2010上海秋季高考英语作文范文(5篇)

2010上海秋季高考英语作文范文(5篇)

2010高考阅卷(作文)范文1Grasping the knowledge of those youngsters with naïve faces raising their hands high and expecting to inform their teachers of their novel answers from the picture, I could not help envying them, since our childhood was considerably different from theirs.Once we entered the primary school, we were instructed by teachers to keep both our hands on our backs and were forbidden to talk or move hands freely when they were speaking, which led to our uneasiness in class and deprived us of similar smiles on the picture. The divergence, I believe, should be attributed to the different educational system and concept between China and western countries. While they are encouraged to give full play to their creativity and curiosity, not willing to learn and instilled with a large amount of knowledge in order to obtain the admission letters from established universities and companies. Thus we are cultivated into identical “top-students” instead of creative individuals. Therefore, I eventually conclude that the next generation of our nation should be granted with more freedom to fully tap their potential and become all-round people.范文2As we all can see, the lovely students in the picture are so active that they all put their hands high, hoping to express their own opinions. It is obvious that the atmosphere is relaxing and everyone enjoys it. That’s great, isn’t it?The picture also reminds me of the time when I was a fresh student who was too shy to speak in public. Just like me, during my class, our classmates just listened to class, and everyone was watching me! I even prayed that my name would never come to my teacher’s mind. But as time goes by, I grow up, so as my mind. I realized that the situation show in the picture was far better. Children are all curious about everything, and knowledge will only be acquired by an inquiring mind. Those who dare not to speak out will never know anything new. The childhood without asking is not a real childhood. We should also keep the curiosity now, and forever. That will benefit you in the rest of your life.范文3From the picture, it can be easily seen that four primary students are raising their hands to answer the questions. So happy and excited are they that I see their eagerness for knowledge, which is powerful in all our life. Therefore, unlimited as knowledge is, we should keep our enthusiasm to learn. When it comes to my first day in my primary school, I felt curious about everything. When my teacher asked questions, all of us raised our hands including some to answer them …wonderful moments in my life because although we were little kids, we carried our passion for learning new knowledge, which is beautiful and mysterious in our hearts. We were just like the children in the picture, active and creative. It was at that time that knowledge appealed to me.Just as Bacon wrote in 1597, knowledge is power. I reckon that all of us should keep out enthusiasm to explore in the known and unknown worlds. Time-consuming and painstaking as it might be, nothing can stop a willing and curious heart. Only by living knowledge can we strive to learn. And only by gaining more knowledge can we become powerful, thus achieving our success and living out our values! There is no one but can resist the charm of knowledge, just like these students. Having an active heart and persevering in learning, the day we succeed will surely come!范文4When I first saw the picture, I was deeply moved. In the picture, foreign pupils are having a lesson. Although they have just entered the elementary school, they are quite outgoing and energetic. They all raise their hands and want to take an active part in the lesson. The smile wearing on their faces indicates the confidence in their heart. I am moved by their enthusiastic attitude towards study, school life and even future. However, it reminds me of my personal experience when I was at their age. Since I was a Chinese pupil, I as well as others was required to obey the strict rules of school. We sat quietly or even silently in the classroom and listened to the teacher’s words. There were not many live discussions and the “teacher talking, students listening” was the most common pattern.I am shocked by such astonishing differences between Chinese education and foreign education. However, I gradually realize that the key factor leading to the difference lies in the culture background. Both of them have their advantages and shortcomings. Students like me who belong to Chinese classroom can learn to develop a sense of obeying rules which is essential for us to be good citizens. However less involvement in class may make students less creative. On the other hand, those pupils in the picture enjoy a relatively more open atmosphere and they can express and learn freely and actively. But their sense of obeying rules becomes weak. So, in my opinion, as both coins have two sides, the two kinds of education can learn from each other to come up with a better one. And this can be beneficial to both the development of students and the communication between cultures.范文5Holding their hands up, smiling confidently to the teacher and being eager to answer the question, nowadays the new primary students seem to consider a class as an excited adventure.Their shinning eyes are like sweet blossoms which remind me of my golden days in the primary school. Compared with their active attitude, I was always so shy that I tried my best to hide my ideas. Praying not to be chosen to answer the question, worrying about the likely embarrassment, I filled my class time with anxiety. However, with time gone without trace or sound, I gradually realize what precious treasures I have lost. I gave up my confidence which was able to lead me to the paradise of success; I missed valuable experience which could lit the ragged road to the future; I also rejected my right to make mistakes as well as to be corrected. As the saying goes, what we must conquer are not rocky mountains but ourselves. Mistakes are not our opponents, instead they equip us with courage, wisdom and lessons. Do not be afraid to face difficulties, bear it in mind that they train us for the better and that only with the belief in ourselves can we embrace the beauty of life!Thank you, my dear angels. You bring confidence, smiles and positive attitudes towards life back to me. I hope that you can keep smiling to whatever you may face in the future. I hope that I can hold my hand up like you the next time!。

