因为食物这一题材和学生的实际生活有着密切的联系,而且之前学生也学习过一些相关内容,有了一定的知识基础,所以学生对这一单元的内容应该会很感兴趣,学起来也会更加得心应手。
由于以前学生已经学过相关内容,所以这一单元的的“Let’s talk”部分精炼了许多,对话内容也比较集中。
在这一单元,学生将学习更多的关于食物以及形容食物的词汇,教学过程中应注意教育学生养成良好的饮食习惯。
(二)教学对象分析五年级的孩子活泼好动,思维敏锐,敢想、敢说,喜欢丰富多彩又具有挑战性的活动,求新求异的愿望强烈并且有一定量的词汇基础和语法功底。
他们正处于开始从被动的学习主体向主动的学习主体转变的过程中。
五年级是小学英语学习的高级阶段,他们已经有了一定的语言基础。
饮食爱好是他们平时谈论较多的话题,十分贴近生活,把新的知识点融入到他们的真实生活中,学生们会更愿意接受和学习。
二、单元教学目标(一)语言技能目标1.能够掌握一些常见食品饮料的英文名称,能够准确描述这些食物的最显著特征。
能够在模拟点餐对话时正确使用上述单词。
2.能够理解对话内容,按照正确的语音、语调和意群朗读对话,并能进行分角色饰演3.能够掌握字母组合oW在单词中的发音/au/和/au/。
能够读出含有字母组合ow的简单单词。

Pizza图片,PPT,竞争表格(黑板)
四、教学过程
Step1、Warm up
(1) Greeting&Chant------Finger song !(活跃氛围,激发学生的学习热情。
)
(2) 由Chant 中的fork引出“beef /food”词汇,然后再引出“Pizza”图片,
同时也引出了本次课的竞争机制。
Step2、Review & Lead in
(1) 通过pizza引出四年级所学的食物、饮料以及水果词汇。
运用PPT用头
脑风暴的形式让学生复习旧知,再由旧知引出新知。
(2) 由食物词汇引出本课时的词汇ice cream, hamburger, tea, sandwich,
salad。
Step3、Presentation
(1)通过PPT用猜一猜的方式来一一呈现四会单词ice cream, hamburger, tea, sandwich, salad 。
(2)在呈现新单词的过程中强化单词发音及名词可数与不可数问题(处理难点)
Step4、Practice
(1)领读卡片——看图卡猜单词——“Touch and say”
(2)PPT呈现“转指针读单词”——“Whant’s missing?”
设计意图:通过有趣的活动和任务型教学模式来让学生掌握所学知识,掌握词汇的音形义,更重要的是激发学生的学习乐趣。
Step 5、Consolidation
(1)Watch the video,观看课文配套视频,讲解I’d like=I would like 以及some /a 的用法。
然后让学生试读。
(2)PPT呈现所学食物和饮料引出“FOOD”及“DRINK”,为巩固重点句型做准备,借助图片让学生练习句型“What would you like to eat/drink?I’d like…”并让学生大胆展示出来。
Step 6、Extension
(1)PPT 展示西餐厅图景。
创设情景,让学生模拟餐厅点餐情景。
(2)PPT提供食物及饮品图片及重要句型,让学生先和伙伴们在下面预演,准备好后上前展示。
(3) 情感教育(图文呈现)
1)Delicious food makes us happy.
美食让人心情愉悦。
2)Be helpful. You can get more!
辛勤劳动,你能得到更多美味!
3) No junk food. Don ’t waste any food.
远离垃圾食品。
杜绝浪费。
