女王电影观后感英文

女王电影观后感英文As a movie enthusiast, I recently had the opportunity to watch "The Queen", a critically acclaimed British drama film. Directed by Stephen Frears, the movie chronicles the events following the death of Princess Diana and the subsequent response of Queen Elizabeth II. The film left a profound impact on me, evoking a range of emotions and offering a thought-provoking portrayal of the complexities of the British monarchy. One aspect that stood out to me was the exceptional performance of Helen Mirren, who portrays Queen Elizabeth II. Her portrayal was incredibly nuanced and convincing, capturing the essence of the Queen's composed and reserved nature. Mirren's portrayal skillfully depicted the internal struggles faced by the Queen as she grapples with personal grief while steadfastly upholding her public image. Her performance was truly mesmerizing, commanding attention and allowing viewers to glimpse into the Queen's private world. The film effectively highlights the tension between the Queen's duty to the monarchy and the shifting public sentiment towards the British royal family. Following Diana's tragic death, the public demanded a more public display of grief from the Queen, placing her in a difficult position. The film explores the conflict between the Queen's private emotions and the expectations imposed on her as the head of the royal family. The dynamic between the Queen and Tony Blair, who was the British Prime Minister at the time, also forms a significant part of the narrative. Michael Sheen's portrayal of Blair is compelling, capturing both his sincere empathy for the Queen and his desire to modernize the monarchy and meetthe changing expectations of the public. The interactions between the Queen and Blair provide an insightful glimpse into the complexities of the relationship between the monarchy and the government."The Queen" skillfully addresses the question of the relevance of monarchy in modern society. As the events unfold, the film prompts viewers to consider the role of the monarchy, the boundaries of privacy for public figures, and the delicate balance between tradition and modernity. The film offers a glimpse into the inner workings of the monarchy, highlighting the struggles faced by the Queen as she navigates the challenges of her reign. In addition to the captivating performances, "The Queen" also shines in its cinematography and soundtrack. The cinematography beautifully captures the grandeur and opulence of the royal palaces, juxtaposed with the stark reality of the outside world. The soundtrack complements the emotional tone of the film, subtly enhancing the dramatic impact of each scene.Overall, "The Queen" is a poignant and thought-provoking film that delves into the private world of Queen Elizabeth II during a time of national crisis. The impressive performances, compelling narrative, and skillful direction make it a must-watch for both history enthusiasts and those interested in the human side of public figures. The film provides a deep understanding of the pressures faced by the Queen and presents a captivating exploration of the intersection between personal grief and public duty. "The Queen" is a powerful film that lingers in the minds of viewers long after the credits roll.。

The Queen电影英文感想

The Queen电影英文感想

The QueenThe Queen is an excellent movie and deserves a look. The film told something that happened in a special time of Britain. There had contradiction between the UK royal family and British. And a new prime minister tried his best to resolve this contradiction.Through the film, I learn more things about Britain.1 Princess Diana is people`s princess. She is very beautiful and outstanding. She loves common people and has no perspective on class. People love her because she is such different in the UK royal family. So I think the UK royal family must take action to close to common people. Also only like this, the royal family would get respected.2 Prime minister - Tony Blair is a good and clever prime. He is familiar with British history and British system. He knows the royal family is an indispensible existence in Britain. He bridges people and the queen, and gives the most important suggestion to the queen. That is why he is a beloved prime.3 I think Prince Charles is a double dealer. He plays politics clumsily. He was like an idiot in government affairs.4 I know why people respect the Queen Elizabeth Ⅱ. She is a perfect and great queen. She has given her whole life in serving to her people. She holds that duty-first, self-second. For example, when she knows she wasn`t supported, she is very grieved and has sense of alienation. So she changes herself to obey people`s will.5 The royal families also have annoyance. They have their own feelings, just like common people. To maintain their reputation, they have to lose their feelings. In some way, I think they are very poor.6 I must say that the paparazzi are all over the world. They are disgusting! In the end, I want to copy 2 classic dialogues in the film. I love them.1 That woman has given her whole life in service to her people. Fifth years doing a job SHE never wanted! A job she watched kill her father. She`s executed it with honor dignity, and, as far as I can tell without a single bearish, and now we`re all baying for her blood! All because she`s struggling to lead the world in mourning for someone who… who threw everything she offered back in her face. And who, for the last few years, seemed committed to destroying everything she holds most dear!2 Nowadays, people want glamour and tears, the grand performance, I`m not very good at that, I never have been. I prefer to keep my feelings to myself and foolishly, I believed that was what people wanted from their Queen, not to make a fuss, nor wear one`s heart on one`s sleeve.。

