一、教材分析:

五、教学过程:
Step 1: Warm-up
- Greet the students and ask them about their favorite festivals. For example, you can say, "Good morning, class! I hope you're all doing well. Let's start by talking about our favorite festivals. Raise your hand and tell me the name of your favorite festival."
- Show pictures or objects related to different festivals and ask the students to guess the names of the festivals. For example,
show a picture of a pumpkin and ask, "What festival is associated with pumpkins?"
- Introduce the topic of the lesson: "Today we are going to talk about our favorite festival, the Spring Festival. Can anyone tell me what the Spring Festival is?"
Step 2: Presentation
-Present the new vocabulary: Spring Festival, red envelope, fireworks, dragon dance, etc. Use pictures, gestures, and real objects to help students understand the meanings. For example, show a picture of a red envelope and say, "This is a red envelope. During the Spring Festival, people give these envelopes with money as a gift to children."
- Introduce the sentence pattern: "Our favourite festival is the Spring Festival." Explain the meaning of the sentence and provide examples. Step 3: Listening

- Play the audio again. Students listen and answer the questions about the dialogue. For example, ask questions like, "What festival does Amy like?" or "Why does Tom like the Spring Festival?"
Step 4: Speaking
-Divide the class into pairs or small groups. Ask students to discuss and share their favorite festivals using the sentence pattern "Our favourite festival is ______." For example, give each pair or group a few minutes to discuss and then ask them to share their favorite festivals with the class.
-Encourage students to ask each other questions about their favorite festivals, such as "What do you do during the festival?" or "Why is it your favorite festival?" For example, one student can ask, "What special food do you eat during the Spring Festival?"
Step 5: Reading and Writing
