We have the most delicious Cantonese cuisine here with dishes like wonton noodle soup, char siu (barbecue pork), andbite-sized dim sum like shumai. Dongguan is also famous for its fresh seafood since we're not too far from the ocean. My grandma makes the tastiest salted fish and shrimp omelets. Yum!Now that I've told you about my awesome hometown, let me share my big dream and what I'm excited about for the future. Ever since I was a little kid, I've wanted to be an astronaut and travel to space! I'm completely fascinated by planets, stars, black holes, and everything in the night sky. I have telescopesand books about astronomy at home and I've even been to real observatories to look through powerful telescopes in person. When I was 6 years old, my parents took me to Hong Kong Disneyland and I went on the Space Mountain roller coaster ride. It was a simulation of blasting off in a rocket ship and doing loops and spins while zooming through the galaxy. That ride made me fall in love with the idea of space travel! From then on, I knew I wanted to be among the first people to travel to Mars or even farther out in our solar system.I'm working really hard in school, especially in math and science classes, so that I can get into a great university one day. I want to study astrophysics, aerospace engineering, or something related so I can develop the skills to become an astronaut. It will take a lot of effort, but I'm determined to make it happen!Just imagining walking on the surface of Mars or looking back at Earth from space makes me shiver with excitement. Can you picture how amazing that view would be? The Earth just hanging there in the blackness of space, a beautiful blue and green marble? Wow! I get chills just thinking about it. That's my ultimate dream - to see our home planet from the perspective of deep space one day.Of course, I know there are a lot of challenges and dangers involved with space exploration too. Launching rockets, dealing with extreme conditions like zero gravity, radiation exposure, supply issues, and so much more. It's a very risky career path. But I'm prepared to work tremendously hard, stay dedicated, and hopefully get the incredible opportunity to be part of future space missions.Exploring space is crucial for advancing human knowledge, technological progress, and maybe even discovering evidence that we're not alone in this vast universe. Those mysteries and possibilities are a huge part of why I find space so fascinating. I want to be one of the people making new discoveries out there! In the meantime before I can become an astronaut, I'm looking forward to watching the development of new rockets, spacecraft, satellites, and space stations. The Mars rover missions have been so cool, seeing the pictures and data they beam back from the Red Planet. I can't wait to see where space programs go next - maybe establishing a base on the Moon or sending probes to explore the moons of Saturn and Jupiter? So much amazing stuff to look forward to!Another thing I'm really eager for is the continuation of private space companies like SpaceX. Having more organizationsworking on space travel could lead to faster innovation and cheaper opportunities for regular people to go to space one day too. How neat would it be to take a vacation flight into orbit and experience weightlessness? Maybe by the time I'm an adult, space tourism will be an actual thing! I'd love to save up and go on a space adventure as a treat after becoming an astronaut myself.Well, those are my big dreams and hopes for the future - becoming an astronaut and space explorer after growing up in my beloved hometown of Dongguan. I have so much passion for learning about the cosmos and I'm going to pour all my energy into making that dream a reality. Wish me luck! I'll do my best to make Dongguan proud by being part of humanity's next adventures among the stars and galaxies. The sky is definitely not the limit for me!篇2My Hometown Dongguan and My Big DreamsHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in a really cool city called Dongguan in Guangdong Province, China. Dongguan is famous for making lots of toys, shoes, and clothesthat get sold all over the world! There are big factories everywhere you look.My dad works in one of the electronics factories. He helps make computers and phones that people use. My mom works at a shoe factory assembling sneakers. They both work really hard but I'm proud of them.Even though there are tons of factories in Dongguan, there are still lots of fun places for kids like me. My favorite is the Dongguan Science and Technology Museum. It's this huge museum with all kinds of amazing exhibits about science, space, dinosaurs, you name it! They have a gigantic dinosaur skeleton and a mockup of the International Space Station. I love going there on field trips with my class. There's also a really nice park called Guancheng Park right near my apartment building. It has beautiful gardens, little rivers and ponds with ducks swimming around, and even an amusement park area with a big Ferris wheel! In the summers my friends and I have picnics there and fly kites. It's the best.Of course, no place is perfect. Sometimes the air in Dongguan can get pretty smoggy from all the factories. And the traffic is absolutely crazy with all the trucks and cars on the roads. But I still love my hometown a whole lot.As for my dreams for the future, I have so many! First of all, I really want to become a scientist when I grow up. Maybe a chemist