Pumpkins are also a symbol of Halloween. The pumpkin is an orange-colored squash, and orange has become the other traditional Halloween color. Carving pumpkins into jack- o-lanterns is a Halloween custom also dating back to Ireland. A legend grew up about a man named Jack who was so stingy that he was not allowed into heaven when he died, because he was a miser. He couldnt enter hell either because he had played jokes on the devil. As a result, Jack had to walk on the earth with his lantern until Judgement Day. So Jack and his lantern became the symbol of a lost or damned soul. To scare these souls away on Halloween, the Irish people carved scary faces out of turnips, beets or potatoes representing Jack of the Lantern, or Jack-o-lantern. When the Irish brought their customs to the United States, they carved faces on pumpkins because in the autumn they were more plentiful than turnips. Today jack-o-lanterns in the windows of a house on Halloween night let costumed children know that there are goodies waiting if they knock and say Trick or Treat!

Each memory is like a few stars shining in the vast universe. Let the dark Taguchi become gorgeous.Halloween is a western festival. The main activity is that children wear strange clothes and go to every house to beg for sugar. This festival is very interesting and makes me yearn for it. However, on Halloween this year, our class will hold a Halloween Costume competition. As soon as I heard the news, I was very excited, but what should I be to make my own clothes? I thought for a while. Finally, I decided to dress up as a witch, start looking for materials from the world, and then started.First, I dug out a lot of wire at home to make wings, forks and tails. I first asked my father to turn the iron wire into the shape of a wing, then connect the iron wire at the opening of the wing, and then use this as a template to make another wing. Becauseyou want to reflect the effect of bones, use a hard body to fix at both ends of the wings. Finally, I began to paste. Because I saw on TV that the people of the LORD were pasting with small paper, so I took a lot of small paper to paste. But I found that it couldn't stick firmly, so I was very anxious: what kind of paper is this? It can't paste firmly at all. It's really annoying! Later, my mother told me to paste it with big paper, so I took a big piece of paper and stuck it on the wire. "Much better." I said to myself. Later, I colored it and made a fork and tail. Then I went to buy Sunglasses and horns and borrowed a windbreaker from my mother. A surge of Joy came to my heart and finally completed it.On Monday, I came to school with an uneasy mood and thought: what if other people's clothes are better than me? But later, Luo was very happy: no one's clothes were as meticulous as me. Although Wu Yuyun's Balloon Man and Wang Qianli's "bathroom curtain pulling male Wizard" were also very good, I was still very different. I had a sense of achievement, and my clothing industry was praised by my classmates. This clothing production and let me move my hands and brain, and let me feel happy. This is the lingering memory.3.关于万圣节的英语作文In western countries, Halloween can be lively. Come again next time!3.关于万圣节的优秀英语作⽂ Today, I participated in the Western Halloween activity held by Nengke English school. In the afternoon, my mother and I came to Nengke English school. As soon as I entered the door, I saw my classmates wearing all kinds of clothes. I was wearing a black Zorro suit, which was very gentlemanly. Then, the teacher gathered us to make up one by one. In this activity, the teacher prepared haunted houses, crossing lines, taking table tennis and so on. One of my favorite projects is catching witches. The rules of the game are: 1. Choose 10 people, 5 as witches and 5 as warriors; 2. The witch must keep shaking her head, and the warrior holds five circles in his hand; 3. If the witch is trapped, then you can't give him a gift. In this game, I and four other people were warriors and five others were witches. At first, I was so happy that I failed to set it four times in a row, but I didn't lose heart. I aimed my eyes at the witch's head and threw it smoothly, "Yeah! Set it in! Set it in!" I screamed excitedly. Other students also cheered for my success. Suddenly, the classroom became a sea of joy. Halloween is so interesting! I'll attend next year!4.关于万圣节的优秀英语作⽂ I went to the Halloween party last weekend. About Halloween, it is said that there is a castle called Dracula's castle, which is real. It is said that there lived a man named Dracula (also a real existence), who died and rose again. Do you know what Dracula food is? I don't know. I'll tell you it's blood! By the way, Dracula is the vampire in Halloween! After dinner, the teachers painted me a very scary makeup. If you were there, you would be scared, too. At 6 o'clock, the party started on time. There were many children painting all kinds of makeup. The teacher divided the children into groups, and I was assigned to group T4. The teacher is the captain and I am the vice captain. Our task this time is to explore Dracula's castle. I'll tell you a secret. It's terrible. The team leader was scared away. We took the jack-o-lantern to Dracula's first room. In this room, we will find and get back the candy robbed by the demons. We searched and searched, and finally found it, but there were demons guarding it. The demons said: how can you take back the candy we robbed? Don't think! We said: you dare to rob our sugar. Give it back to us quickly, or we'll be impolite. We have to make a move. So we shouted together, alsomycandy! Alsomycandy! We fought, and finally we won! In this way, we fought room by room, avoided and defeated one vampire. Many children ran away in fear, because it was terrible. One room was more terrible than another. Two teachers were bitten by vampires, but later we found the antidote and saved them. At last we finished the task. I insisted and didn't run away. Oh, I'm brave!5.