As is vividly depicted in the cartoon, the man asks his daughter about her school life, with an expectation of chatting with her. However, much to his disappointment, his daughter replies: “You can read all about it on my blog.”
Simple and funny as the cartoon is, it clearly reflects the impact of the Internet on interpersonal communication. On the one hand, internet makes it convenient for people to communicate, especially those that live far from each other. It is internet that facilitates communication among distant people. On the other hand, the internet has reduced personal interaction. Many people, like the daughter in the picture, are much more comfortable with spending too much time on the internet rather than cutting that time in half by actually interacting with individuals.
In conclusion, it’s an undeniable fact that internet is the fastest and the most convenient means to communicate today. However, I believe that we should not ignore the importance of face-to-face communication with our friends and families while enjoying the convenience of communicating online.

PART IV TRANSLATION
China, the homeland of tea, is the first country to grow, produce and drink tea. Tea drinking began during the Shang Dynasty in China, when it was used for medicinal purposes. It wasn’t until the Tang Dynasty that it became a popular drink and was
spread to other countries. For thousands of years, the enthusiasm of the Chinese people in tea drinking has remained unchanged. This is probably due to the fact that tea is a healthy drink. T ea plays an important role in people’s lives. Serving a cup of tea to the guest is a common practice in China, which is a way of showing respect to visitors.。