who discovers new materials or an astronomer who studies far-off galaxies. Science is my favorite subject in school because I'm super curious to learn about how things work and make new discoveries.I'm also really interested in protecting the environment and making the world a greener, cleaner place. With all the factories in Dongguan, pollution is a big problem. I want to find ways to reduce waste and smog so cities can have fresh air. Maybe I'll invent some new environmentally-friendly technology!Another one of my big dreams is to travel everywhere around the world. I want to see places like the Egyptian pyramids, the Amazon rainforest, and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. And of course, I'd love to go to space and walk on the moon someday! How cool would that be?I know achieving my dreams won't be easy. I'll have to study really hard in school, especially science and math. But I'm determined to work as hard as I can to make my dreams come true. With the support of my family and teachers, I know I can do it!I also hope that by the time I'm an adult, the world will be a more peaceful and fair place for everyone. It makes me sad to see wars, poverty, and injustice happening, even in my young life so far. My dream is for all people to have enough food, clean water, homes, and opportunities no matter where they live or what they look like.Well, those are some of my dreams and thoughts about my hometown of Dongguan! Even though it's just a small industrial city, it's my home and I love it. And no matter how far I travel or what I end up doing, Dongguan will always have a special place in my heart. I have big goals and I won't stop until I achieve them!篇3My Awesome Hometown and Big DreamsHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in an amazing city called Dongguan in southern China. Let me tell you all about my cool hometown and the huge dreams I have for the future!Dongguan is in Guangdong Province, not too far from the big cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen. It's a pretty modern place with tons of tall buildings and busy streets. But it also has someolder traditional neighborhoods which I love exploring with my friends. We ride our bikes around the little alleyways and check out all the yummy street food stands.Speaking of food, the cuisine in Dongguan is just the best! We've got so many delicious dishes like wonton noodles, steamed milk puddings, and my absolute favorite - gongbao chicken. That's a spicy stir-fry with chicken, peanuts, and veggies. Whenever my grandma makes it, the whole house smells amazing. We also have lots of different barbecue places that grill up super tasty meats and seafood. As for fun stuff to do, Dongguan has huge parks with playgrounds, lakes for boating, and open spaces for flying kites. There are museums about our city's history and culture too. And we can always take the train to nearby Guangzhou to visit their famous zoos, gardens, and temples on the weekends. But what I love most about Dongguan is the people. Everyone is so friendly and there's a real sense of community. During holidays like Chinese New Year, the streets are beautifully decorated and filled with festival stalls selling snacks and lucky charms. Our neighborhood gets together for amazing feasts and fireworks shows. It's the best!Of course, as great as Dongguan is, I have huge dreams for my future that stretch way beyond this city. You see, I absolutely love science and hope to become an inventor when I grow up. I'm constantly tinkering with gadgets and trying to improve how things work.My biggest goal is to create environmental technologies that can help make our planet greener and cleaner. Things like better solar panels, cheaper electric cars, and smarter recycling systems.I really want to contribute solutions for issues like air pollution and climate change before they get even worse.I'm already starting on some of my first inventions! Just last month, I made a little windmill model that can power a small light using just the wind. It's not much now, but I'm going to keep working on bigger and better designs for wind turbines and renewable energy over the years.I hope I can take my creations to the next level by getting trained at a top university abroad, maybe in the United States or the United Kingdom. Those countries have such impressive science and engineering programs. Can you imagine how cool it would be to study at a place like MIT or Cambridge? Getting an excellent education will really help me achieve my inventor dreams. After getting super smart at university, I'd love to start up my own environmental tech company. We'll hire other inventors and scientists to team up on developing all sorts of green inventions. Just picture a world with fresher air, cleaner water, more trees and parks, and way less pollution. That's exactly what I want to create through my innovations.Even if the journey is long and tough, I'm going to work really hard and never give up on my goals. After all, wasn't Albert Einstein just a regular kid at one point? If he could revolutionize physics with his brilliant theories, then surely I can make the world a greener place with my inventions and ideas! I just need to stay focused, keep learning, and follow my passions. Those are my biggest hopes for the years ahead - to contribute planet-saving inventions while still being able to visit my amazing hometown of Dongguan often. I'll always have so much love for the tasty foods, fun festivals, and warm community spirit here. Dongguan will forever be my roots, even as I branch out to chase my worldwide environmental dreams.I can't wait to see what the future holds! But with determination and my creative thinking cap on, I know I'll be able to make the world a little bit better through science and my green tech inventions. Just you wait and see - that kid inventorXiaoming is going to go on to do some truly awesome things. The future is looking very bright!