关于万圣节的优秀英语作⽂ Day, a seemingly ordinary day, is an important festival in the West - Halloween. Halloween gradually spread to China. As a little reporter of , I participated in the Halloween party held by . Halloween is from a foreign country. Naturally, I have to speak English. I've prepared for this for a long time. In the classroom, the teacher gave me an English name "Carl". Then, the teacher told us the origin of Halloween: in the past, people of a nation in Ireland believed in religion, and their ghosts would come out to scare people on this day. "It's better to start first, and then suffer." they plan to dress up as ghosts first, beat gongs and drums, scare away ghosts, and make ghosts think they are their own kind and won't hurt each other. Later, it spread more and more widely to China. The most interesting thing is to bite apples and ask for sugar. On Halloween, children will play ghosts, scare timid people and force them to hand over candy. "Trick, or treat" means trick or treat. Halloween is full of people and little ghosts. They can't stand making trouble! So I had to give sugar respectfully. It's a little difficult to bite an apple. You don't have to use your hands. Hang the apple high. Whoever eats it wins. I experienced it. It's much more difficult to shake the apple than to hold it in my hand. I can only leave a few tooth marks on it. A minute later, I even slipped and bit off a small piece of fruit, and the muscles on my face were numb with acid. Today, I played such a fun game and learned so much knowledge. It's really meaningful! I'll experience it next time!。

With the genial spring breeze, we ushered in the annual festival - Halloween.Halloween is a traditional western religious festival. At more than 1 o'clock in the afternoon, we put on our masks, put on our clothes, stepped on the neat steps, and walked to the high school playground in the face of the burning sun. Wow!I saw a vast sea of people suddenly came into my eyes, and the football gate beside it seemed to be submerged by the sea of people. When I got to the middle of the crowd, I suddenly realized that I had entered the "hell". All kinds of ghosts, big and small, are floating in front of me. As soon as I turned around, I saw a werewolf, with his mouth open and his long dark teeth showing, looking at me ferociously. Suddenly, someone patted me on the shoulder. I turned around and saw a bloody hand on my shoulder. It turned out to be a demon with silver hair and big head and blue face. What is more frightening is that I saw a pair of black and white impermanence in the activity team of the senior high school on the runway. They took poles and jumped as if they were driving other people's souls to the "hell".After the activity, a new sports game, tug of war, washeld. One side is composed of foreign teachers and the other side is composed of students. The game started, the audience cheered, and the shouting was endless. Finally, the flag of victory flew to the students. The applause from the audience lasted for a long time. The students were even more excited. The happy Halloween is finally over. This activity made me feel the fun of western festivals and made my mind reach a new level.2.学校生万圣节英语作文Halloween has some other significance for our class teacher, because that day is his long-awaited birthday. It is also a long time for the whole class to prepare.A few weeks ago, the monitor invited the teacher to the rest room of the classroom with a "class meeting", intending to surprise the teacher. During the class meeting, the monitor asked what games you would like to play? Would you like a cake or pizza? And send out a questionnaire to see what can be provided? Everyone thought they were ready, but the monitor forgot to remind everyone of one thing: Don't overdo it!On the morning of the birthday, the teacher didn't enter the classroom, so someone was busy arranging the classroom; Some people put water polo on it and throw it at the teacher; Some people are watching out to see when the head teacher will come. It's really busy! The third period is the class of the head teacher, so some people hold buckets full ofwater, some people hold water balloons, and some people hold water guns, waiting for the head teacher to come back. The head teacher is here! "Throw!" At the command of the monitor, dozens of water balls, water columns and buckets of water were thrown at the head teacher, who also picked up the water ball and threw it back. Suddenly, the classroom was full of water. When the water was used up, the teacher who was wet all over the body angrily said, "Who lost my glasses?" Everyone said, "It's not me!" At this time, the rich man in our class, Hongmaocheng, said, "I can use my mobile phone to record it. Let me have a look." "Oh, it's Joe Joe who lost it!" The truth finally came out.Fortunately, the whole class invited the teacher to have cake, pizza and snacks in the afternoon, and the head teacher was also happy to invite the whole class to drink Qilixiang drinks, which almost made the head teacher have a happy birthday and Halloween.Because the monitor forgot to say that if he played too high, the head teacher might get angry, which also taught us a lesson.3.