1“so。

that。

”和“such。

that。

”的意思都是“如此……以致……”，that引导的是结果状语从句。

我们用来强调某人或某事物的品质或特征，并且展示其结果。

由于so是副词，such是形容词，所以so修饰的核心词应该是形容词或副词，such修饰的核心词应该是名词或名词短语。

因此我们可以根据被修饰成分的词性把这两个句型区分开来。

如：
The weather is so hot that I don’t want to go out.
天如此热，以至于我不想出去。

This is such a good book that all of us like it very much.
这是一本很好的书，我们人人都很喜爱。

当that前的名词有many。

much。

little (少)。

few等透露表现数目几何的词润饰时,只能用so,不成用such.

当that前的名词是单数可数名词且该名词前有adj.润饰时,能够交换。

however的用法区分
XXX的意思是“尽管，虽然”，用来引导让步状语从句，在一般情况下互换，但though比较口语化，而although较为正式，另外although的语气比though重。

当although / though 引导的从句放在句首时，主从句之间要用逗号隔开。

Although I gave him some advice。

Although it’s raining。

they are still working in the field.虽然在下雨，但他们仍在地里干活。

▲注意：although和though都不能和but在一个句子里连用。

注意：however是转折副词，在句子中的位置比较活跃，可以放句首，也可以放句中。
