New England Aquarium.”This is what we work for. These are endangered species. So every turtle that gets back out in the wild and has a potential to contribute to the population is really important.”
28. How do the sea turtles come to the northern Atlantic?
A. They are carried there by a strong wind and tides.
B. Some researchers attract them there to do a study.

People added i t to other foods because it tasted good.

35 In many cultures, people trusted garlic to protect them from all kinds of bad luck. Garlic is great, but it can’t do t hat!

Dear Mike,
I'm sorry you are having a problem with your weight and being laughed at by your classmates.
Don't feel bad because of your weight problem. In my heart, health is more important than look. Only with good health can we enjoy life to the fullest. If you want to lose weight and keep healthy at the same time, I have some suggestions for you.
Firstly, having a balanced diet will give you enough energy during the day. It's of great benefit to your health. And going on a diet blindly is harmful to your health. Secondly, regular exercise is a good way to keep healthy and slim. Make a plan and determine to carry it out every day, you'll find you lose weight gradually. Finally, ignore those who laugh at you. Make friends with someone who really cares about you.。