学校生万圣节英语作文Among dozens of festivals in a year, my favorite is Halloween. Eyebrow pencil, lipstick, eye shadow... Then, I began to make up.First draw eyebrows, then apply lipstick, and finally apply blood. halloween英语作文【1】When the harvest moon rises on October 31, little hobgoblins, spooky ghosts, ghoulish witches and gremlins — their young faces hidden behind grotesque masks — will go forth to frighten friends and neighbors and to threaten them with "Trick or Treat ".Halloween (AII Hallows Eve) as the name implies, is a nighttime holiday, the one night in the year when the childs world turns to pure fantasy. Children take all the lead parts while parents and other adults play the supporting roles. Encouraged by teachers and merchants and the remembrance of the good time they had the earlier year, children (from 3 to 11 years old) start preparing their costumes and Halloween decorations weeks ahead. Although parents help the children very much prepare the costumes, on Halloween they must pretend to be frightened by the masked visions that suddenly appear. There will be little witches in longblack dresses with tall-pointed hats and magic broomsticks to carry them over the rooftops — to a neighbors house in the next block. Ghosts in sheets run with tell-tale sneakers and half socks showing; and terrible pirates with skull and cross-bones painted on their three-cornered hats. Some carry jack-o-lanterns but all carry bags or UNICEF boxes marked "Trick or Treat", which fill up very fast.Teenagers have their fun playing tricks that sometimes get rather rough. They throw eggs or tomatoes at passing motorists , mark up windows and windshields with hard-to-erase candle wax, roll pumpkins down long hills, carry away porch furniture and garbage can covers, engrave graffiti on fences, or do whatever bad things occur to them as they go around looking for ways to "let off steam". Police officers are alert but they only arrest those caught doing real damage. In most communities there are school dances or block parties to help redirect the energies of the youthful pranksters. Business firms offer prizes for the best costumes and recreation directors help plan the partyy, but the young people themselves take charge of the entertainment and the decorations — a necessary part of Halloween. Dried corn stalks, pumpkin faces, and piles of apples create the harvest atmosphere; and cutouts of witches on theirbrooms, goblins, ghosts and black cats symbolize the witchcraft aspect of the holiday. The freshments — apple cider, popcorn and pumpkin pie, and witches made of spicy ginger cookies — also carry out both themes. There is an occasional adult Halloween Dance in a bright orange and black setting, with paper-made black cats, witches and grinning skeletons floating above the dance floor. But Halloween has become mainly a young peoples holiday — and the younger the child the more exciting he finds it.halloween英语作文【2】Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern".The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. Every time they come to a new house, they say,"Trick or treat! Money or eat!" The grown-ups put treat-money or candy in their bags. Not only children, but most grown-ups also love Halloween and Halloween parties because on this day, they can disguise themselves as personages or ghost as their imaginations will lead them. This bring them the satisfaction of being young.halloween英语作文【3】About the origin of Halloween, the largest version of the legend, which is originated from the ancient Western European countries before the birth of Christ, including Ireland, Scotland and Welsh. I went to study English with an American girl named Debby as usual. We had 5 students altogether. Before that week, Debby had already told us to learn something about Halloween ourselves. On that day, Debby spent an hour describing this American festival for us, such as “trick or cheat”, pumpkin and even, she took a pumpkin with her. First she took out a finished pumpkin lantern. That was really beautiful and ugly, we liked it so much. Then she taught us how to make a pumpkin lantern by ourselves. We each held a small knife, learnt to cut and draw something on that pumpkin. Finally, we made it and put a short candle into it. That was truly happy. And the most surprising thing was that the lantern was a present for that day’s super student. Who will that be? My god! That was me!Do you know how excited I was then? I held it, jumping and shouting. That was the most unforgettable day to me. AndI will not forget it, never!翻译:过去的日子过去了,我已不再是个孩子了。

1.万圣节初中英语作文Hearing the news that the school will organize Halloween activities, I was so excited that I couldn't express myself in words! By the way, how can we lack pumpkin lanterns in Halloween activities! I have to make one, too!Just do it. My mother bought a pumpkin from the store. We cut and cut it, dug and dug, and finally hollowed out the pumpkin. Well, we dug several holes in the skin of the pumpkin to make eyes and mouth. My mother also made a hat for it!When I brought the pumpkin lantern to school, it immediately attracted widespread attention, because my pumpkin lantern was based on a game character called "coolie fear". Look at other people's pumpkin lanterns, some grinning, some smiling, and even laughing. The materials used are also different. Some are not pumpkins! Grapefruit, watermelon, radish and orange. T o be honest, I really admire some people's handicrafts. At noon, the real Carnival finally began. The students were wearing all kinds of Halloween costumes, wizard hats, black robes, ghost masks, and some people were still holding magic wands! It's kind of like the devil in the lower world. There are many games on site, such as setting a