1. I have a lot of homework.我有许多家庭作业。

[用法归纳]
homework 不可数名词，意为“家庭作业”。

不能说an homework, 也不能说homeworks,可以说a piece of homework，或some homework等。

其它还有：housework 家务活farmwork 农活。

典例1
He wanted to do ________ after school.

D. some homeworks
解析：C homework为不可数名词，不能加—s,也不能用冠词，故可知C项正确，题意：放学后他想做家庭作业。

2. All the teachers make us study very，very hard. 所有的老师让我们非常非常努力地学习. [用法归纳]
make sb. do 使得（让）某人做某事，后面加的是省“to”的不定式做宾补。

例如：
The boss made these girls work ten hours a day. 老板让这些女孩每天工作10个小时.
典例2
Our teacher often makes us _____ much exercise in class.

解析：B make 当“使、让”讲时，后面加的是省“to”的不定式做宾补，故选B。

句意：上课时我们的老师经常让我们做大量的练习。

3. Everyone laughed, except the teacher. 除了老师大家都笑了。

except prep 除……之外例如：
We all went to the cinema except Li Lei . 除了李磊我们都去看电影了。

[妙辨异词]
Except; besides 与but
except prep 除……之外不包括后者。

We went to the cinema except Li Lei . 除了李磊，我们都去看电影了。

“besides”，除……外，还有…它包括后者
They all finished their homework besides Jim. 除了Jim完成了作业，他们都完成了。

but也可以做介词，意为“除了……”，常和否定词连用。

There is nothing but a card in the box. 盒子里除了一张卡片什么也没有。

There is nobody but a teacher in the room. 房间除了一个老师没有人。

根据汉语提示完成句子
They all finished their homework _____Jim. 除了吉姆他们都完成作业。

解析：except 通过汉语意思，不包括后者，所以填except。

[用法归纳]
see sb. do，看见某人干某事。

see 是感观动词，后面加省略“to”的不定式做宾补。

例如：

另外这类动词后面还可以加doing 做宾补，常表示动作正在进行。

例如：
I watched them playing football when I came. 我来时看见他们正在踢球。

解析4：B 该题考察了see动词的用法。

see 是感观动词，后面加省略“to”的不定式做宾补。

故选B。

[用法归纳]