It is a truth universally acknowledged that the power of love is huge. It can help one conquer sorrow, hatred and other negative thoughts and create gorgeous wonders during his life. Moreover, in the long process of history, there is a love that can even change the destiny of a country. Whose love is so powerful? It is Elizabeth`s——the Virgin Queen of England. During her forty-five years` ruling, she devoted all herself to England and never married anyone else except England. It was just because of her unmarried life that started the formation of “the sun never sets”. But what caused her to choose to be a lonely woman all the lifetime? What enabled her to changethe destiny of England? And from her unusual choice, what can we learn?Adversities reshaped the character.Elizabeth had had a miserable childhood and undergone great difficulties before she finally got the throne. On the one hand, the tragedy made by her father became a lingering shadow in her love world. Her mother, Anne, was sentenced to death due to the fabricated extramarital love affair when she was less than three years old. Besides, among her other five mothers, one divorced, two of them were beheaded, and the other two died of difficult delivery. On the other hand, her destiny turned around the marriage of her father. At one time, she was both her father`s favorite and the successor to the thorne and then, she was ignored to be a deserted bastard after her mother had been executed. All of these, to some extent, threw light on her that there was no dependable man at all and she must be self-reliant.What`s more, she had even been locked and imprisoned in the London Tower for the reason of the accusation of treason by her half-sister Mary for two months. During this helpless and hopeless period, she became to realize that her tenacious and independent will would ensure that she could overcome anydifficulties, no matter how desperate they were. Besides, nothing else would be more important than the throne. When she was in the tower, she helplessly shook her head and murmured to herself, but with no despair; she was so frightened and fragile, even did not know anything to do, but she did not give up.In all, the affliction suffered in Elizabeth’s experience had greatly contributed to the reshape of her character. How dependent and tenacious she was!The decision to put the interests of people and country in the first place set the foundation.Apart from her great spirits of independence and tenacity, Elizabeth`s sense of identity and responsibility drove her to abandon her personal love as well.In fact, Elizabeth often received offers of marriage. Of these, she made the closet relationship with her childhood friend Robert Dudley. At first, she was still filled with romance and dreams, like other common women. When she was put into the London Tower, she felt so frightened and helpless that she could do nothing except continually trembling there. There was only one person, her Robert Dudley, could give her a little warmth. What`s more, he was so handsome and charming. Thus, there was no reason for her not to fall in love with him. She spent every minute with him and considered him as the source of her strength and courage, heartily hoping this could last for good. However, just when Elizabeth immersed herself in her heaven of love, a series of bad news came. The failure of the important battle with Spanish and the conflicts between Protestants and Catholics which were increasing and escalating day by day, vanishing her dreams into the air. The situation became so critical that her people were in an abyss of suffering and her country was on the verge of breaking down. If she persisted in her personal love affair, she would not only lose her own life, but her throne, her country as well. As the last direct heir of the Tudor dynasty, how could she take the blame for being subjugated? From then on, she began to have a clearly knowledge of the unchangeable fact that as the queen of England, she did not belong to herself but to her people and her country. She must take the responsibility to save her people and safeguard her country as well. For the sake of those, she had no other choice but to put a higher value on her people and country and consider marriage out of duty rather than personal preference. In conclusion, she gave up her personal love for her beloved people and country. How great she was!Lessons learned from Mary guided the right direction. After Elizabeth had made up her mind to bury her own happiness and top the problems of how to maintain unification and strengthen England as the first priorities, the question became how to deal with the suitors` proposals. In the view of Parliament, it was vital that either she married and produced an heir or just designated a successor who could be legally ratified. Elizabeth, however, took a totally different view on this matter after she had drawn a lesson from Mary`s fortune. Just as a proverb says, lessons learned from the past can guide one in the future. In 1565, Mary married Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, which kicked off a series of wrong judgments. After the marriage, Mary handed the throne to her husband, who quickly became unpopular and infamous for presiding over the murder of Mary`s Italian secretary David Rizzio. In February, Darnley was murdered by conspirators. Shortly after his death, Mary married Earl of Bothwell, who was considered the leader of the conspirators, arousing suspicions that she had also masterminded Darnley`s death. At last, she had no alternativebut to hand the victory to Elizabeth. From this, Elizabeth learnt that being a queen was certainly different from being a king. In stark contrast with a king, who could still hold the throne even though he was incapable of ruling at all, a queen had to face the situation whether to hand the power over to her husband or pass the crown to her heir. As the case of Mary showed, marriage risked a loss of control and of foreign interference in political and religious affairs. Elizabeth clearly knew that whomever she married to, it meant sharing power and forming alliance with that country. In terms of the European situation, when countries had different religious believes and individual interests, avoiding the alliance with any country was the maximum interest of England. Because on one hand, if she was aligned with Spain to fight against France, it would easily make England be subordinate to Spain. On the other hand, if she married the French little prince who believed in Catholicism, it would inevitably for her to alienate her people who believed in Protestantism. What`s more, if she named an heir, her throne would be vulnerable to a coup. Taking those into consideration, she did not marry anyone. How intelligent and foresighted she was!Resourcefulness guaranteed the successElizabeth was such a tenacious, insightful queen. However, what I have all mentioned above were not enough to reflect her greatness. Indeed, what made her a rare and phenomenal woman was her strategy about the marriage. That is to say, she made marriage a chip to bargain with the suitors of any nation from which England needed help and support. After she had realized that it was not wise to marry any of the suitors, she started the plan to utilize marriage as her most useful diplomatic weapon. She did not refuse the proposals, because she knew the continuous proposals could prevent other nations from establishing the alliance. Instead, she always pretended to be glad to talk about her marriage. She also invited her suitors to the England Palace and did her utmost to attract them, making them feel it possible to win over her heart. In this way, she kept the balance among the big countries and won the national interests to a great degree. What`s more, as Elizabeth had expected, her suspending marriage successfully gave rise to the dissension between France and Spain, prompting them to fight with each other. As a result, England earned a precious and peaceful period to develop its own strength, especially in the military and the sea power. When Spanish armada invadedEngland about thirty years later, the strength of England was not the same as it had been. It defeated the Spanish armada and became the maritime overload. But for Elizabeth, the result would never happen.Once she decided to treat the marriage issue only as an aspect of foreign policy rather than her personal happiness, she had the sense and ability to set England as a great power in the world. How clever and resourceful she was!It is really hard to imagine a woman can be so independent and tenacious; it is really hard to imagine that a woman can bury her personal happiness and live the life without a lover; it is really hard to imagine that a woman can raise a country with her own hands. But Elizabeth achieved. There is no wonder that she was respectfully called the most brilliant rose of England. As the great Burghley exclaimed “in all graces, by nature, by calling, by long experience, she was of such perfection as none can attain unto”. What a steel rose she was!。

