Unit1 It’s the Spring Festival.教学设计【教材分析】本节课为EEC教材小学课本四年级下册第一单元“It’s the Spring Festival”的第一课时。

EEC教材以素质教育为根本指导思想,所选课文内容贴近生活,真实实用。

本课的设计意图着重让学生掌握节日的单词“Spring Festival,New Year’s day”以及与节日有关的单词如“dumpling ,delicious,lantern,wonderful”在此基础上还能询问这些是什么“What are these?”询问对方在某个节日做什么“ What do you do at …?”以及餐桌用语“Help yourself.”【学情分析】本节课的教学对象是四年级的学生. 他们从三年级起学习英语,已经积累了一定的英语信息,具备了一定的词汇量,具备一定的听说能力,到了四年级我开始有意识地渗透读、写技能,让孩子口头描述事物的同时,学会以补充句子的形式写简单的小作文和对话。

【教学目标】1知识目标:本课主要语言知识目标是能听懂、会说、会用节日单词及询问对方在某个节日做什么。

2能力目标:提高听、说、读、写四个方面的技能及综合运用能力。

本课主要让学生运用所学英语知识询问是不是某人的生日,“Is it your birthday?”能熟练地运用餐桌用语“Help yourself.”进行交流。

【学情分析】本节课的教学对象是四年级的学生. 他们从一年级起学习英语,长期同意全英语信息的大量输入,积存了一定的词汇量,具备一定的听说能力,到了四年级我开始有意识地渗透读、写技能,让小孩口头描述事物的同时,学会以补充句子的形式写简单的小作文。

本课要紧让学生运用所学英语知识能够表达自己喜爱的季节及询问别人喜爱的季节,能熟练地运用上述的日常用语进行交流。

一、教学目标

会读各个节日并会描述每个节日的活动。

能够询问别人最喜欢的节日是什么并会回答。

了解中外节日文化及其区别。

通过跟读、对话和角色扮演等,掌握本课词汇和句型。

通过小组活动,做调查活动,培养学生乐于助人、团结、友善的精神。

通过对传统节日的认识,培养学生民族意识。

使学生进一步了解中外节日文化及其区别,激发学生爱国热情。

通过一系列的教学活动,激发学习英语的兴趣,增加了学生用英语表达的自信。

通过本单元的学习,加深了学生对中外传统节日的了解,了解中外节日的习俗以及差异。

二、教学重点及难点
1. 重点:描述春节的情景。

掌握有关春节的词汇并熟练地运用于描述春节的一些风俗。

2. 难点:掌握与春节有关的词汇。

理解及运用词汇。

三、教学准备
红包、花炮、春联、福字等实物或单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等。

四、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
1. 师生问候。

2. 自由对话。

T: What’s the date today?
Ss: …
T: (出示春联) What’s this?
Ss: 春联.
T: When do you put this on your door?
Ss: We often put them on the door before “c hunjie”
T: Spring Festival is “chunjie”. Today we’ll learn something about the Spring Festival.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. T: The Spring Festival is an important festival in China. It is the same as Christmas in America. Do you like the Spring Festival?
Ss: Yes.
T: But why? Who can tell me some customs during the Spring Festival? What do you do during the Spring Festival?
鼓励学生大胆表达。

T: You are very clever. But do you know how to say these in English? 通过实物或单词卡片呈现新单词和短语。

用同样的方式介绍中国的春节、元宵节、端午节、中秋节以及西方的圣诞节、感恩节和万圣节等节日。

2. 让学生快速阅读课文部分,了解文章大意。

T: Different people have different ways to celebrate the Spring Festival. Now please read the text to find out how those people celebrates the Spring Festival.
T: The night on December 24th is called the Christmas Eve, then how do we call 年三十?
帮助学生回答:Eve of Spring Festival,然后出示单词卡片Eve of Spring Festival鼓励学生自由联想并大胆说出与春节除夕有关的一切事物,用中英文说出均可,培养学生的发散性思维。

想象力丰富且知识面广的学生可获奖励。

Step 3 Practice
1.两人一组,练习课文部分对话。

2. 游戏——Super little hero (超级小英雄)
将学生分成两大组进行比赛。

首先各组派出代表回答必答题;然后进行抢答。

抢到的问题可以自己回答也可以把问题留给对方回答。

答对了加分,答错减分。

积分多的为超级小英雄。

所问问题可以是有关东方节日的也可以是有关西方节日的。

3. 学生互相交换搜集的关于节日的资料,并将有趣的信息讲述给大家听。

培养学生的研究性学习的能力。

Step 4 Consolidation
1. 两人一组根据关键词复述课文。

选几位同学分别表演调皮学生和老师,表演课文A部分。

要求表演夸张,幽默,不出声。

另选一位学生为他们的表演配音。

2. 创设情景,自由会话。

情景:过年。

(让学生自由讨论自己家过年的情形。


3.猜谜游戏:根据我给的信息猜出我最喜欢的节日:我最喜欢的节日在12月份。

在冬天。

我喜欢这个节日是因为在这个节我们可以拿礼物。

接着,问一个学生以下几个问题:你最喜欢的节日是什么?你所喜欢的节日在几月份?在哪个季节?为什么你喜欢它?并把问题写在黑板上。

引导该学生回答我的问题并把他的答案也写在黑板上。

4.老师带全班同学读黑板上的句子。

然后分小组读、同桌互相读。

5.幻灯片呈现很多节日,让学生自己选择并让同桌用黑板上的句型进行对话。

家庭作业
1.新单词抄写3遍。

2.用新学的句型造句。

3.告诉父母今天学了哪些新的内容。