篇4My Hometown Dongguan and My Big DreamsHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 10-year-old boy from the city of Dongguan in Guangdong Province, China. Today I want to tell you all about my awesome hometown and what big dreams I have for the future!Dongguan is a really cool place. It's not quite as huge as the massive cities of Beijing or Shanghai, but it's still a major city with around 8 million people living there. It's located in central Guangdong, not too far from Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Lots of factories and businesses have operations in Dongguan making it a pretty rich city.Even though Dongguan is known for manufacturing, it actually has a long history going back over 800 years to the Song Dynasty era. There are some ancient buildings, temples and villages that have been preserved from those olden times. My favourite is the Opium War Museum that teaches about Dongguan's role in the Opium Wars against the British way backin the 1800s. Those wars were pivotal moments in modern Chinese history. What I really love most about Dongguan though is all the awesome foods we have! Being from Guangdong, we basically invented dim sum and have the most delicious dim sum restaurants around. My family always takes me for yum cha (dim sum brunch) on Sunday mornings to eat steamed dumplings, barbecue pork buns, egg tarts and more. It's my favourite meal of the week! We've also got loads of other great Cantonese dishes like roasted goose, beef ho fun noodles, wonton noodle soup and crispy pork belly. I could eat Cantonese food every single day and never get bored! Sometimes I even dream about swimming in a pool filled with wonton soup...that's how much I love my hometown's cuisine.Dongguan is developing rapidly too and getting more modern every year. The public transit system is being expanded with new metro lines being built to connect all the different areas. Snazzy new shopping malls and residential towers are going up throughout the city. We even have a convention center that hosts big exhibitions and events now. With all this growth though, the government is definitely focused on sustainability and going green as well. Parks, forests and greenbelts are being created and protected. Measures are in place to cut pollution from factories. Streets and neighborhoods are being redesigned to be walk-able and bike-friendly instead of just filled with cars. It's pretty awesome to see my hometown trying to be an eco-city for the future.Speaking of the future, that brings me to my biggest dream - I want to be an astronaut when I grow up! Ever since I was a little kid, I've been obsessed with outer space. I love reading books about planets, stars, black holes, you name it. I've seen pretty much every documentary ever made about space exploration. In my room, I have posters of the cosmos, models of the solar system and rocket ships, and a huge telescope I use to gaze at the night sky. I'm actually starting to teach myself about coding and robotics too since that's going to be a crucial skill for future space missions. I'll need to be a total science and tech whiz to achieve my dream job!Can you imagine how totally awesome it would be to pilot a spacecraft and fly out beyond Earth's orbit? Or even crazier - to be one of the first human beings to set foot on Mars?? I get chills just thinking about it. Exploring distant planets and galaxies, making ground-breaking discoveries about the origins of the universe...that's the ultimate dream for me.Of course, I know becoming an astronaut won't be easy. The competition is extremely intense and only a tiny fraction of applicants get selected by the rapidly growing Chinese space program. I'll need to study harder than anyone, stay dedicated through years of intense training, and be in absolute peak physical condition. It will take more hard work and perseverance than I can even imagine right now.But I'm confident that if I stay focused and pour all my effort into making this dream a reality, I can make it happen. With the full support of my family, teachers and Dongguan community behind me, I'll have everything I need to shoot for the stars - literally! In the meantime though, I'm just trying to be a normal happy kid. I love playing basketball, video games and hanging out with my friends as much as the next 10-year-old. School is decent too, even though I definitely find math and science classes way more interesting than stuff like history and literature.I feel like all the fundamental knowledge I'm gaining now is gradually preparing me for the advanced physics, engineering篇5My Hometown Dongguan and My Big DreamsHi there! My name is Li Ming and I'm 10 years old. I was born and raised in the city of Dongguan in Guangdong Province, China. Dongguan is my beloved hometown and I'm really proud of where I'm from. Let me tell you all about this amazing place!Dongguan used to be a small town, but now it's a huge and modern city with over 8 million people living there. It's located in southern China, not too far from big cities like Shenzhen and Guangzhou. The weather is always warm and sunny, which I love. We don't really have winter, just a slightly cooler season. My favorite thing about Dongguan is all the delicious food! We have the yummiest dishes like Dongchuan noodles, wonton soup, roasted goose, and lots of fresh seafood since we're not too far from the ocean. There are restaurants and street food vendors everywhere selling affordable and tasty snacks and meals. I love getting freshly grilled skewers or hot crispy egg waffles from the street carts after school. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!Dongguan is known for manufacturing and technology, with huge factories for companies like Apple, Samsung, and Hondahere. My dad actually works at an electronics factory. Because of all the factories and businesses, our city is always growing and changing with new buildings, roads, parks and shopping malls popping up everywhere. It's such an exciting and vibrant place!Although it's highly developed now, Dongguan still has pretty natural areas too. There are scenic mountains, rivers, forests and gardens that are nice to visit and explore. One of my favorite places is Guanyin Mountain where there are amazing views, hiking trails, temples and even a super tall statue of the Buddhist goddess Guanyin. It's a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.Another cool thing about Dongguan is all the fun activities and attractions here. We have huge malls and plazas with movies, arcades, playgrounds and endless shops and restaurants. There are also amusement parks with roller coasters and themed areas.I love going to the indoor ski slope at Dongguan Ski Park - you can actually ski on real snow all year round! How neat is that? For sports fans like me, we have great facilities for basketball, soccer, swimming and more.As I mentioned, my city is changing so rapidly and modernizing at lightning speed. Sadly, this means some of the older, historical areas and cultural traditions are fading away. Ihope we can still find ways to preserve our heritage and keep our unique Dongguan identity despite becoming more globalised and contemporary. After all, where we came from helped shape who we are today.Speaking of the future, I have so many big dreams for what lies ahead! My biggest goal is to become a professional basketball player when I grow up. I'm already the tallest kid in my class and a total pro at dribbling and shooting hoops. I never miss practice and I'm always working on my skills. My idol is Yao Ming, who was also born in Guangdong like me before making it to the NBA in America. How cool would it be to follow in his footsteps? I'm going to train harder than anyone to make my basketball dream a reality. But becoming a famous athlete isn't my only aspiration. I also hope to start my own business someday like many other hard-working and entrepreneurial people in Dongguan have done. I'm not sure what kind of company I'll launch yet, but I have a million crazy ideas running through my head! Maybe I'll create a new app, invent some awesome new tech product, or market fun sports and outdoors equipment for kids. Whatever it is, I want to be my own boss and put the skills of creativity, leadership and determination that I'm learning now to good use.Another dream of mine is to travel the world! Dongguan may be an international hub for manufacturing, trade and business, but there's still so much of the globe I haven't experienced yet. I want to visit every continent and learn about all the diverse cultures, languages, foods and sights out there. How fascinating it would be to go on an African safari, explore ancient ruins in South America, or see the Northern Lights in Scandinavia! The world is so vast and I'm eager to soak it all in.No matter how far I go though, Dongguan will always be my roots and my first true home. This city gave me the foundation to dream big and achieve great things in life. The values of hard work, perseverance and ambition are ingrained in our culture here. At the same time, Dongguan's rapid development shows me that change and innovation are possible when you're determined enough. Nothing is impossible as long as you set your mind to it!I hope I've given you a little window into the amazing place I grew up in and the hopes and aspirations I have for the future. Dongguan will always be close to my heart no matter where life takes me. But I'm going to use the lessons and spirit of my hometown to accomplish outstanding things and see if my dreams of athletics, entrepreneurship and world explorationcome true. The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to take that first big leap! For now though, it's back to studying, practicing basketball, and enjoying my youthful years in my beloved Dongguan.。