铁娘子伊丽莎白电影英文观后感(1)

铁娘子伊丽莎白电影英文观后感(1)

The movie “The Queen”mainly described the Queen Elizabeth’s behaviors and internal feelings in a week that the Princess Diana had passed away. And the film also talked about the process how she tried to live in harmony with the Prime Minster Blair gradually. The movie “The Iron Lady” is a kind of biography film, which refers to a form of writing traditional records in a series of biographies. So the film is obvious to talk about the total life of Mrs. Thatcher, especially about her political life. These two films have the same theme to portray females, and both of them demonstrate the special mental activities of women who were at the prime of their career and had the great rights. After I have known the main ideas of the films, I will analyze the details of the two films and compare their similarities and differences.Firstly, the first film told us that the Queen Elizabeth II accepted royal and sound education in her childhood. Her nobility position guaranteed that she must learn noble etiquettes and have good qualifications. The background of the era of her accession and the unstable global situation structured the characters of Elizabeth like superior and persistent. The Princess Diana was a normal citizen and didn’t have the predominant condition matched the Prince Charles. Those obvious gaps resulted that Elizabeth disagreed with the actions accessing to the citizens taken by the Princess Diana and looked down her low family background from the lower class. The Queen’s attitude towardsDiana implied the trouble in the next week of Diana’s death. While, Mrs. Thatcher was given birth to by a grocery boss, then her family background had been a standing joke. Even she became the member of the cabinet or became the Prime Minister, and she was discriminated by others. These factors lead to her personal features of persistent and stronghearted, which results in her alias “the iron lady”.Secondly, two female leaders had the similar condition of family problems. Elizabeth didn’t have good relationship with her son Prince Charles. Charles always thought her mother was so concessive and had bias for Diana, thus he strived to get access to the Prime Minister Blair so that the queen will got pressure from Blair and changed. Mrs. Thatcher had a husband loved her so much, and a lovely twin. But because of her pursuit for political achievement, she didn’t felt alienation from her husband and children until she found her husband was angry for her actions and left for the South Africa. Due to these same family problems, we can’t help doubting about whether the condition would happen to all the capable women.Thirdly, these two women still had their vulnerability. Both the queen cried in the forest alone and Mrs. Thatcher who often talked to her imaginary after her husband’s death let people to see the female internal feature vividly. No matter how strong they acted in the superficial level, they still have vulnerable facets of women. No matter how they werebright in the positions as leaders, in fact, they were still common females and had ordinary emotions. No matter people admired them or criticized them, they had made many efforts in the process of pursing what they want.Besides two women’s similarities, they still have their own special features. The differences of the two characters are easier to find. Because the United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy, the Queen is a symbol of the country without having real rights, and Elizabeth had to submit to the cabinet. Required by the Prime Minister Blair and the public, the Queen felt stressful. So she participated in the funeral of the Princess Diana finally. In contrast to Elizabeth’s submission, this condition would never happen on Mrs. Thatcher. Experiences of female discrimination and her own lofty belief formed her personalities which were never to give up and submit to anyone. Although she felt frightened of the explosion event and cried for the war, she needed to maintain her impression ---“the iron lady”among the public and kept her persistence and bravery. In the end, I want to say no matter Elizabeth II or Mrs. Thatcher, they are all outstanding characters and they are all have their own distinctive charm in the war of striving for the rights and higher position. Elizabeth II and Mrs. Thatcher were female elites who encouraged the women under unfair treatment to seek for their own dream and keep intheir own pursuit for what they want to get.。

