I am proud of my school because it is beautiful and we have many interesting school activities. My school is very big with several tall buildings. We have a big playground, and there are lots of trees and flowers everywhere.

Many students are very interested in school activities. They have their reasons. Firstly, they think that learning from textbooks is not their only task.
They believe that they should take every chance to get more practical knowledge. Secondly, they think that after long hours of study, they can relax themselves by taking part in school activities.
However, a large group of students have little interest in them and spend most of their time on studies. First, they believe that they should make full use of time to study. Second, they feel that school activities have little to do with their further
development.
In my opinion, we should take an active part in school activities. On one hand, we can learn a great deal from other students we meet in activities.
Besides, the modern society demands that students have many good qualities, so only learning from textbooks is not enough.
5. A happy memory in my Junior High School
a.As we will graduate from Junior High School, the happiest memory I
will never forget is the experience of a class meeting. We had the group meeting to discuss the performance. We wrote the articles on it and practiced a lot of
times. With the help of our class teacher and the hard
work day and night, we did so well in the performance.
From that I knew, “No pains, no gains. ” It’s the happiest memory in my Junior High School.
6. My TV-turnoff week
a.It’s common for teenagers to like watching TV. As a member of them, so
do I.
I would like to have a TV-turnoff week because I want to rest my eyes and
concentrate on studying. During the TV-turnoff week, I will put my heart into studying. I will enjoy myself by doing some indoor activities such as doing a puzzle. There are two reasons for why I am going to do these things. First, I need to relax myself. As technology develops, we are forced to live in a world of fast pace. So why not get away from technology and relax myself? Second, l’m a student of Grade Nine. I have to study hard in

7. My friendship with Mary
Mary, a 15-year-old girl, is my best friend. She is tall with big bright eyes.
When we talk about something, she always looks at me, smiling.
Two years ago, I came to this school. Everything was strange to me on my first day at school. I felt very lonely. Just then, Mary came to me. She invited me to play games with her. And we went home together after school. Mary was so kind and helpful that we became good friends soon. With her help, I made great progress in English. Now, I can even communicate with foreigners!
It was Mary who gave me the greatest help and made my school life so wonderful.

8. School rules
There are many rules in our school. For example, we must wear school uniforms every day and we must get to school on time. We mustn’t ride bikes in school. We mustn’t eat in the classroom. We mustn’t use mobile phones in class.
I agree to some of them. For instance, we should be in school on time and not
use mobile phones in class. It’s our duty to obey such rules. But I don’t agree that we have to wear school uniforms all the time. I think our uniforms are ugly and young people want to look smart. We want to wear our own clothes to school，because we feel comfortable in our own clothes. I would like the school leaders to ask for our advice when they -make school rules.。
