The Story of the Tortoise and the Hare
Once upon a time, there was a tortoise and a hare who decided to have a race. The hare was very confident in his speed and thought he would easily beat the slow tortoise. On the other hand, the tortoise was determined to prove that slow and steady wins the race.
When the race began, the hare sprinted ahead, leaving the tortoise far behind. The hare was so far ahead that he decided to take a nap under a tree, thinking he had plenty of time to rest before the tortoise caught up.
Meanwhile, the tortoise continued to plod along at a steady pace, never stopping or giving up. Slowly but surely, he made his way towards the finish line.
When the hare woke up from his nap, he was shocked to see the tortoise nearing the finish line. He quickly started running again, but it was too late. The tortoise crossed the finish line first, winning the race.
The moral of the story is that slow and steady wins the race. It doesn't matter how fast you are if you don't have the determination and perseverance to see things through to the end.