怎样用英语介绍东莞的自然风光作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Describe Dongguan's Natural Beauty in EnglishMy hometown Dongguan is a beautiful city in Guangdong Province, China. It has so many amazing natural sights that I love telling my friends about them in English!First, let me tell you about the mountains in Dongguan. There are many tall hills and peaks covered in lush, green forests. My favorite is Xiqiao Mountain. It's the tallest mountain around at over 900 meters high! From the top, you can see forever - the view stretches across cities, farmlands, rivers, and more mountains in the distance. Hiking up Xiqiao is tough but so worth it.Climbing isn't the only fun outdoor activity. Lots of rivers flow through Dongguan, perfect for all kinds of water sports and recreation. The biggest is the Dongjiang River, winding over 500 kilometers through our province. I've gone kayaking and swimming in its cool, clean waters many times. Neat bridges cross over it too, like the huge cable-stayed Dongguan Bridge.Speaking of rivers, that means we have lots of lakes in Dongguan as well. Hulian Lake is one of the biggest and most scenic. On summer days, people flock there to rent little boats, relax on the grassy shores, or go fishing. Kids can catch tiny fish and turtles with nets! The lotus flowers blooming on the lake's surface are beautiful shades of pink and white. Some parks have amazing manmade gardens too. Keyuan Garden is filled with ponds, rockeries, pavilions, and intricate old architecture. The bonsai trees there must be hundreds of years old, all gnarled and twisted into amazing miniature shapes. Crisscrossing bridges stretch over the waters where colorful koi fish glide around. It's like a real-life ancient Chinese painting! One of my favorite spots is Wanjiang Sizhou, a scenic area split into four man-made islets in the river. Strolling over the zigzag bridges connecting them, you're surrounded by lush bamboo forests, blossoming flowers, and pagoda towers on every side. The garden designs draw inspiration from landscape paintings of the Song Dynasty. So peaceful and pretty!Another highlight is Guanyin Mountain, an enormous bald rock dome that looks like a touchstone balancing on its point. Buddhist temples and monasteries are carved into the mountain itself, with shrines, statues, and coiling walkways all over. At thevery top sits a massive gold Guanyin statue keeping watch. Visiting feels like stepping into a mythical realm. And I can't forget the national parks! Dongguan has an abundance of diverse biodiverse wetlands and nature reserves. Shawan Country Park has meadows, lakes, and marshes that are home to over 160 species of birds. I've spotted herons, egrets, geese, and migrating flocks of swans on field trips there. Hiking the raised wood trails through the reeds and grasses is always an adventure. The Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center at Donghu Forest Park lets you see cute pandas, cheeky monkeys, elegant deer, and other rescued animals up close. The park has winding footpaths through a dense bamboo forest too. Spotting monkeys swinging through the greenery never gets old!Honestly, Dongguan's natural beauty blows me away more every day. Sure, we may be an industrial city known for making toys and shoes. But we also have magnificent mountains, shimmering lakes, serene gardens, important conservation areas, and more natural sights packed into our little corner of the map.I feel so lucky to grow up admiring these landscapes! Hopefully, this essay inspires you to come witness Dongguan's naturalsplendor yourself someday. Maybe I'll spot you kayaking on the river or hiking the peaks - just be sure to greet me in English!篇2My Hometown Dongguan Has Awesome Nature!Hi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in a really cool city called Dongguan in Guangdong Province, China. Today I want to tell you all about the beautiful natural places we have in Dongguan. Get ready to learn some English words too!First up is the Dongguan Neilingding Island Forestry Park. It's a huge park with tons of big trees everywhere! There are hiking trails you can walk on that go all through the forest. Sometimes you see little animals like squirrels or birds. My favorite are the bright red birds called fenghuang that look like phoenixes. The best part is the beach area - you can swim in the lake or build sandcastles. Last time I was there I made the biggest sandcastle ever and played in the water until I was soaking wet! It's the perfect place to get some fresh air and have fun.Next is Guanyin Mountain, one of the biggest scenic areas in Dongguan. It's named after an important Buddhist goddess. The mountain is over 800 meters high which is really really tall! Thereare Buddhist temples and pagodas all over the mountain that you can visit and learn about. They are so pretty and colorful. My dad says some of them are hundreds of years old. At the top of Guanyin Mountain you get an incredible view of the entire city below. Just be careful because there are also dangerous cliffs! One time I saw an wild monkey up there which was both scary and amazing. Then there are the Dongguan Wetland Parks, which are my mom's favorite place. Wetlands are areas with shallow water and lots of plants and animals living there. The biggest one is Huaying Wetland Park. You can take a little boat ride around the lake and see birds like herons, egrets, and storks wading in the water looking for fish. There's also Chunfen Wetland Park which has boardwalks so you can walk right over the wetlands and see everything up close. I like watching the dragonflies and butterflies hovering over the lotus flowers. The wetlands always smell so fresh and natural.Another awesome nature spot is Shilinguang Village in Qingxi Town. This isn't a park but an actual historic village from a long time ago. It's completely surrounded by bamboo forests, rivers, and farmlands. Walking down the little stone paths in the village makes you feel like you've gone back in time hundreds ofyears! The best part is they cook food using the bamboo over fire pits just like ancient times. I had some bamboo rice there that was so yummy and smoky tasting. The village is the perfect place to disconnect