Step 1 Warm-up & Revision
1. Greetings
2. 齐唱歌曲:Finger Family
3. 引出课题,带读
4. Quick response
复习交通工具类单词:bus, car, bike, school bus
5. Free talk:How do you go to school/the zoo/ the park/ the library?
(复习词组:on foot, by bike, by car, by bus等)
6. Gussing game
课件出示被蒙住的图片,学生猜图中人物的出行方式
(复习How does he/she go to …? He/ She goes to … by … .)
Step 2 Presentation
1. 呈现王涛阿姨的图片,提出问题:(1) Who’s she? (2) Where is she from?
学生观看课文视频,找出问题答案
1)由Who’s she?引出单词aunt,带读,操练
2)由Where is she from?引出Taiwan.出示台湾的一些图片,引出句子教学Taiwan is a beautiful place.
3)教place,带读,操练。
4)出示杭州、上海的图片,让学生说____is a beautiful place.
2. 提问:How does Wang Tao’s aunt go to Taiwan?
再次播放课文视频,学生观看找答案
3. 由问题引出ship教学
先出示绵羊图片,引出单词sheep,再引出ship,强调i的发音/i/.与sheep进行读音的区分
4. 出示台湾与福建地图
师: Can we go to Taiwan by ship/ plane? 学生回答
引出单词教学plane,与place进行拼写的区分
Taiwan is a beautiful pla_e.
We can go to Taiwan by pla_e.
5. 再问学生Can we go to Taiwan by car/train?教train
6. 师总结:We can go to Taiwan by ship or plane. But we can’t go by car or train. Because there’s no road or railway to Taiwan.
7. 再出示王涛阿姨图片,问Does she go to Taiwan by plane?引导学生用No, she doesn’t.回答。
带读句子,进行意群、声调指导,并板书。
再问Does she go to Taiwan by ship? 引导学生用Yes, she does.回答。
带读并板书8. Exercise:Ask and answer.
出示某个城市的图片,师问:Does she go to …by …?再出示交通工具图片,学生根据图片回答Yes, she does.或No, she doesn’t.

Step 3 Consolidation
1. Guessing game
教师出示学生游玩照片,请同学用Does she/he go to … by …?来猜测她/他出行的方式。
全班同学根据照片中的同学的提示(举笑脸或哭脸)回答Yes, she does.或No, she doesn’t.
2. Pair work.
同桌二人谈论自己家人或朋友的出行方式,做一个对话。
再请个别同学展示。
3. 播放低碳出行的宣传短片,倡导绿色出行,多用公共交通
Step 4 Homework
1. 听录音跟读课文
2. 完成活动手册Unit 4 Part B
3. 询问朋友的出行方式。