2010英语高考英语作文

2010英语高考英语作文In the era of rapid technological advancement, the landscape of education has been transformed in ways that were once unimaginable. As a result, the 2010 English high school examination prompts us to reflect on the profound impact of technology on modern education.Firstly, the integration of technology in classrooms has made learning more interactive and engaging. Students are no longer passive recipients of information; instead, they actively participate in the learning process through interactive whiteboards, educational apps, and online discussions. This shift has not only made learning more enjoyable but also more effective, as students can immediately apply what they learn and receive feedback.Secondly, the advent of online resources has democratized access to education. Students from all over the world can now access a wealth of knowledge through the internet, including online courses, e-books, and academic journals. This has leveled the playing field for students who may not have access to quality education in their local communities. Moreover, technology has facilitated personalized learning. With the help of adaptive learning software, teachers can tailor the educational experience to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. This approach has the potential to significantly improve educational outcomes,as it allows for a more focused and efficient learning process. However, the integration of technology also presents challenges. One of the most significant is the digital divide, where disparities in access to technology can exacerbate existing educational inequalities. Additionally, there is a concern that an over-reliance on technology may lead to a decline in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as students may become too dependent on digital aids.In conclusion, while technology has undoubtedlyrevolutionized modern education, it is crucial to approachits integration thoughtfully. Educators must strive toharness the benefits of technology while also addressing its potential pitfalls. By doing so, we can ensure thattechnology serves as a tool to enhance learning and not as a substitute for the critical thinking and human interactionthat are at the heart of education.。

2010年全国一卷英语作文高考My Name is Tommy and I'm in 5th GradeHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm a 10-year-old boy in the 5th grade. I love going to school and learning new things every day. Today, I want to tell you all about my life as a student and what a typical day is like for me.Every morning, my mom wakes me up at 7 o'clock sharp. I don't like getting up that early, but she says it's important to start the day on time. After getting dressed and having breakfast, my dad drives me to school. The ride takes about 15 minutes, and I always look out the window at the buildings and trees passing by.When I get to school, I meet up with my best friends, Jack and Emily, in the playground. We like to play tag or just chat about our favorite TV shows and video games. The bell rings at 8:30, and we have to line up before going to our classroom. Our first class is usually math, which I find a bit tricky sometimes. But my teacher, Mrs. Wilson, is really nice and patient. She makes sure we all understand before moving on to the next topic. After math, we have English class, where we read storiesand learn about grammar rules. I love reading and often get lost in the imaginary worlds created by the authors. At 11 o'clock, it's time for recess! Jack, Emily, and I rush out to the playground to play on the swings and slides. We also like to play kickball or just run around and burn off some energy. Recess is my favorite part of the day because I get to take a break from sitting at my desk and just have fun with my friends. After recess, we have science class, where we learn about plants, animals, and the world around us. Sometimes, we even get to do cool experiments! Last week, we made volcanoes out of baking soda and vinegar, and they erupted just like real ones. It was so awesome!Lunchtime is at 12:30, and I always look forward to it because my mom packs the best sandwiches and snacks. We get to eat in the cafeteria with our friends, and sometimes we trade food items with each other. After lunch, we have a short break where we can play outside or read in the library. In the afternoon, we have social studies and art classes. Social studies is where we learn about history, geography, and different cultures. It's really interesting to learn about how people lived in the past and the different customs and traditionsaround the world. In art class, we get to be creative and make all sorts of things, like paintings, sculptures, and even pottery. The school day ends at 3:15, and my dad picks me up. On the way home, I tell him all about what I learned and the fun things I did with my friends. When I get home, I have a snack and then start on my homework. I try to get it all done before dinner so I can have the rest of the evening to play outside or watch TV.Bedtime is at 9 o'clock, and my mom tucks me in and reads me a story. I love listening to her soothing voice as she brings the characters to life. Sometimes, I fall asleep before the end of the story, but that's okay because I know there will be another adventure waiting for me tomorrow.Being a 5th grader is a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun. I get to learn new things every day, spend time with my friends, and just be a kid. I can't wait to see what the rest of the school year has in store for me!。

2010高考英语作文范文

2010高考英语作文范文