elizabeth 伊丽莎白观后感

After watching the movie" Elizabeth", there is a strange feeling in my heart. About the woman, I admire her, and at the same time, I feel sympathy with her.In 1558, the Queen Mary died of cancer. Then Elizabeth became the queen. At that time, England was in a terrible situation and the military of the country was weak. Protestants and Catholics fought with each other. Luckily, many Protestants who escaped to other country all returned. They intended to help the Queen consolidate politic and make contributions. One of the most outstanding people is Walsingham. After defeated by Scotland, the Queen realized that she was innocent in the politic. Therefore, she began to learn how to control her power and manage her country. With the help of Walsingham, the domestic situation in England was completely stable, and Elizabeth became mature finally. For the stability and security, her minister always suggests her to marry with Spain or France. But as she said, no matter who she married, she was not able to satisfy everybody. So at last she decides not to marry all her life just as she said she marries with England. As a queen, Elizabeth was successful undoubtedly. Elizabeth ruled England nearly fifty years. Under her rule, England gradually became prosperity and powerful. Her era is called "The Golden Age" by English. However, as a woman, she sacrificed her love, her whole life.。

铁娘子观后感英文

铁娘子观后感英文Iron Lady (铁娘子) is a film that left a lasting impression on me. The movie tells the story of a female politician who fought her way to the top and became the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Watching this movie, I couldn't help but feel inspired and empowered by the strength and determination of the protagonist. The film begins with a flashback to Margaret Thatcher's childhood, highlighting her humble beginnings and her resilience in the face of adversity. From an early age, she displayed a fierce determination and an unwavering belief in herself. This determination becomes the driving force behind her relentless pursuit of her goals throughout her life. One of the aspects of the movie that struck me the most was the depiction of Thatcher's leadership style. She was portrayed as a strong and decisive leader, unafraid to make tough decisions and stand by them. Her no-nonsense approach earned her the nickname "Iron Lady," a term used to describe her unwavering resolve and unwavering commitment to her principles.Thatcher's leadership style was not without its critics, and the film does not shy away from portraying the divisiveness of her policies. However, it also presents her as a leader who was unafraid to take unpopular stances if she believed they were necessary for the greater good. This unwavering conviction is what made her both respected and feared by her political colleagues.Another theme that resonated with me was the portrayal of Thatcher's personal life and the challenges she faced as a woman in a male-dominated field. Throughout the film, we see how she had to constantly prove herself and overcome the gender stereotypes that sought to undermine her authority. Her journey serves as a powerful reminder of the obstacles that women have had to face and continue to face in both politics and leadership positions. The film also delves into the sacrifices Thatcher made in her personal life for the sake of her career. We see how her dedication and ambition came at a cost, often straining her relationships with her family and loved ones. This portrayal humanizes Thatcher and reminds us that even the most influential leaders have personal struggles and sacrifices. From a filmmaking perspective, Iron Lady is a visually stunning piece of work. The cinematography beautifully captures the different stages of Thatcher's life and career, from the gray and gloomy streets of her childhood to the grandeur and power of the political arena. The attention to detail and the overall production quality make for a compelling and immersive viewing experience. In conclusion, Iron Lady is a thought-provoking film that offers a glimpse into the life and legacy of one of the most influential political figures of our time. It portrays Margaret Thatcher as a strong and determined leader who overcame countless obstacles to become a trailblazer for women in politics. The film's exploration of her leadership style, personal struggles, and sacrifices serves as a powerful reminder of the challenges faced by women in positions of power. Iron Lady is a must-see for anyone interested in political history, leadership, or women's empowerment.。

