词汇短语:主要采用图片及多媒体展示助记法。
基本句子:采用多媒体展示及交际法(利用多媒体展示两人进行交际时的情景)。
语法:就本单元话题“Future intentions”运用一般将来时谈论未来的打算,表达未来,采用free talk加深印象。
第一课时Section A (1a-1c)
Step 1自主学习

根据句意及首字母或汉语提示完成句子。

设计意图:通过谈论学生未来的职业理想导入课题,激发学生学习本单元的兴趣。同时也可以通过呈现一些关于职业的图片来引导学生谈论自己未来想要从事的职业。
Step 3完成教材1a-1c的任务

B:I want to be a basketball player.
A:How are you going to do that?
B:I'm going to practice basketball every day.
【操作案例】
1.要求学生翻开课本P41,理解1a中职业名词的意思。并按要求完成课本上相应的任务。
T:On Page 41 you will find a box with 12 different jobs.Now you are going to rank the 12 jobs from the most interesting to the least interesting.And after that you shall fall into pairs to talk about the reasons.
2.检查答案。要求全班检查并讨论答案。
3.巩固训练。
4.要求学生听第一遍录音,并完成课本上1b的听力任务。
5.要求学生听第二遍录音,把两个栏目中的短语连线。
6.播放录音,并逐句进行跟读。
7.完成教材1c的任务,并邀请2-3名同学当堂表演。
设计意图:通过学习1a,让学生掌握一些职业名词,了解相关职业的特点。通过1b培养学生的听力技巧,听懂本单元所学习的目标语言。通过1c训练学生的口语表达能力,进一步巩固所学的目标语言。
知识点拨
▲ be going to结构
在英语中,be going to 结构表示人的打算,be going to后接动词原形,be动词随主语的人称变化而变化。另外,be going to还表示一种有迹象的预测。be going to表示根据主观判断要发生的事情,will表示客观上必然要发生的事情。