2010高考英语作文范文Chapter 1: IntroductionThe year 2010 marked an important milestone for high school students in China, as they faced one of the most crucial academic challenges of their lives - the National College Entrance Exam, also known as the Gaokao. This standardized test, consisting of various subjects such as Chinese, mathematics, and English, serves as the primary determinant for university admissions in China. In this essay, I will discuss the significance of the 2010 Gaokao and its impacts on students.Chapter 2: The Preparation ProcessThe preparation process for the Gaokao in 2010 was intense and demanding. Students were expected to study diligently for several months leading up to the exam, often sacrificing leisure time and extracurricular activities. Long hours were spent deciphering complex academic concepts, solving countless practice questions, and memorizing extensive amounts of information. Tutoring centers flourished, providing additional guidance and support to students who sought additional help. The immense pressure to succeed influenced students' daily routines, sleep patterns, and even their mental and physical well-being.Chapter 3: The Psychological TollThe psychological toll of the 2010 Gaokao was immense. Many students experienced heightened levels of stress, anxiety, and fear of failure. The pressure to obtain high scores weighed heavily ontheir shoulders, as their future prospects depended on their performance. The constant comparison to peers, societal expectations, and the fear of disappointing their families added to the psychological burden. Sleep deprivation, lack of relaxation, and a diminished social life further exacerbated the mental strain. Consequently, mental health issues such as depression and burnout became prevalent during this time.Chapter 4: The AftermathThe aftermath of the 2010 Gaokao was a mix of relief, disappointment, and uncertainty. As the exam ended, students emerged from their intensive study sessions, hopeful for a promising future. Some rejoiced in their success, having achieved the desired scores and securing university admissions. However, for those who fell short of their expectations, feelings of disappointment and frustration set in. The unpredictable nature of the Gaokao made it difficult to anticipate the outcome accurately. Consequently, students had to readjust their plans and explore alternative options, such as enrolling in vocational schools or accepting lower-ranked universities.Chapter 5: ConclusionIn conclusion, the 2010 Gaokao was a defining moment for high school students in China. The intense preparation, psychological toll, and uncertain aftermath all contributed to the significance of this exam. While it served as a gateway to higher education, it also placed immense pressure on students and had far-reaching effects on their mental health. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, the Gaokao remains an important part of the Chinese education system, a symbol of dedication, and an opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge and abilities.Chapter 6: Lessons LearnedThe 2010 Gaokao undoubtedly taught students valuable lessons that extended beyond the realm of academics. It instilled in them discipline, perseverance, and resilience. The rigorous preparation process required students to develop effective study habits, time management skills, and the ability to handle stress and pressure. These lessons have proven to be invaluable in their future endeavors, as they equipped students with the necessary tools to navigate through various challenges they may face in their personal and professional lives.Chapter 7: Educational DisparitiesThe 2010 Gaokao also shed light on existing educational disparities in China. Due to the competitive nature of the exam, students from financially stable families or those who had access to better educational resources often had an advantage over their less fortunate counterparts. This highlighted the need for educational reform and equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Efforts have been made to address this issue, such as implementing policies to improve access to education in rural areas and providing financial assistance to disadvantaged students.Chapter 8: The Changing LandscapeIn recent years, there have been significant changes in the Chinese education system that have impacted the Gaokao. The government has recognized the need for a more holistic approach to assessing students' abilities and potential. As a result, reforms have been implemented to reduce the emphasis on rote memorization and promote critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills. The Gaokao has also been modified to include subjects such as sports, arts, and vocational training, reflecting a broader understanding of success and the diverse talents of students.Chapter 9: International RecognitionThe 2010 Gaokao also brought international recognition to the Chinese education system. 2010年高三英语必备英语写作范文

2010年6篇典型开放作文1.What an interesting picture! A Western young man, sitting at a table, is ready to eat a bowl of noodles. He is holding two forks the same way as we Chinese hold chopsticks. He is trying so hard to pick up the noodles that he is sweating a lot. At first glance, I think it’s a bit funny, for we Chinese take for granted that chopsticks are the tools for eating noodles. The man in the picture is trying to copy us. Obviously he is doing it the hard way. Maybe using one fork will do a better job, In my opinion, we don’t need to copy others’ ways of thinking. Sometimes a simpler way of doing things may be a better way.2.We can see in the picture a little boy standing in front of a mirror. He’s letting his imagination fly. What he sees in the mirror is not his physical self but what he will be like in twenty years. Although he is small and short now, he believes he will grow up to be a tall and strong young man like Yao Ming, who he admires. I think this picture tries to tell us that we should always look into the future with hope and confidence.3.From the picture I can see a pair of proud compasses and a hard-working pencil. The compasses are big, drawing a circle with ease, while the pencil is small, drawing a line with great effort. I think the compasses are reasonable to be proud because no one else can do the job better. At the same time, however, he should realize the pencil has his own advantages. The pencil can do other shapes better than the compasses, even pictures. So in my opinion, while we are confident in ourselves, we should recognize strengths in others and show due respect for them.4.In the picture, there is a cup, which is usually presented to the winners in sports competitions. The cup is definitely a symbol of great success. But what makes me puzzled is that a magnifying glass is used to see its light scratch on the cup, which is not at all obvious. What I see in this picture reminds me of people who use a magnifying glass to see the