Step 1：Class opening
Listen to the tape and tell the teacher what happened.
Today is Lynn’s birthday , she does not want to go to school .So she pretends she is sick .Lynn ’s mother takes her to a doctor .
Step 2： Read the textbook
Read the Story.
The teacher asks questions, then let students answer them.
Questions:
Where does Lynn hurt?
Can Lynn go to school?
Does Lynn ’ s arm really hurt?
Does Lynn ’ s leg really hurt?
Read the textbook and then tell me what happened.
The last sentence the doctor said“hmm”means that she was thinking.
Step 3： Some words added
You should know that “ache”means pain. The organs of the body add an “ache”means that part hurts.
So when your tooth is hurt, you can say that you have a toothache.
