掌握物理学的基本理论与方法、具有良好的数学基础、计算机应用基础、一定的外语水平和基本实验技能;提高科学素养,养成对科学探索的兴趣,训练科学思维方法,具备一定的科学研究能力;具有较扎实的物理学基础,受到应用基础研究、应用研究和技术开发以及工程技术的初步训练,具有工程技术所需的基本知识结构和研究开发能力;适应科学技术发展的需要,有较强的知识更新能力和较广泛的科学技术适应能力以及较强的发展后劲,毕业后能够在物理学或光电子、激光、物理检测等相关科学技术领域中从事科研、教学、技术应用和相关的管理工作,也可攻读物理学或相关学科硕士研究生。

三、课程设置
The curriculum
课程体系由通识教育课程系列、学科基础课程与专业必修系列、专业选修课系列、实践环节(含创新教育)组成。

课程分为必修和选修二大类,课内教学总时数为2458学时,其中必修课为1938学时(占总学时的79%),最低选修课课程时数为520学时(占总学时的21.%)。

必修课程36门,选修课程10门,共计46门。

七、课外学时安排与要求

八、课外活动安排与要求

基本目的是为了扩大学生的知识面,培养学生的分析能力、综合能力、自学能力、实验动手能力与一定的创新能力。