faults in others. Those people are usually very demanding and picky. They only see the “scratches” instead of the whole cup. As we all know, everyone has both strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, we should be objective about others’ achievements rather than find fault s with them on purpose. Only in this way can harmony be achieved and conflicts be avoided.5.In this picture, a mother bird stays in her nest in a big tree watching her babies flying away. I think the mother bird must be very proud of her children, who are able to find their own food now. But she may also feel a sense of loss since they no longer need her day-to day care as they used to. This picture shows very well the mixed feelings of parents when watching their children grow up. For my parents, things will be much easier. We will set up a family blog to post our photos, journals, and even audios. Once I leave for college, we can conveniently share our experiences and support each other no matter where we are. Their “nest” will never be empty.6. As can be seen in the picture, a tree is broken by the strong wind, while the grass still stays as it is. Weak and small as the grass is, it can stand the strong wind.It is the same with human beings. Some peoplelook very strong, but they are easily defeated bydifficulties. Weak as some people may seem, theyare actually strong in mind, just like the grass inthe picture. This kind of people can adapt easily tochanging situations and achieve more. They areready to face challenges and never give up in timeof difficulty. So a p erson’s inner strength is muchmore powerful than physical strength.2010年8篇典型情景作文1.2010-东城一模During the winter vacation, the students in our community joined in the meaningful activity, in which all of us did our bit for our community.First we went to visit an old lady who lived all alone. While we were in her home, one of us chatted with her and the rest helped do a thorough cleaning. We swept the floor and dusted the table. When the work was done, the house looked really neat and tidy. Then we went to the sports center, where different sports facilities needed polishing. We set out to work at once. In no time everything was dust-free. To make the environment clean, we also picked up the litter on the grass and along the paths. As the Spring Festival was around the corner, we put up New Year decorations on the billboard and a poster with the characters Happy Chinese New Year on it.Having done all these, we saw a more pleasant community. Tired as we were, we felt happy as all of our work paid off.2.(2010-5 东城二模)March 22, 2010 MondayDear Tim,I’ve received your email, asking me about my plan for the summer vacation. I won’t miss seeing the great inventions and achievements on display and I can experience different cultures as well as exchange ideas with people around the world. Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?I hope you can come and see it for yourself.3. 2010西城1模After the College Entrance Examination , the three-year school life will come to an end. Before we left the classroom, we made sure the lights and the computer were switched off. In order to make full use of paper, we began to write on both sides. Besides, while shopping, we no longer used plastic bags but carried environment friendly ones.I think what we did on that day was meaningful, which can help us to form a good habit. We should also call on the people around us to do something for low-carbon living. Only in this way will the earth be a good place to live on.6.2010-4 海淀区一模试题Recently the student union conducted a survey on whether recyclingdustbins should be set in classrooms. As can be seen from the pie chart, different students hold different opinions on this program. Only a few students care little about it. Surprisingly, about one third of students are totally against the program. They don’t bother to change their old habits. However, over half the students are completely for the program, as it is not only beneficial to recycling of resources, but also it can help students develop their good habits of garbage classification. Besides, 12% of the students partly agree. They hold the opinion that educating people on how to classify the garbage goes first.Personally, I’m in favor of this program. I believe it’s important to raise people’s awareness of garbage classification, from which we will get considerable benefits for the future.7.Yesterday I paid a visit to a middle school, together with my friends. It’s very big with abeautiful fountain in the center of the schoolyard. We started our visit from the main building. First, we went to the lab building where some students were doing experiments. Then we entered the lecture hall behind the lab building and saw many students listening to a lecture given by a professor. Opposite to the lecture hall was the art center. There we watched groups of students playing musical instruments. Finally we arrived at the playground at the far back of the school. Some boys were having a football game, which was so exciting that we couldn’t help cheering for them.8.目前,家长开车接送孩子上下学已成为一个普遍现象,人们对此做法褒贬不一。

2010高考英语作文范文With the advent of the digital age, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, transforming the way we live, work, and learn. The field of education, in particular, has experienced a significant shift due to technological advancements. This essay will explore the impact of technology on education, focusing on both its advantages and challenges.Firstly, technology has made education more accessible to a broader audience. Online courses and educational platforms have broken down geographical barriers, allowing students from all corners of the globe to access high-quality educational content. This democratization of education has been particularly beneficial for individuals who may not have had the opportunity to attend traditional schools or universities.Secondly, the use of technology in the classroom has enhanced the learning experience. Interactive whiteboards, educational software, and multimedia presentations have made lessons more engaging and dynamic. Students can now visualize complex concepts, participate in virtual experiments, and collaborate on projects in ways that were not possible a few decades ago. However, technology also presents some challenges to the educational system. One of