from the city and appreciate simple country living. Are you getting hungry from me describing all this nature? Don't worry, there are tons of farms in Dongguan too where you can go pick fresh fruits and veggies. I love going strawberry picking at the end of winter. You walk up and down the rows of strawberry plants looking for the reddest, ripest ones. The farms also grow stuff like mangoes, lychees, pineapples, and longans when it's hot out. Nothing beats biting into a fresh, juicy Dongguan-grown fruit! That's not even all of the natural scenery we've got here. There are also beautiful flower fields, fishing lakes, rivers good for rafting, and even hills to go camping on. I feel so lucky to be able to experience all of these amazing outdoor places in my hometown. What place would you most want to visit? Hopefully you can come see the natural wonders of Dongguan for yourself one day! Just look for the 10-year-old Dongguan nature expert to be your tour guide.篇3My City Dongguan Has Amazing Nature!Hi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in the city of Dongguan in Guangdong Province, China. Today I want to tell you all about the beautiful natural sights in my city using my English skills. Get ready to be wowed!First, let me tell you about one of the most famous natural wonders near Dongguan - Xiqiao Mountain National Forest Park. This huge park has so many cool things! There are tall mountains covered in green trees and plants. Hiking up the mountains is tiring but the views from the top are breathtaking. You can see forever! My favorite part is the waterfalls though. Listening to the water crashing down and feeling the mist on my face is so refreshing on a hot day. The park has several pretty waterfalls like Celestial Falls and Seven-Breasted Falls. How awesome are those names? My class took a field trip there and it was epic.Another amazing nature spot is Lychee Bay Scenic Area. It's right on the coast of the South China Sea and has beaches, cliffs, islands, and more! The sand on the beaches is golden and soft between your toes. You can go swimming in the blue-green ocean waves which is my favorite activity. Just be careful of the strong currents. One time I even saw a few cute little crabs scuttling along the shoreline! The best part though are thelychee trees all over the area's hills and valleys. During lychee season in May and June the air smells unbelievably sweet and delicious from all the ripe lychee fruit. Yum!Not too far from Lychee Bay is Opium War Memorial Park on one of the outlying Dongguan islands. Even though it has an unfortunate name from history, the park itself is serene and lovely. There are quiet forest trails to explore, little coves and inlets to check out, and awesome rock formations along the coast. I especially love the areas where the waves have carved arches and tunnels through the cliffs that you can walk under. It's like being in a magical cave! Just watch out for high tide so you don't get trapped. My parents always make sure to check the tide charts first.Speaking of islands, have you heard of the Wanjiang Archway Islands? This is a group of small rocky islands that have had amazing archways and tunnels carved through them naturally by the sea over millions of years. From certain angles it looks like the arches are holding up the sky! During low tide you can actually walk across to explore some of the islands and archways up close. Just don't touch any of the plants or animals since it's a protected area. I tried squeezing through one of the smaller tunnels once and got stuck for a little bit until my dadpulled me out. It was scary but also kinda funny! The islands make a gorgeous picture, especially at sunrise and sunset.Closer to downtown Dongguan is Guancheng Nature Reserve, my favorite park to visit on weekends with my family. It has pretty much any natural habitat you can imagine! There are dense bamboo forests, winding rivers and streams, grassy meadows, and craggy mountains all packed into one area. Hiking along the trails you might spot all kinds of cool birds like egrets, herons, and kingfishers. I've even seen little bunny rabbits and deer a few times! My absolute favorite animals that live in the reserve though are the gecko lizards. They're so funny looking with their big bulgy eyes and sticky toes. One time I tried catching one to keep as a pet but it got away. My mom said that was a good thing since they belong in nature. There are so many other awesome nature places around Dongguan that I could go on and on. But I'll stop here so you can go experience them for yourself! Maybe I'll see you hiking one of the scenic trails or exploring the beaches. Just look for the kid speaking perfect English and saying hi to all the geckos. That will be me! Nature is incredibly beautiful in my city. I feel so lucky to have all of these amazing natural areas right in my backyard. Thanks for reading, goodbye!