傲慢与偏见观后感英文标题

傲慢与偏见观后感英文作文1I have watched the movie "Pride and Prejudice" and it left a deep impression on me.The characters in the movie are very interesting. Elizabeth Bennet is a smart and independent girl. She doesn't like Mr. Darcy at first because of his pride. But as the story goes on, she realizes that she misunderstands him. Mr. Darcy, although proud at the beginning, changes because of his love for Elizabeth. The love development between them gives me a lot of thoughts. It tells me that we shouldn't judge people too quickly. We need to know them well before making a conclusion. The most impressive scene for me is when Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth for the second time. It shows his sincerity and determination. This movie makes me understand that true love needs time and understanding.2I have recently watched the movie "Pride and Prejudice" and it has left a deep impression on me.In the movie, the concept of social class greatly influenced the fate of the characters. The wealthy and noble families seemed to have moreopportunities and privileges, while those from lower classes struggled to gain respect and a better life. This made me realize that such unfairness still exists in some ways in our society today. The main characters' struggles and growth in the face of love were also very touching. Elizabeth and Darcy started with misunderstandings and prejudices. However, through various experiences and self-reflection, they overcame their pride and prejudice and finally found true love. This shows that love requires not only passion but also understanding and tolerance.Overall, "Pride and Prejudice" is not just a love story but also a reflection on social reality and human nature. It reminds us to look beyond the surface and to be open-minded and kind in our lives.3After watching "Pride and Prejudice", I was deeply impressed by its artistic charm. The film's 画面are simply breathtaking. The scenes of the English countryside, with its vast green fields and charming cottages, create a peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. One particular scene where Elizabeth walks through the misty meadow in the early morning light left a strong visual impact on me.The music in the movie is also remarkable. It enhances the emotional tone of each scene perfectly. For instance, during the tense moments between Darcy and Elizabeth, the intense and suspenseful music heightens the drama, making the viewers feel the tension. The performances of the actors deserve high praise. Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet brings out the character's intelligence, independence, and spirit vividly. Her expressions and gestures convey Elizabeth's emotions accurately, making the audience empathize with her.In conclusion, "Pride and Prejudice" is not only a romantic story but also a masterpiece of art in terms of its visuals, music, and acting.4After watching "Pride and Prejudice", I was deeply moved and gained a lot of inspiration for my life.In the movie, the characters' ways of handling interpersonal relationships taught me many lessons. Elizabeth's independence and wisdom made me understand that we should not blindly follow others' opinions but have our own judgment. Mr. Darcy's transformation from arrogance to humility showed me the importance of self-reflection and changing for the better. The love view presented in the film also had a great impact on me. True love is not just based on appearance or wealth but on mutual understanding and respect. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's love story tells usthat love needs time and understanding to grow. We should not be hasty in judging others and should keep an open mind to discover the good in each other. In conclusion, "Pride and Prejudice" is not only a beautiful love story but also a guide for me in life. It makes me want to become a better person and handle relationships more wisely.5After reading "Pride and Prejudice", I was deeply touched and had a lot of thoughts. In this story, the relationship between love and money is very complicated. The main characters faced economic difficulties when pursuing love. For example, Elizabeth and Darcy's love was hindered by their different social status and wealth. Darcy was rich and proud, while Elizabeth's family was not so wealthy. This made their love journey full of challenges. Also, different characters had different attitudes towards love and money. Some people cared more about money and status, while others valued true love above all else. Wickham, for instance, was only interested in money and used marriage as a means to get rich. But Elizabeth and Darcy finally overcame these obstacles and found true love. This book makes me realize that although money is important, true love is more precious. We should not let the pursuit of money blind us tothe beauty of love.。

铁娘子电影英文观后感

铁娘子电影英文观后感The Iron Lady: An English Movie ReviewThe Iron Lady is a biographical film directed by Phyllida Lloyd, featuring Meryl Streep in the lead role as former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Released in 2011, the movie takes us on a journey through Thatcher's life, showcasing her rise to power and the challenges she faced along the way. As an English movie enthusiast, I was captivated by the film's portrayal of this influential and controversial figure. One of the standout aspects of The Iron Lady is Meryl Streep's exceptional performance. Streep completely disappears into the character of Margaret Thatcher, both physically and emotionally. From the way she walks and talks to the smallest details of her mannerisms, Streep's portrayal is meticulous and convincing. She effortlessly brings Thatcher's determination, strength, and unwavering self-belief to life on the screen. It is no surprise that Streep won an Academy Award for her performance in this film. The film excels in its non-linear narrative style, intertwining Thatcher's past and present. This approach allows the audience to gain a deeper understanding of her character and the events that shaped her political career. Through flashbacks, we witness her humble beginnings as a grocer's daughter and her struggles to be taken seriously in a male-dominated political arena. These glimpses into her personal life add depth and humanity to an otherwise formidable political figure. One particular scene that stands out is Thatcher's heartfelt conversation with her deceased husband, Denis. This intimate moment showcases her vulnerability and the profound impact Denis had on her life and decision-making. It offers a rare glimpse into the personal side of a leader often characterized as cold and unyielding. This scene, along with several others, underscores the film's exploration of Thatcher as a complex and multi-dimensional character. The Iron Lady also excels in its attention to detail and the recreation of historical events. From the costumes to the sets, every aspect of the film transports the audienceback to the time and place in which Thatcher lived. The director successfully captures the political and social climate of Britain during Thatcher's tenure, providing a broader context for understanding her policies and decisions. The film's authenticity contributes to its overall impact and makes it an enlightening experience for history enthusiasts. However, The Iron Lady does have its flaws. Some critics argue that the film paints Thatcher in too sympathetic a light, downplaying the negative consequences of her policies. While the movie does touch upon the divisive nature of Thatcher's leadership, it does not delve deeply into the social unrest and economic disparities that arose during her time in office. It is worth noting that the film is a biopic rather than a comprehensive analysis of Thatcher's political legacy. In conclusion, The Iron Lady is a masterful biographical film that offers a compelling portrayal of Margaret Thatcher's life and political career. Meryl Streep's transformative performance, the non-linear narrative structure, and the attention to historical accuracy make the movie an engaging and educational watch. While the film may have its limitations in presenting a balanced view of Thatcher's legacy, it undoubtedly succeeds in humanizing a remarkable and controversial leader.。