the main concerns is the digital divide, where unequal access to technology can exacerbateexisting educational inequalities. Students who lack access to the internet or do not have the necessary devices may find themselves at a disadvantage compared to their more technologically equipped peers.Additionally, the over-reliance on technology can sometimes detract from the learning process. For instance, the constant use of search engines can discourage students from developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as they may become accustomed to simply looking up answers rather than engaging with the material in a deeper way.In conclusion, technology has revolutionized education by making it more accessible and engaging. However, it iscrucial to address the digital divide and ensure that technology is used as a tool to enhance learning, rather than replace the essential skills of critical thinking and independent problem-solving. As we continue to integrate technology into education, it is important to strike a balance that maximizes its benefits while mitigating its potential drawbacks.请注意,这篇范文是一个示例,实际的高考英语作文题目和内容可能会有所不同。

2010年全国一卷英语作文高考

2010年全国一卷英语作文高考全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Certainly! Here is an essay written from the perspective of a primary school student, approximately 2,000 words long, about the 2010 English National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) Paper 1:My Big Exam DayWow, today was a really big day for me! I had to take the English National College Entrance Examination, which is also called the Gaokao. This is a super important test that all Chinese students have to take if they want to go to university. I'm still in primary school, but my teacher said it would be good practice for me to take the English exam this year. I was a little nervous, but also really excited! The exam was held at my neighborhood's high school. When I got there in the morning, there were so many students lined up outside the gates. I felt like a tiny little fish in a huge ocean! My mom walked me to the entrance and gave me a big hug. "Doyour best, little one," she said with a smile. "I'm so proud of you for working so hard."Once I was inside, I had to find the classroom where the English exam was being given. The hallways were crowded and busy, with students rushing every which way. I finally spotted a sign that said "English Exam, Room 201" and hurried that way. The room was absolutely gigantic, with row after row of desks perfectly lined up. I found my assigned seat and sat down, looking around at all the teenagers who looked about a million times bigger than me!The exam proctor, a very stern-looking woman, passed out the test papers. I gulped when I saw how thick the packet was. On the cover it said "2010 Gaokao English Examination, Paper 1."I flipped through the pages and saw reading comprehension passages, grammar exercises, vocabulary questions, and sections for writing essays. This was going to be really hard! When the proctor said "Begin," I took a deep breath and started working. The reading passages were pretty difficult, with lots of big vocabulary words I didn't know. I had to re-read the paragraphs a few times to try to understand the main ideas. For the grammar section, I struggled with identifying the parts of speech and applying the trickier grammar rules I'd learned. Bythe time I got to the vocabulary matching, my brain felt like a bucket of mush! But then I reached the writing section, and I perked right up. We had to write a short essay giving our opinion on an issue. The topic was "Should students be required to wear uniforms at school?" As soon as I read that, a huge smile spread across my face. Writing is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world! I grabbed my pencil eagerly and started brainstorming all my best ideas.I wrote about how I think school uniforms are a great policy because they help students focus on learning instead of worrying about fashion. I described my own adorable uniform - a crisp white blouse, a bright red jumper, and black shoes with ruffly socks. I explained how when I wear my uniform, I feel ready to tackle any academic challenge! In my essay, I used examples from my own life at school to support my points. I tried to make it as clear, engaging, and polished as I could. After the exam ended, I stretched my cramped hand and felt a huge sense of relief and accomplishment. Writing that essay had been the highlight, and I was really proud of my work. As I handed in my packet, I puffed out my chest feeling like a smart university student! I knew I still had many years of school ahead, but completing this big English exam gave me confidence that I could take on any challenge. On the walk home, I stopped to admire the cherry blossom trees lining the street. Their delicate pink petals danced through the air like ballerinas. In that moment, I felt joyful and grateful for the opportunity to learn. No matter what score I received on this practice exam, I knew my education was an incredible gift. I would keep working hard, using my skills and intelligence to grow into the best student and person I could be.What an exciting day! Even though the test was very difficult, I'm proud that I gave it my all. Maybe someday when I'm older, I'll take the real Gaokao English exam and earn a spot at a top university. But for now, I'm just happy to be me - a hard-working primary student who loves to learn, write, and take on new challenges with an open mind and heart. The future is full of possibilities!