Unite4 Where is my schoolbag?
Teaching aims:
1.本节课主要要求学生们掌握单词where,table ,chair ,bed ,bookcase,sofa,on,in,under等新
单词。

2.通过出示图片,图文结合,大量重复练习,结合自己的卧室物品,学会询问物品的位
置和确认物品的位置。

3. 并培养其爱整洁的习惯和帮助他人的优良品德。

Teaching difficult and important:
1.学习有关物品的新单词,及表示位置的介词in.on.under.
2.学习句型Where is/are ...?来询问物品的位置,用It is / They are in/on/under+地点来描
述物品的具体位置。

Audiotape ,pictures,
Teaching procedures:
Step1: Lead in
T:Good morning ,boys and girls.
S:Good morning, teacher.
T:We have learnd many school things ,like schoolbag ,book,dictionary,pencilbox and so on.But do you know how to describe their place?Today let’s learn Unite4 Where is my schoolbag?
The teacher shows the title.
二.Presention
T:Now let’s look at the screen.today we’ll learn some new words.OK I’ll call some students spell. S1,:table S2:bed S3:bookcase S4:sofa S5:chair S6:schoolbag S7:books S8:keys.
T: You are great .but you should read /’teibl/ not /tebl/. Please read after me these new words .
三.Listening
T: Listen and number the things in the picture.
The teacher plays the tape.The students listen carefully.
Call students say the answers.The teacher encourages students “You are excellent”.
Now let’s practise.
四.Practise.
1.T: I have some pictures. Teacher in ,on ,under.
S:Students say their meanings .(They look at the pictures ,they can guess the meaning.)
Let the students fill in the blanks .
2.Let the students ask and answer.
S1:where is...?
S2: It’s in/on/under...
S4:....
Let more students practise.(show the pictures) The teacher praise them “Dont’be afraid.,Don’t be shy.” You are the best.”
五.Summary:
S:Who can say how to use “where is...and where are...?
Many students hand up.they said :“where is +单数名词?”It is +介词短语。

Where are +复数名词?They are +介词短语。

GOOD, VERY GOOD.
T:OK, let’s fill in the blanks.(show the ppt)
S:Five students finish the blanks. The students read the sentences together. The teacher praises the students “Good job”.Now let’s look at our homework. 六.Homework:
1.Review the new words and sentence patterns.
2.Try to write a short passage about your own room.