circle and throwing notes. You can join only with game vouchers! (people who make pumpkin lanterns and tabloids can get game tickets) ah, isn't that Liu Zheng in our class! He's throwing notes! He was covered with sticky notes. He shook left and right, jumped up and down, and finally fell down. Half a minute passed, but he still had more than half of the notepaper on him! No way, he had to "dance", this "fiery dance". It made us all laugh! Time out! Well, there are five notes left on Liu Zheng! They had such a good time that I had to use up the game tickets. Go and draw a face. As a result, I was painted as a clown! The left eye has love, the right eye has stars, and more importantly, there are two left-handed beards! Everyone couldn't help laughing at my appearance. I also asked for candy, a lollipop!Time passed quickly, the carnival soon ended, and we reluctantly left the playground. This activity also let me experience the atmosphere of Halloween and understand the customs of Halloween. I really look forward to the next activity!2.万圣节初中英语作文Today is October XX, Halloween in western countries, that is, ghost festival. In this festival, people have to dress up in all kinds of ways, including ghosts, princesses, ox demon kings, little witches and so on. It is through celebrations to drive away ghosts and bless peace. Whenever Halloween comes, children will wear colorful clothes and strange masks to change candy from door to door, and say, "make trouble if you don't give candy!" the following is the story of my participation in a Halloween activity. Please listen to me quickly!I knew the English school had Halloween today. After a long discussion with my mother, I decided to dress up as a little princess to participate in the activity. As soon as I entered the door of Rex English, alas, it changed! The wall is covered with terrible spider webs, black branches, and, of course, pumpkin lanterns on the table. These are the symbols of Halloween. In the corridor, the children are dressed in different looks. I can't recognize them! Into my classroom, it has changed! The door ofthe classroom was pasted with black paper. On the black paper, there were several bats. The original "a, B, C" has disappeared and has become a pumpkin lantern. Various models of pumpkin lanterns are hung on the ceiling. It seems that the preparations for Halloween are ready. This year's Halloween activity is a group of games, which is to break through different classrooms. Our group is the first to break through. After listening to the teacher's arrangement, my heart pounded and thought: will there be a "ghost" hidden in the classroom to frighten people like last year. When I was uneasy, the teacher announced the rules of the game. The first classroom is coin tossing! Whoever throws in a coin gets a candy. The second classroom is to grab chairs; The third classroom is guessing, specifically "the group leader depicts an object, and the group members guess what it is"; The fourth classroom is for teachers to say words. Children find out the words, and then take out the candy behind the words; The fifth is manual. We've been crazy all morning.Today's activity is very good. I not only played well, but also learned Halloween knowledge and English related to Halloween. I'm very happy!3.万圣节初中英语作文Halloween is coming. I'm very interested in this western festival.Last Friday, someone sent a message to my mobile phone, saying, "sister, I'm going to happy valley today, and there's an activity tonight. Brother." I think it's very strange. I've never been to happy valley. Can happy valley open every night? Something's wrong. I replied: "there are activities in Happy Valley tonight? What activities?" "there's so much nonsense. You must go toHappy Valley at six o'clock tonight. Do you want to know what activities? Just look at Happy Valley! If you don't go, you'd better not come!" my brother sent a message to me. I read the information and felt a little indignant! I think I'd better go! I looked at the station sign as I walked. After three rounds, I still don't know this ghost place. It's already 4:30 when I look at my mobile phone. I asked passers-by, "how can I get to Happy Valley?" my aunt told me that No. 41 can get to Happy Valley and helped me find the sign of No. 41 station. Here comes the bus. I quickly get on the bus and go to happy valley.I'm in trouble on the road. There's a traffic jam. It's really annoying! I was so worried that there was a new message on my mobile phone: "sister, why didn't you come? Don't you want to go? The activity is about to start, and I can't enter for a while!" I replied: "I'm in trouble, there's a traffic jam, and I'll be there in ten minutes! Wait for me!" I saw the time, it's 5:30! I was worried again. Thirty minutes later, the blocked car finally withdrew. To Happy Valley, see Baidu logo. I hurried to find my brother and saw my brother, second uncle and old aunt. My brother said, "it's so late! Idiot!" I opened my eyes and said, "hum!" my brother stuffed me with a terrible mask, "hum what? Hum? Put on the mask!" I was shocked and I understood! So this is Halloween! This is the first time I have participated in Halloween since I was a child. I'm happy. We entered the happy valley. It was fun at night.I haven't seen Happy Valley. There used to be such a big place. It's becoming more and more fun. Everyone in Happy Valley wears special clothes and terrible masks to frighten and joke with tourists. The happy scene of Halloween made me forget the unhappiness in front of me. I felt very interesting and wonderful! I'm interested in this thing.Halloween is so crazy! I like Halloween very much!。