篇2My Big Day at the Gaokao English ExamWow, what a day it was! I'm just a little kid, but I got to take the big Gaokao English exam for the whole country. My momand dad were so proud of me. They said I was very brave and mature for my age. I felt like a grown-up university student! We had to wake up super early, even before the sun came up. My tummy was all twisted up with butterflies because I was so nervous. Dad made me a big breakfast though, with scrambled eggs, toast, and even some bacon! He said I needed lots of energy for the big test. The exam was held at the biggest school I've ever seen. I thought my elementary was huge, but this high school building looked like a castle! There were so many students there, teenagers way older than me, all looking very serious. I could tell the Gaokao was a really important thing.I got kind of scared when I walked into the exam room. It was absolutely giant, with tons of desks lined up in perfect rows. The ceiling went up forever and the windows were taller than a tree! I felt so tiny in that massive room. But I took a deep breath and found my assigned seat. The exam proctor looked very strict, like a drill sergeant from the army movies my brother watches. She had a tight bun in her hair and eyeglasses that made her eyes look huge. When she started giving instructions in that loud, booming voice, I jumped a little in my seat. I could tell she meant business! Finally, it was time for the test to start. My palms were getting all sweaty as I looked at that thick exam booklet. There were so many sections - listening, reading, writing. I was glad I had practiced a ton with my English tutor leading up to this day.The listening part was pretty tough. The voices on the recording spoke so fast, like an auctioneer rattling off bids. I had to concentrate extremely hard to catch all the details. Phew, I was relieved when that section ended!Next came the reading passages. I've always loved reading storybooks, but some of these passages were on really arcane topics, with all these big vocabulary words I'd never seen before. Who writes about deforestation policy and nuclear fusion for kids' reading material? I did my best, jotting down notes in the margins and underlining key phrases. Then we got to the writing section, my favorite part. The prompt was "What are your dreams and aspirations for the future?" Well, coming from a little kid, I had a lot to say! I wrote all about my dream jobs, like becoming a astronaut, professional athlete, and dinosaur hunter. I really let my imagination go wild on that essay. The teachers grading it are probably getting a good laugh! After what felt like an eternity, the exam was finally over. My hand was cramped up from gripping the pencil too tightly, and my brain felt like a wrung-out washcloth. I was physically and mentally exhausted! As I walked out those big double doors, I threw my arms up and cheered, not even caring that some of the older kids gave me weird looks. Hey, if they took an exam like that at my age, they'd be celebrating too! I earned a celebratory ice cream cone from Mom and Dad for sure.Overall, it was one of the craziest experiences of my short life so far. Sure, I'm just a goofy 8-year-old kid who still watches cartoons and collects Pokémon cards. But for one day, I got to take on a challenge like the big high school students, showing I have what it takes to battle through a super tough test. No matter how I scored, I felt so proud of myself for that accomplishment.Who knows, maybe this is just the first of many huge exams and challenges I'll face as I grow up. But thanks to my practice run at the Gaokao English test, I know I've got the skills, determination and mental toughness to take them on. The future is full of possibilities, just waiting for me to seize them! Bring it on, world!篇3My Awesome Life As A KidHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 9 years old. I'm in the 4th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. A lot of cool stuff has happened to me lately so I wanted to write it all down and tell you about my awesome life as a kid!First off, I'm really into sports, especially baseball and basketball. I play on a few different teams through our local recreational league. Baseball is probably my favorite - I'm a pretty good hitter and I play third base. Last season, I hit 5 home runs! That was the most on my team. We made it all the way to the championship game but lost by 2 runs. It was still an epic season though. In basketball, I'm one of the shorter guys on my team but I'm really fast. The coaches always tell me to pressure the ball on defense and try to make steals. I get a good number of steals each game from using my speed and quick hands. At the end of last season, I got an award for Most Defensive Player! When I'm not playing sports, I love hanging out with my friends from school. We have sleepovers all the time on the weekends and stay up way too late. We play video games, watchmovies, and eat tons of candy and junk food. My mom gets so mad because we make such a huge mess! But being a kid is awesome because you can get away with that kind of stuff.Another thing I really like is going on vacation with my family. A couple of months ago, we went to Disney World in Florida. That place is simply amazing! We went on all the rides, met Mickey Mouse and the other characters, and ate lots of delicious food. My favorite ride was probably Space Mountain - it's a total adrenaline rush! I also loved Splash Mountain and got completely drenched on that log ride drop. We spent a whole week there and I wished it could have lasted forever. In school, my favorite subjects are math and science. I'm really good at solving math problems and often get picked to go up to the board and work them out. Science is awesome too, especially when we get to do experiments. A few weeks ago, we did an experiment where we made little volcanos out of vinegar and baking soda. It was so cool to watch them erupt and ooze red lava! I think I might want to be a scientist when I grow up.Overall, I feel very lucky to be a kid with such a fun life. There's always something exciting happening – a big game, a sleepover, or going on a trip with my family. Sure, we have to go to school and my parents still have all those rules we have tofollow. But being a kid means you get to play hard, be energetic, use your imagination, and just enjoy life to the fullest. These really are the good old days that I'll look back on when I'm all grown up. For now though, I'm just gonna keep soaking up every awesome moment!