Unit 3 How do you get to school?
1.交通方式的具体表达:
a)动词+冠词(a/an/the)+交通工具
take+a/an/the+交通工具
take the bus/the train/subway/car乘坐公共汽车/火车/地铁/小汽车
ride+a/an/the/one’s+交通工具
ride his bike骑他的自行车/ride a bike骑自行车
b)by+交通工具,by后不能接冠词或物主代词等
by bus/bike/car/subway
I go to school by bike.我骑自行车去学校。

同义句转换
I take the bus to Beijing.=I go to Beijing by bus.我飞去北京。

I walk to school.=I go to school on foot.我走路去学校。

I ride my bike to the bookstore=I go to the bookstore by bike.我骑自行去书店。

2.由how引导的疑问句
概念:how是一个疑问副词,意为“如何,怎么样”,放在句首,构成特殊疑问句。

i.对交通方式提问用how
—How do you get to school?你怎样去上学?
—I ride my bike to school.我骑自行车上学。

ii.对一段时间提问用how long
—How long does it take you to get to school?到学校花费你多长时间?
—It takes about 20 minutes to walk.步行大约花费20分钟。

iii.对一段距离提问用how far
—How far is it from your home to school?从你家到学校有多远?
—It’s about three kilometers.大约三公里.
3.ride
动词,骑,ride+a/an/the/one’s+交通工具ride her bike骑她的自行车ride
名词,旅程,路程。

The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.乘公共汽车大约要花20分钟。

4.take
乘坐take the bus乘坐公共汽车
take 花费It takes me two hours to get there.大约花费我两小时达到那里。

吃take medicine吃药
It takes sb some time to do sth花费某人多长时间做某事
It takes me 20 minutes to get to school.
5.sure确定的,确信的
I am not sure.我不确定。

That’s for sure.那是当然。

6.“百”的表达方式:hundred
hundred前面有具体数字时,hundred用原形,不用加-s;
当表示约数概念,即“数百”时,hundred加-s 并在其后加介词of
一百one/a hundred,五百five hundred, 九百nine hundred, 一百三十四one hundred and thirty—four
数百hundreds of
Hundreds of people lost their lives in the earthquake.数百人在地震中失去了他们的生命。

7.think of, think about辨析
think of认为,想出think about 考虑,思考(一般是短时间的较仔细的考虑)
What do you think of …?你认为…怎么样?用来询问某人或某事的看法。

(=How do you like?)What do you think of him? 你认为他怎么样?=How do you like him?
8.bus stop,bus station辨析
bus stop公共汽车停靠站bus station公共汽车出发站
9.afraid用法
be afraid of sb/sth害怕某人/某事
be afraid of doing sth害怕做某事,担心做某事
be afraid to do sth害怕做某事,不敢做某事
Don’t be afraid. Everything will be OK soon.别害怕,一切很快就会好的。

I am afraid to sleep alone.我害怕一个人睡。

10.between…and…,
between通常指两者之间,一般用and连接两个具体的人或物
There is a park between the library and our school.在图书馆和我们学校之间有一个公园。

I am sitting between my parents.我正坐在我父母中间。

11.like用法
动词,意为“喜欢”,like doing/to do sth喜欢做某事
介词,意为“像”,look like看起来像be like 像
He looks like his father.他长得像他爸爸。

My Chinese teacher is like a sister to me .我的语文老师对我像姐姐一样。

12.leave用法
leave离开
The students leave school at 5:00 p.m.
leave sth + 地点把某个东西留在某个地方
Don’t leave the dirty dishes on the table .不要把脏盘子留在桌子上。

e true实现
play with sb和某人一起玩
14.It is their dream to have a bridge.拥有一座桥是他们的梦想。

For many students, it is easy to get to school.对于许多学生来说,上学是容易的。

结构:“It is +名词+to do sth”, it为形式主语,真正的主语是其后的动词不定式(主语过长时应后置,以避免句子显得头重脚轻)
这样的句型还有It is +形容词(for sb )+to do sth
It is easy for me to learn English well .对我来说,学好英语很容易。

I am busy every day. In the morning ,I have four classes, after lunch, I have three classes in the afternoon. Our school finishes at 5:10.After school, I either do my homework or play the guitar. After dinner ,I take a walk with my parents for an hour. In the evening, I read books, then I go to bed at about 9:30.
This is my busy day, I am very busy ,but I am happy.。
