Play a guessing game. T shows some pictures of countries
on the screen. Ss need to guess what country it is according
to the pictures.
Step2 Presentation

T shows more pictures about the destination of our journey--Singapore. Ask Ss’feelings about there.
2.While-reading
①Give Ss 2 minutes to skim the passage and find out 5 key
words in the passage to summarize Singapore: Location, language, food, zoo, temperature.
②Read the passage carefully, and find out more details about
those key words.
③True or false. Correct the statements of Singapore.
④Pairwork. T: Your relatives want to travel to Singapore, they
come to you to ask for more information.
Work with your deskmate to fill in the conversation about the circumstances of Singapore.
3.After-reading
Groupwork. Make a list of facts about your hometown or a place you have been to, talk with your group members and give a speech to introduce it.