篇4School Days are the Best DaysHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. School is really fun and I love going every day to learn new things and hang out with my friends. My favorite subject is definitely science. We get to do all sorts of cool experiments! Last week, we made little volcanos out of baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring. It was so awesome to watch them fizz up and "erupt" with the red lava color. Our teacher, Mr. Wilson, is really neat and always makes science super interesting.Another subject I enjoy is art class with Mrs. Garcia. She lets us use lots of different materials to create whatever we can imagine. A few weeks ago, I made this totally rad sculpture out of pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and glue. It's a crazy lookingmonster that I keep on my dresser at home. I also like drawing and painting a lot. I'm not the best artist, but Mrs. Garcia says practice makes perfect and that it's just important to have fun with it.Recess is probably my favorite part of the school day though.I love getting to run around outside and play games with my buddies. We'll play kickball, tag, or just goof around on the playground equipment. Sometimes we also bring out our favorite toys from home to share with each other. Jason always brings the coolest Hot Wheels cars. Last month, I brought my brand new baseball glove and a few of us played catch.I'm on the school's baseball team too which is a blast. I play right field and always try my best to catch any balls that come my way. Win or lose, it's just fun being part of a team and working together. Mr. Roberts is our coach and he's really nice. He makes sure we never get down on ourselves and just keeps encouraging us.The cafeteria food isn't All-Star, but it's not too bad either. The pizza is my favorite lunch. The tater tots and chicken nuggets aren't half bad as well. Of course, I'd way rather have Mom's homemade cooking, but I know they're doing their best to feed awhole bunch of hungry kids. Sometimes I'll buy a chocolate milk or a cookie from the snack line too for a little treat.Even though school can be challenging with all the homework, tests, and having to wake up early, I still absolutely love it. The teachers are outstanding and my classmates are like a second family to me. We'll definitely be friends forever. Some kids think school is boring, but not me! There's always something fun or interesting happening. Maybe it's because I'm just a kid and easily entertained. Or maybe grown-ups have just forgotten how truly awesome school can be. I mean, where else can you spend your days learning cool stuff, making arts and crafts, playing games, and hanging out with your best pals? Grown-up life seems boring to me in comparison!Anyway, those are my thoughts on why school days are the best days. Of course, summer vacations are pretty great too. Staying up late, sleeping in, no homework, going to the pool or beach, baseball all day every day? What could be better?! But even with those long months off, I'll be really eager to head back to school once August rolls around again. A new classroom, new teachers, maybe even new friends to make! The cycle will start all over and I can't wait.So in conclusion, school totally rocks. It's non-stop fun, learning, and excitement from morning to afternoon. Cherish these school days while you can becausethey篇5My Awesome FamilyHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School and I'm in 5th grade. For our big high school exam essay, my teacher asked us to write about our families. Well, I'm super excited to tell you all about my awesome family!First up, there's my mom and dad. My mom's name is Sarah and she's the most amazing cook ever! Every night she makes the yummiest dinners. My favorite is her spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are so big and juicy and the sauce is rich and tomatoey. Mmm, just thinking about it makes my mouth water! Mom also helps me a ton with my homework. She's a genius at math so she always knows how to explain things in a way I can understand. My dad's name is Michael and he's hilarious! He's always cracking jokes and doing silly voices to make me and my little sister Emily laugh. Dad is also super strong and athletic. He's taught me how to throw a perfect spiral with a football and taken me camping and hiking more times than I can count. We've seen deer, raccoons, eagles, you name it! Being outdoors with my dad is the best.Speaking of Emily, she's 7 years old and a total sweetheart - when she's not being a brat, that is! We fight like cats and dogs sometimes over stupid stuff like who gets to control the TV remote. But we're pretty much best friends. Emily and I have an awesome pillow fort setup in the basement where we'll camp out and play for hours. We make up crazy games and voices for our stuffed animals. It's a blast!I also have two fun sets of grandparents that I get to see a bunch. My mom's parents live right down the street so we're at their house like every weekend. Grandma Rose always has a fresh batch of cookies waiting and spoils me rotten. Grandpa Jim is retired but he spent his career as a mechanic. He's taught me so much about how cars work and lets me help out with oil changes and stuff. I love tinkering with tools and getting my hands dirty. My dad's parents live a few states away but we still get to visit them pretty often, especially in the summer when we go on these epic road trips. Grandma Lucy is originally from Italy and her cooking is out of this world! Grandpa Tony is the most energetic 75-year-old you'll ever meet. I can barely keep up with all his jokes and stunts but he always has me cracking up.Our house is pretty much a constant circus with my parents, sister, and all our pets running around. We have a dog named Buster who's a total goofball, two cats named Sadie and Oreo, and a fish tank full of cool tropical fish. The cats are always chasing the dog, who's always barking at his own reflection or peeing somewhere he shouldn't. It's madness but I love it!We also love going on adventures as a family. In the summer we go camping and hiking as much as possible. In the winter we'll go sledding and have huge snowball fights. We've been to Disneyland twice which was amazing! I loved all the rides, especially Space Mountain. But my favorite family activities are our monthly game nights. We order a bunch of pizza, pick out some crazy new board game, and get super competitive trying to win. There's tons of laughing and good-natured trash talking between us all. Mom usuallyends up being ruthless and dominating everyone. She's seriously cut-throat when it comes to games! All in all, I absolutely love my family. We might be a little nuts and loud, but we have so much fun together. We're always there for each other too. Like when I was stressed about that big math test, Mom and Dad stayed up late helping me study and gave me a ton of encouragement. Or when Emily fell off her bike and got a bloody knee, I dropped everything to make sure she was okay. No matter what's going on, I know my family has my back. They make me feel so loved and supported. I feel like the luckiest kid in the world!Well, I think that's pretty much it! I could honestly go on forever about how awesome my family is. We might fight and drive each other crazy sometimes, but that's all part of it. At the end of the day, they're my whole world and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Thanks for reading all about my wacky, wonderful, amazing family!