高一学生英文演讲
Ladies and gentlemen：
Firstly, I want to ask you a question. Have you ever dreamed of becoming a doctor, a lawyer, a scientist or even a president? I am sure that most of you have had such dreams. However, as we grow up, we often find ourselves moving away from our dreams due to various reasons. Sometimes we may feel that our dreams are too hard to achieve. Other times, we may think that our dreams are too unrealistic or unattainable. But have you ever stopped to think about what your dreams really mean to you?
I want to share with you my own experience. When I was younger, I always wanted to become a doctor. I thought it was a noble profession that could save people's lives. However, as I grew older, I began to doubt myself. I thought my dream was too unrealistic and I was not smart enough to achieve it. I started to give up on my dream and lost my direction in life. But then one day, I realized that my dream was not the only thing that mattered to me. My family, my friends and my teachers were just as important. This realization
made me realize that my dream was not the only thing that was important to me.
So what is the lesson here? Dreams are important, but they are not the only thing that matters in life. We should not give up on our dreams easily. We should always believe in ourselves and our abilities. We should not let other people's opinions or our own doubts stop us from pursuing our dreams.
In conclusion, ladies and gentlemen, let's not forget our dreams. Let's not let fear or doubt hold us back from pursuing our dreams. Let's remember that our dreams are what make us unique and special individuals. So, no matter what obstacles we face in life, let's never give up on our dreams. Let's keep believing in ourselves and our abilities so that we can achieve our dreams and become the people we want to be.
