My teacher told our class that with the high-speed trains, you can get from Beijing to Shanghai, which is over 1,000 km away, in only about 4 hours! That would take at least 12 hours to drive. The high-speed trains look really modern and comfortable too from the pictures I've seen.Switching over to air travel, both the US and China have huge aviation industries with lots of domestic and international flights. But again, there are some key differences. The US has been a leader in air travel for a really long time, so we have older and more established airlines like American, United, and Delta.
