Wonders of the World。

The world is full of wonders, both natural and man-made. Some of these wonders are so amazing that they have become famous all over the world. These wonders are called the Seven Wonders of the World. They were chosen by the ancient Greeks and Romans as the most impressive structures of
their time.
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and only remaining wonder of the ancient world. It was built over
4,500 years ago and is still standing today. The pyramid is made of over 2 million stone blocks and is over 146 meters tall. It was built as a tomb for the pharaoh Khufu.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were said to be a beautiful oasis in the middle of a desert. They were built by King Nebuchadnezzar II for his wife, who missed the gardens of her homeland. The gardens were said to have been
filled with exotic plants and flowers, and were watered by a complex system of channels and pumps.
The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was one of the largest and most impressive temples of the ancient world. It was dedicated to the goddess Artemis and was built over a period of 120 years. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times, but was finally destroyed for good by the invading Goths in 262 AD.
