本课是一节听说课。
首先让学生观看短剧,通过对short play内容的谈论引出动物话题,复习学生已知的动物以及已学过的句型What’s your favorite...? Why do you like ...? Because ...激活图式,温故引新,铺垫课堂。
再通过熊猫玩具的展示,吸引学生注意力,激发学生对本节课学习的兴趣,自然地导入新课。
让学生在轻松活泼的气氛中投入到学习中。
在导入新课后,通过创设情境,将学生带入动物园,认识更多动物,并运用图文,集中呈现一些常见动物的名称和描述性形容词,让学生认知这些动物并在语境中输入询问对动物喜好的核心句型和重点词汇:Why do you want to see… ? Because they are… 然后请同学玩猜迷游戏,进一步激发学生兴趣。
在熟练掌握基本词汇后,最后再进行句型操练,将词汇贯穿到句型中,以加深学生对词汇句型的熟练掌握程度。
本课是本单元第一课时,在整个单元中起话题导入作用。
内容贴近学生生活,功能句型都是日常用语,课堂任务应该以培养学生的语言实践能力为目标。
二、学情分析经过一个多学期的中学英语学习生活,学生们已经学过由why, where, what 引导的特殊疑问句,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提,加之学生在之前学习过有关动物的知识,已具备了相当的情感基础,。
许多有关动物的图片和游戏能激发他们的好奇心,产生了解它们的强烈欲望,有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。