篇4My Hometown's Beautiful Nature: DongguanHi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm from a city called Dongguan in southern China. Dongguan has so many pretty natural places that I want to tell you all about them in English! One of my favorite spots is Huayang Lake. It's a huge lake right in the middle of the city with an island inside it! The island has gardens with colorful flowers, winding paths to walk on, and even an amusement park. My friends and I love renting little boats and rowing around the lake. Sometimes we see ducks swimming or people fishing. The lake has fountains that shoot water high into the air which looks really cool, especially at night when they have lights shining on them. Around the lake there are also parks with playgrounds that my little brother likes.Another amazing place is Qifeng Park up in the mountains. It feels like you've stepped into an ancient Chinese painting when you're there! The park has lots of old temples, caves, waterfalls, and hiking trails winding through the misty peaks. One of the temples is called the Palace of Eternal Peace and it's over 1,000 years old. You can stay overnight in rustic cabins and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. My grandpa says the fresh mountainair is good for your health and resting your mind. I think he's right - it's so quiet and peaceful up there compared to the busy city.Something else that's really fun is the Dongguan Botanical Garden. It's this enormous park filled with every kind of plant and tree you can imagine from all over China and the world! There are bamboo forests, rose gardens, bonsai trees, and even a desert area with cacti. My favorite section is the greenhouse with tropical plants like huge leaves, colorful flowers, and hanging vines. It feels like you've traveled to the rainforest! The garden also has mazes made out of hedges that me and my cousins race through to see who can find the exit first.I also have to tell you about Guancheng, which is this old historic area with a city wall and gates from centuries ago. They've restored and rebuilt a lot of the ancient buildings with traditional architecture like courtyards and sloped roofs. When you walk through the Guancheng streets, it transports you back in time to dynastic China! There are vendors selling yummy snacks, shops for handicrafts like pottery and calligraphy, and performances of classic operas and music. I got to try on fancy imperial clothes for a photo once which was awesome. Our region is well-known for nature preserves and national parks too. Hubiao Villa was originally built as a private garden estate but now people can visit and see the beautiful ponds, pavilions, bridges, and rockeries. Wuchuan Village is this forested mountain valley with wooden houses built along its streams and rivers. I went hiking there last year and saw wild monkeys swinging from tree to tree! How cool is that?I feel so lucky to live in Dongguan where I'm surrounded by gorgeous natural scenery and incredible historic sites. From the peaceful lakes to the misty mountains, lush botanical gardens to centuries-old architecture, there's so much beauty to experience here. Dongguan has preserved its cultural heritage while also being a modern, thriving city.I encourage you all to come visit my hometown someday if you can! You'll get to see China's stunning landscapes with your own eyes. I'd be happy to show you around and point out all the best spots. Just don't be surprised if I slip in some Chinese words here and there - speaking English is still pretty new for me. But I tried my best to tell you all about Dongguan's amazing nature in this essay. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇5My Hometown Dongguan Has Amazing Nature!Hi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all about the awesome nature in my hometown Dongguan. Dongguan is a city in Guangdong Province in southern China. Even though it's a big city with over 8 million people, it still has so many pretty parks, mountains, rivers and other cool natural places to explore. Let me take you on a tour!First up, we have the Dongguan Neilingding Island Scenic Area. This is a huge island right in the middle of the Pearl River that runs through our city. You can take a boat there and it's like being in a jungle paradise! There are tons of tall trees, colorful flowers, butterflies fluttering around, and cute little animals like squirrels and birds. My favorite things are the waterfalls that come tumbling down over big rocks. You can go swimming in the pools at the bottom too when it's hot out. It feels like you're in an adventure movie exploring a secret tropical island!Another amazing nature spot near my home is Xiayunshan Forest Park. This place has everything - towering green mountains, winding hiking trails, peaceful lakes, and endless trees as far as you can see. Once I saw a huge lizard there sunbathing on a rock! My dad says it was a monitor lizard and totally safe, but it still looked like a dinosaur to me. The best partis the fresh, clean air that comes from all the plants. It's way better than the air in the city where cars and factories make it dirty sometimes. If you love flowers, then you have to go to the Dongguan Botanical Garden. This huge park has more flowers than you could ever imagine! There are fields of brightly colored ones like roses, sunflowers, daffodils and tulips. And there are also tons of plants and trees from all over the world, like bamboo forests, cactus gardens, and tropical sections that feel like rainforests. Once a year they have an incredible Flower Expo where the whole place is decorated with millions of fresh flowers made into sculptures, arches, even whole buildings! It's breathtakingly beautiful and smells so sweet. For a super fun nature adventure, you should try hiking up Xielingfeng Mountain. It's pretty tall at over 900 meters high! The trails wind through dense bamboo forests with monkeys chattering in the trees overhead. The higher you go, the more amazing views you get over Dongguan and even the ocean in the distance! At the very