DESCRIPTION
Carrier's 50BZN OMNIZONE™units are remote air-cooled indoor packaged cooling units for use with 09AZ or 09BY remote condensers.Units are designed for use primarily in constant volume applications.Units are factory wired,piped and ready for installation.Units are designed for vertical or horizontal air dis-charge with front or alternate rear air return.Units are designed for either ducted supply or free discharge with either ducted or open return.50BZN units require an air-cooled condenser for a complete system and are shipped with a nitrogen holding charge.These fully painted vertical package units offer economical air con-ditioning for restaurants,cinemas,factories,warehouses,retail shops and spot cooling applications.
FEATURES
Standard one-year product warranty.
Four-year extended protection plan for the compressor.
Internal side access filters for 1-in.or 2-in.disposable type filters.
Three-phase TEFC evaporator fan motor uses the same voltage as unit with internal thermal protection.
Built-in 24-volt control system,with unit mounted fan switch and condenser fan control connection.
Adjustable belt drive centrifugal forward curve fans,statically and dynamically balanced.
One (size 006&008)or two (size 012&014)independent circuits with Carrier scroll compressor on vibration mounts in acoustically lined compressor compartment.
Two-stage capacity control sizes 012and 014.
Cycle-LOC™and 5-minute Time Guard protection on each circuit.High and low pressure switches on each circuit.Replaceable filter drier in each circuit.Adjustable thermal expansion valves.
Sloped condensate pan and double wall construction in evaporator section for indoor air quality.
Units have service valves for easy connection to field piping.Dual drain connections for condensate pan overflow protection.Single point electrical connections.
Units are factory shipped with vertical air discharge and easily converted to horizontal front supply (except 014).
Return air is through the front of the unit or rear return connection,rear return filters filter up to 30%ventilation air.Return may be open or ducted.
High impact polystyrene return air grilles for front return.
All units are UL and UL,Canada listed and rated and listed to ARI 210.All service may be done through the front of the unit.
Baked enamel painted cabinet will meet 500hr salt spray requirements.Coils are aluminum plate fin mechanically bonded to copper tubes.Unit is manufactured in ISO 9001:2000facility.