篇6My Name is Lucy and I'm a Fourth GraderHi there! My name is Lucy and I'm a student in the fourth grade. I'm 10 years old and I go to Maple Tree Elementary School.I love going to school and learning new things every day!My Favorite SubjectsMy favorite subject in school is definitely reading. I love getting lost in the world of books and going on exciting adventures with the characters. I especially love fantasy stories about brave knights, magical wizards, and fire-breathing dragons. My favorite book series is "The Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S. Lewis. I've read all the books at least three times!Another subject I really enjoy is science. Learning about how the world works and doing fun experiments is so cool. Last week, we did an experiment where we made little volcanoes out of baking soda and vinegar. It was awesome watching the "lava" erupt! I also find outer space fascinating. I want to be an astronaut when I grow up so I can explore distant planets and galaxies. My Least Favorite SubjectMath is probably my least favorite subject. I find it really confusing and frustrating at times, especially when we're learning about fractions and decimals. My brain gets all jumbledup trying to keep track of the numbers. I always feel relieved when it's time for recess after a tough math lesson. My Best FriendMy very best friend in the whole world is a girl named Emily. We've known each other since kindergarten and we're totally inseparable. Emily and I have tons of fun together. We love playing make-believe games, putting on talent shows for our parents, and having sleepovers on the weekends.During sleepovers, we stay up way past our bedtimes telling silly jokes and spooky ghost stories. We also play truth or dare, and the dares are always super ridiculous like hopping around the room like a bunny or singing loudly about our favorite snacks. Emily always makes me laugh until my stomach hurts! My Hobbies and After-School ActivitiesWhen I'm not at school, I have a few different hobbies that I really enjoy. One of my favorite things to do is draw and color. I love working with crayons, markers, colored pencils – you name it! I especially like drawing pictures of animals, both real ones and made-up creatures from my imagination.I also take dance classes twice a week after school. I've been dancing since I was five years old, and I practice all differentstyles like ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. My dance recitals are my favorite time of the year because I get to wear a pretty costume and perform on a big stage in front of all my family and friends.Additionally, I'm a Brownie Girl Scout, which means I go to meetings every other week and do fun activities with my troop. We've learned how to change a tire, build fires, pitch tents, and loads of other cool skills. My favorite part is selling delicious cookies door-to-door each year!My Summer PlansSchool will be over in just a couple more weeks, and I'm really excited for summer vacation! My family rented a beach house down in Florida, and we'll be spending two wonderful weeks there building sandcastles, boogie boarding in the ocean, and doing tons of other fun beach activities.I'm especially thrilled because my cousins from California are going to meet us at the beach house for a few days. I only get to see them once a year, so we always have a blast catching up and making new memories together. We're planning a huge beach Olympics competition with events like sandcastle building, running races, and who can collect the most unique seashells. After our beach trip, I'll be going to sleep-away camp for two weeks with Emily and some other friends from school. We're going to learn survival skills, go hiking and canoeing, make arts and crafts, and sing campfire songs at night. I've never been away from home without my parents before, so I'm a little nervous but mostly super excited! It's going to be an incredible summer.Well, that's a little bit about my life as a fourth grade student. Being a kid is the best – I get to learn, play, explore, and spend time with my favorite people. I'm already counting down the days until I'm in fifth grade!。

2010高考英语作文范文In today's fast-paced world, the issue of environmental protection has become a paramount concern for all of us. The earth we live on is facing numerous challenges, from deforestation to climate change, and it is our responsibility to address these issues before it's too late.First and foremost, deforestation is a critical problem that needs immediate attention. Trees are the lungs of our planet, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. By cutting down trees at an alarming rate, we are not only losing our natural resources but also contributing to the greenhouse effect, which leads to global warming.Secondly, pollution is another significant threat to our environment. Industrial waste, vehicle emissions, and improper waste disposal are polluting our air, water, and soil. This pollution is not only harmful to human health but also to wildlife and the ecosystem as a whole. To combat these environmental challenges, we must take proactive steps. Governments should enforce strict laws to regulate industrial emissions and promote the use of renewable energy sources. Schools and communities should educate people about the importance of recycling and conserving resources. Moreover, individuals can also contribute by adopting eco-friendly practices. Simple actions such as reducing, reusing, and recycling can make a significant difference. Additionally, planting trees and supporting environmental organizations can help in the preservation of our environment. In conclusion, environmental protection is not just a responsibility but a duty for every citizen of the world.
