Ms Wang will be our Chinese teacher.
(2)呈现Let's try图片,看图选出答案。Show the picture of“Let’s try”on the PPT. Let students look and tick.
T:Ms Wang is a new teacher here.Let’s look and tick the right boxes.
T:Ms Wang isa Chinese teacher. The answer isC.Ms Wang will be our new Chinese teacher. (Show the picture of Chen Jie and John)
Write down “will be” on the blackboard. Students read it after the teacher. Explain the meaning of “will be” and give some sentences for students to understand.
b.Ask students to read the two sentences: She is kind. Sometimes she is strict. Then lead students to answer the question “What’s she like?” with “She is kind. Sometimes she is strict.”

Then show the women teachers on the PPT. Explain the difference among“Ms, Mrs, Miss, Mr”.
a. Play the cartoon again. Let students read after it and try to imitate the intonation and the pronunciation of the recording. Then ask students to read together. At last ask students to read freely.
b. Fill in the blanksaccording to thedialogue.
c. Let students dub the dialogue in pairs. Several minutes later, ask some students to act out.
d. Choose the best performers with students and give awards.
