Select Insert from the window and choose Existing Component.... Select your Main-Product in the specification tree where to put in (Ship in this case) and search for DiagPowerMotor.CATProduct. You will find it in ……ECR\Data_Student\……………… Click on Open and the component will be inserted in your product.

Link Schematic
Linking schematic Diagrams
Select the Link Schematic Button. In the appearing Textbox you will see the not linked Components of your Document. Select Motor-XMP50-S.1/Socket-1B1WP.1 from the list. The Component which contains the Socket will be highlighted. Select the Socket marked with an X by mouse-click. The box disappears and the Component will be removed from the list. Select the Link Schematic Button again to link the next element in the list. Note: A double-click on the Link Schematic Button will leave the Textbox open until all elements are linked.

Select the plane where you want the object to be placed. Click to place and the Catalog Browser appears again. The placed Component will get a green check mark. Repeat the last seven steps to place the other components.

Before you can start the automatic Routing you need a main run to which the cableways will be connected. Select the Compass and put it on the plane on which the reservation will take place. Select the Path Reservation Button. Select Electrical Reservation from the pull down menu. Route your Run. Reset the Compass.

Select the Check Links Button. Select the pull down menu in the Schematic document(s) selected field or... ...select the [...] to get the Multi selection Dialog Box. Select DiagPowerMotor.1 from the list. In the appearing list you will see which schematic equipment is linked to which 3D element.
