教学目标：
1 知识目标：正确运用if 引导的条件状语从句
2 能力目标：能用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设，用will谈论结果。

3 情感目标：本课时围绕party展开话题，贴近学生生活，符合他们热爱休闲的心理，可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣，积极参与英语实践活动。

教学策略和方法：
通过pairwork和groupwork，鼓励学生对if引出的结果进行推测。

Teaching Procedures：
Step 1 Warming up and Leading in
1. Enjoy an English song : If you are happy
2. Ask some questions.
If you are happy, what will you do?
If I am happy, I will smile.
If you become sad, what will you do?
If I become sad, I will cry...

Step 2. Presentation
1．Show some pictures to present new structure:Ask several students:
What will you do if you see a wallet on the floor?
If I see a wallet on the floor, I will give it to my teacher.
What will you do if you have much money ?
Practice with the students .

2．Show some situations to the students , discuss in pairs :what will happen? Then ask some students about the consequences.

Step 6 Groupwork
Write a story in groups . The first person begins the story with the words “ I think I
am going to ...” the other people in the group add sentences with the word “if”. Pass the paper around the circle. Then a group member stand up and read the story to the whole class at last.