There's no legend----Iron Lady Movie Review1In my opinion,Margaret Thatcher was not a legend , she couldn't sustain the word "beauty",saying she was a "hero" also seems far-fetched, but what we regarded chilled was political means rather than her heart. Having been famous for her iron fist, Margaret Thatcher got out of the public gaze, her own life was no better than a story, not a legend.2When woman complete what males do traditionally, her life became the best reflection of Conservative"s belief, from this point of view, right-wing political ideas succeed, but loneliness appeared after bloom, she was courageous, indomitable, but even if she was proud of the world-famous only female Prime Minister in British history, she couldn't prevent fate from halting her career, taking her husband away, the time destroyed her health, eroded her consciousness, she could not stop herself from getting old.3This is the opportunity of the movie, Phyllida Lloyd has perspective female feeling , subtle patience, she is more sensitive of small pieces change than major macro changes, she saw that Margaret Thatcher became more appropriate for storytelling after aura disappeared. 4 the life of Margaret Thatcher becomes soft by the time, at the beginning of the movie, Margaret Thatcher has already elderly, she was slowness, picky forgetfulness, loneliness. What she could not stand most was that people who were around her began whisperingabout her, carefully talked to her, as if she even lost her thinking ability , and the only conversation object she can trustingly talked was the illusion of her dead husband. This is probably a great shame for Margaret Thatcher, she led the country by her strong arm that male couldn't compare with, and now even the freedom of going out should be restricted.Phyllida Lloyd invite "the most distinguished American actress MeryStreep to play MargaretThatcher,Britain's most prominent female political leaders.Streep is synonymous with superb acting, her image coincides with the British conservative Prime Minister 1980s.Not only imitate appearance lifelike but also Thatcher's iconic wavy short hair and her unique pronunciation habits, all behavior fleshes out the details.}Streep has really captured the soul of this role. She accurately grasp the essence of this grocer's daughter's life experience of reaching the top of the world, and she played the role perfectly. What Margaret Thatcher tried to express was that she is a woman, who was about to being addicted to time ocean , after all, she was, Thatcher, even if there is no legend, she was still unwilling to be mocked by time . She struggled, missed, gave up, she ordered herself being sober, command herself to accept the fact that f her husband, died,to command herself to continue the fight.there were several times fighting in her life and never give up, even if the opponent is herself when she was old. When her entire life memories are finished, she pulled herself out, tolet herself go.Then, she tidied the man who stayed in her memories for long time up last time, to see him get out of her world step by step , to say"goodbye, packed all his belongings to accept others' concern. When the new day began, she still was the Margaret Thatcher, maybe aging but refused to slack her appearance. When Phyllida Lloyd shredded the Iron Lady's political career apart filling into the memories of the woman who became vicissitudes under time but still refused let herself go , perhaps even we don't have qualifications to criticize her political stance while only give standing ovation to the fighting spirit of the woman .。

伊丽莎白黄金时代电影观后感英文

伊丽莎白黄金时代电影观后感英文Title: A Glimpse into the Golden Age of ElizabethAfter watching the film "The Golden Age of Elizabeth," I was deeply immersed in the rich tapestry of history that it weaved. Set against the backdrop of one of the most influential periods in English history, the movie not only portrays the political intrigues and power struggles of Queen Elizabeth's reign but also delves into the personal life of one of England's most iconic monarchs. The film masterfully captures the grandeur and opulence of the era, with meticulous attention to period detail. The costumes, sets, and overall art direction transport the audience back to the 16th century, allowing for a sensory experience that complements the historical narrative. As a viewer, I found myself captivated by the visual splendor, which seemed to reflect the magnificence of Elizabeth's reign. Moreover, the characters are complex and well-developed, particularly the portrayal of Queen Elizabeth by Cate Blanchett. Her performance is a tour de force, capturing the queen's strength, intelligence, and vulnerability. It is a testament to her acting prowess that she makes the viewers empathize with a historical figure who ruled with an iron fist. The supportingcast also delivers compelling performances, adding depth to the political and personal dynamics of the court. One of the most striking aspects of the film is its exploration of the tension between personal desires and political duties. Queen Elizabeth's struggle to reconcile her role as a ruler with her aspirations as a woman is poignantly depicted. This theme resonates across time, illustrating the universality of leadership's challenges and the sacrifices required of those who hold positions of great power. In conclusion, "The Golden Age of Elizabeth" is a cinematic gem that offers both visual splendor and intellectual stimulation. It provides insights into the life of a remarkable monarch while also offering a window into the societal norms and values of the time. As a viewer, I was left with a deeper appreciation for history and the complexities of human nature. The film is not just a biography of a queen but a reflection on leadership, power, and the cost of legacy.。

