英语晚会作文

Last Friday evening, our school held an English evening party in the auditorium. All the students in our class were excited about the event and eagerly looked forward to it.
The party started at 7:00 PM and was hosted by our English teacher, Mr. Smith, and the lovely Mary from our class. The atmosphere was lively and joyful, with colorful lights and beautiful decorations adorning the stage.
There were various performances during the party, including songs, dances, and skits. Some students sang English songs with beautiful voices, while others danced gracefully. The most impressive performance was a short play about Snow White, which was performed by six students. They acted out the story vividly and humorously, making the audience laugh and applaud.
I also took part in the party by reciting an English poem titled The Road Not Taken. I was
a bit nervous at first, but as I recited the poem, I became more confident and enjoyed the process. The audience listened attentively, and I received warm applause after my performance.
The English evening party was a great success and provided us with an opportunity to practice our English skills and showcase our talents. It was a memorable night that I will cherish forever.。
