摘要：PURPOSE:To perform the numerical operation including units by preliminarily determining unit symbols as operation results of units symbols correspondingly to arithmetic expressions and classifications of unit symbols and selecting the unit symbol of the operation result corresponding to an arithmetic expression. CONSTITUTION:When a user inputs an arithmetic expression from a keyboard input device 23, a CPU 20 temporarily stores this arithmetic expression in a RAM 22. When conforming that a unit symbol is included in the arithmetic expression in the RAM 22, the CPU 20 analyzes this unit. With respect to multiplication or division, the CPU discriminates whether the combination of input unit symbols is entered in a conversion table 21-1 or not to confirm whether the unit calculation is possible or not. With respect to addition or subtraction, the CPU 20 discriminates whether input unit symbols are equal to each other or not to confirm whether the unit calculation is possible or not. Thereafter, the operation result of the unit symbol is obtained with control procedures in the figure by the CPU 20 and is stored in the RAM 22. The operation of numerical values in the RAM 22 is executed in accordance with the arithmetic expression by the CPU 20.