傲慢与偏见电影观后感英文版

傲慢与偏见电影观后感英文版

傲慢与偏见电影观后感英文版one:Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have h er own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book. The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune mu st be in need of a wife”. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.I couldn’t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father’s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century. In “Pride and Prejudice”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don’t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married. In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concep t of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people’s mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children’s marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one’s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can’t help thinking: can money determine everything?Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.two:Jane Austen's tale of love and economics reaches us once more with the energy of a thorough novelty."Pride and Prejudice" has been a favorite novel of mine since I first read it and I've seen Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson,Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle and now Matthew MacFadyen and Kiera Knightly.Amazingly enough I've never been disappointed. The material seems to be full proof.Colin Firth's Darcy,in many ways,is the Darcy I've always imagined. He's been an actor I've followed feverishly since his glorious Adrian LeDuc in "Apartment Zero",Matthew MacFadyen was totally new to me but he managed to create that sense of longing that makes that final pay off so satisfying.Kiera Knightly is a ravishing revelation.I must confess,I didn't remotely imagined that she was capable of the powerful range she brilliantly shows here. The other big surprise is Joe Wright, the director,in his feature film debut which is more than promising,it's extraordinary. The photography, the art direction and the spectacular supporting cast,in particular Donald Sutherland and Brenda Blethyn, makes this new version of a perennial classic a memorable evening at the movies2.Pride and Prejudice was an absolutely fantastic film.A great cast, and Keira Knightly did an excellent job and Matthew Macfadyen was a wonderful in the role of Mr Darcy. The cinematography was so ridiculously good, there were some fantastic shots and thecostumes were also fantastic. The script was fairly good,it is true to the classic by Jane Austen,Mr Wickam could have made more of an appearance, and had a striking resemblance to one Orlando Bloom. The movie moved fairly fast but trying to fit such a novel into two hours had to be hard anyway,so I say well done to all involved,as such a beloved book can be a hard project to take on,but after watching it I really can't wait until to see it again!。

《The Queen》

As a seasoned film critic,I find myself often drawn to narratives that delve into the complexities of power, legacy, and the human condition. The Queen, directed by Stephen Frears,is a film that encapsulates these themes with a delicate balance of drama and insight. It tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the events surrounding the aftermath of Princess Dianas death in1997,a pivotal moment in British history that tested the monarchy and the nations collective emotions. The film opens with a serene portrayal of the Queens daily life,a stark contrast to the turmoil that is about to unfold.Helen Mirrens portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II is nothing short of mesmerizing. She captures the essence of the Queens stoic demeanor, her sense of duty, and the internal conflict she faces as the nation mourns and demands a more human response from the royal family. One of the most striking aspects of the film is its ability to humanize the Queen.Despite her status as a figurehead and the immense power she represents, the audience is privy to her vulnerability and the weight of her responsibilities.Mirrens nuanced performance allows us to empathize with the Queen as she navigates the delicate balance between tradition and public sentiment. The screenplay, written by Peter Morgan,is a masterclass in storytelling. It weaves together the personal and the political, highlighting the pressure on the Queen from both her advisors and the public. The dialogue is sharp and poignant, capturing the essence of the British class system and the unspoken rules that govern it.The film does not shy away from depictingthe friction between the Queen and Prime Minister Tony Blair, portrayed by Michael Sheen, who is eager to connect with the grieving public in a more contemporary and empathetic manner. The cinematography by Affonso Beato is equally impressive, with sweeping shots of the royal estates that underscore the isolation of the Queen. The films visual language is understated yet powerful, reflecting the Queens own restraint and the gravity of her situation. The use of natural light and the contrast between the intimate interiors of Buckingham Palace and the vast, open landscapes of Balmoral serve to highlight the Queens internal struggle. What sets The Queen apart from other biopics is its focus on the unseen aspects of leadership. It explores the Queens relationship with her subjects, her family, and her own identity. The film does not glamorize or vilify the monarchy instead,it presents a balanced view that invites the audience to reflect on the role of the monarchy in modern society. One cannot discuss The Queen without mentioning the films historical context. The events surrounding Princess Dianas death were a turning point for the British monarchy, and the film captures this moment with remarkable accuracy. It is a testament to the films research and attention to detail that it can evoke such a strong sense of the time without resorting to sensationalism. The films score by Alexandre Desplat is hauntingly beautiful, adding an emotional depth to the narrative. It complements the visual storytellingand enhances the emotional journey of the characters. In conclusion,The Queen is a powerful and evocative film that offers a unique perspective on a significant moment in British history. It is a testament to the power of cinema to explore complex themes and humanize historical figures.Helen Mirrens performance is a standout, and the films script, cinematography, and score all contribute to a memorable cinematic experience. It is a film that resonates with audiences, inviting them to reflect on the nature of power, tradition, and the human spirit.。

