汉语无主句是汉语言中常见的一种典型句型和独 特的语言现象，是指在直接成分中无主语的句子。汉 语中使用无主句可表达委婉、祈使及省略。英语中通 常不能省略主语，但可使用被动态进行委婉表达，熟 练掌握汉语无主句对于现场口译顺利进行有很重要的 意义。准确口译汉语无主句时应依照无主句的内容和 形式，选用合适的翻译方法。比如，“除非信用证另 有特殊规定，才可以分批装运。”是无行为主体的无 主句，此处可充分发挥英语被动语态的优势，巧妙地 将其译成“Partial shipments are not allowed, unless the credit specially states otherwise.”可见，在视译的 第一步阅读时迅速还原无主句的行为主体十分关键。
