iDEN（integrated Digital Enhanced Network）是一个共用频 率，作指挥、调度用的专用数字集群通信系统。它采用时分 多址（TDMA）技术、VSELP（Vector Sum Excited Linear Prediction）矢量和激励的线性预测编码技术和抗干扰能力 强的M－16QAM（Quadrature Amplitude dulation）正交振幅 调制技术，并采用了和GSM 系统相同的双工通话结构以及特 殊的频率复用方式，使系统具有低功率、大容量、广域覆盖 的特性。

一. iDEN 的历史
iDEN Integrated Digital Enhanced Networks 增强型数字网络。iDEN 系 统于1994年在美国洛杉矶问世，是由摩托罗拉公司提出的一种数字集群 制式，工作于800MHz 频段范围，它的主要特点是可以和GSM 兼容，适 合组大网。