傲慢与偏见电影观后感英文

傲慢与偏见电影观后感英文傲慢与偏见电影观后感英文【一】Elizabeth Bennett (Keira Knightley) is the second of five daughters, all single and young. When a new man moves into the neighborhood, all of the girls take notice. Mr. Bingley is quite richand handsome enough, after all. At the first large party for area folks, Mr. Bingley comes to the festivity with his sister and the proud Mr. Darcy in toe. Bingley has his eye on Elizabeth's beautiful sister Jane while Mr. Darcy neither dances or talks to anyone. Although unacknowledged, however, Mr. Darcy is transfixed by Elizabeth and she is strangely drawn to him. Through a series of town meetings, country visits, and more, Elizabeth and Darcy meet again...and again. There is something stirring. Is is disgust or is it love? This classic story could not be presented better than it is this film. It is utterly lovely in every aspect, every way. The performersare just outstanding, with Knightley giving Elizabeth the fire, the mind, the sensitivity that make her such an appealing person. Mr. McF is to sigh and cry over as his Darcy is handsome, in possession of a arresting voice, and provides a display of the great depth of his own sensitive nature. The costumes and scenery are colossally stunning, as is the editing, the script (most of it is Austen's own words), and anythingelse that makes a movie this beautiful. Do not let another day go by before you buy a ticket or arrange any other method to watch this film.【二】The feeling of 《Pride And Prejudice》Then man treat great event in one's life with punishing, Demonstrate different attitudes to the love question of the marriage of young girl of the family origin of middle class of villages and towns, Thus reflected authors oneself's marriage view: It is wrong to get married for the property, money and position; Get married and does not consider that above-mentioned factors are unwise too . 电影铁娘子观后感

电影铁娘子观后感

As a seasoned film critic,I find myself often drawn to biopics that delve into the lives of influential figures, capturing not only their public personas but also the intimate, personal struggles that shaped their legacies. The Iron Lady, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and starring Meryl Streep,is one such film that has left an indelible mark on me,offering a poignant portrayal of Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. From the outset, the film captivated me with its unique narrative structure. Rather than following a linear timeline,it weaves together Thatchers later years, marked by solitude and the onset of dementia, with flashbacks to her political career. This approach provides a stark contrast between the powerful, unyielding leader she once was and the frail, elderly woman she has become. It is a testament to the films storytelling that it manages to evoke empathy for a figure who,in her prime, was a polarizing presence in British politics.Meryl Streeps performance is nothing short of phenomenal. She fully embodies Thatcher, from her distinctive voice and mannerisms to the steely determination that defined her political career.Streeps portrayal is so convincing that it is easy to forget you are watching an actress you are, instead, witnessing the life of Margaret Thatcher unfold before your eyes. Her ability to convey the complexities of Thatchers personality, from her unwavering resolve to her moments of vulnerability,is truly remarkable. The film also excels in its depiction of Thatchers rise to power. It highlights the challenges she faced as a woman in a maledominated politicallandscape,as well as the sacrifices she made for her career. The Iron Lady does not shy away from showcasing the darker aspects of her tenure, including the divisive policies that led to social unrest and the controversial Falklands War.Yet,it also presents a more nuanced view of Thatcher, one that acknowledges her achievements in breaking gender barriers and her unwavering commitment to her beliefs.Visually, the film is stunning. The cinematography captures the grandeur of 10Downing Street and the British Parliament,as well as the more intimate settings of Thatchers home. The costume design is meticulous, reflecting the evolution of Thatchers style from a young politician to the iconic figure she became known as.The attention to detail in these aspects of the film enhances the authenticity of the story and immerses the viewer in the world of Margaret Thatcher. However,The Iron Lady is not without its flaws. Some critics argue that the films focus on Thatchers dementia trivializes her political legacy. While it is true that the film delves deeply into her personal struggles,I believe this approach serves to humanize her, reminding us that behind the political icon was a woman with her own set of vulnerabilities and regrets. Moreover, the films exploration of Thatchers relationship with her deceased husband,Denis, adds emotional depth to the narrative. It provides insight into the personal sacrifices she made for her career and the loneliness she experienced in her later years. This aspect of the film is both heartwrenching and thoughtprovoking, inviting the audience to reflect on the costs of ambition and the importance of personalconnections. In conclusion,The Iron Lady is a powerful and evocative film that offers a multifaceted look at the life of Margaret Thatcher.Meryl Streeps exceptional performance, coupled with the films compelling narrative and stunning visuals, make it a mustwatch for anyone interested in political history or the complexities of human nature. While it may not provide a definitive answer to the question of Thatchers legacy,it invites viewers to engage in a nuanced discussion about her impact on British society and the personal struggles that shaped her life.。