peak there are some old Buddhist temples built into the mountain that are super cool to explore. Just watch out for the mischievous monkeys who might try to steal your snacks!I've saved the best for last - the Fenxian River Ecological Corridor. This 25 kilometer long park follows the main river that cuts through the heart of Dongguan. Along both sides are walking and biking paths lined with willow trees, gardens, playgrounds, and picnic areas. On the actual river you can rent a little boat or bamboo raft and paddle along looking at the fish, birds, and other wildlife in the clean water. My grandpa says the river used to be dirty and polluted, but now they've worked hard to clean it up and protect this nature area for everyone to enjoy. I think it's the best spot to escape the noise of the city and relax surrounded by nature! So as you can see, even though Dongguan is a major city, we still have incredible natural scenery all around if you know where to look. From jungle islands and misty mountains to flower gardens and winding rivers, my hometown has it all when it comes to beautiful nature to explore. I feel so lucky to be able to grow up around these amazing places. If you ever visit Dongguan, I'll definitely take you on a tour to all my favorite nature spots! Thanks for reading, and get outdoors and discover the awesome nature around you too!篇6Awesome Nature in My Hometown DongguanHi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in a really cool city called Dongguan in southern China. Today I want to tell you all about the amazing natural beauty we have here. Get ready to be wowed!First up, we have the Dongguan Botanical Garden. This huge park has plants and flowers from all over the world. It's like getting to travel the globe without even leaving Dongguan! My favorite sections are the gorgeous rose garden with hundreds of colorful rose bushes and the peaceful Japanese garden with pretty ponds and bonsai trees. I love wandering the winding trails and watching butterflies flit from flower to flower.Another awesome nature spot is Guanyin Mountain. This isn't just any old mountain - it's 949 meters tall! That's like a billion feet high (well, maybe not quite that high but you get the idea). From the top you can see the entire city spread out below. The best part is the Guanyin Statue, a huge 58 meter Buddha statue that's one of the tallest in the world. On clear days, I dare you to find a more peaceful place to sit, relax, and take in the view.If you're more of a water person, then you'll go nuts for the East Salt River Ecological Park. This river has the bluest, cleanest water you've ever seen. You can rent a boat and row down thegentle current, feeling the warm sun on your face. Families pack picnic lunches to eat on the grassy riverbanks. My favorite thing is searching for tiny fish and crabs in the shallow waters. Who knows what aquatic critters I'll find next? But my number one favorite nature destination has to be Fongling Park. This massive park is like getting five amazing attractions in one! First, there's the Qifeng Mountain area with its rolling green hills, hiking trails, and famous Yingfeng Temple. My friends and I love taking a break sitting by the streams and watching the koi fish swim around. Then there's the Mind Valley scenic area full of weird rock formations, waterfalls, and suspension bridges high up in the treetops. Climbing up there makes me feel like a jungle explorer! The TreeTop Path is a 600 meter long walkway suspended in the trees where you get a bird's eye view of the entire forest below. So cool!Fongling Park has not just one but TWO different botanical gardens full of exotic plants. They even have greenhouses for you to visit in the winter when it gets a bit chilly out. And if that's not enough nature for you, get this - there's also an entire section modeled after traditional Chineseneighborhoods! Youcan wander quaint streets, see historic buildings, and imagine you've gone back in time.No matter where I go in Fongling, around every corner there's another waterfall, pavilion, bridge, or flowerbed to discover. I've probably only seen half of what's there and I've been going for years! My absolute favorite is renting a bike and riding around the winding paths, with lush greenery and picture-perfect views in every direction.Dongguan truly is an awesome place for nature lovers. Whether you want towering mountains, peaceful gardens, winding rivers, or huge parks jam-packed with cool attractions, we've got it all! The next time you're in southern China, you gotta come check out my hometown's natural wonders. I'll be your tour guide to the best spots! Thanks for reading, friends!。

I am really familiar with everything in Dongguan since I have lived here from my birth to now. And I love Dongguan, and I’m so proud of being a student of Dongguan. Dongguan is located in Guangdong and near Hong Kong and Macao, which is a part of Great Bay Area. I'm excited to see this majestic city. Here, in Dongguan, we see the growth that has caught the attention of the world -- the soaring skyscrapers, the bustling streets, and entrepreneurial activity. And just as I'm impressed by these signs of development in Dongguan in the 21st century, I'm looking forward to seeing the better future of Dongguan.
I love Dongguan. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my beautiful city! I love you, Dongguan!

Good afternoon, everyone. My name is xxx. I am so pleased to be here and make you a short speech. Today, my topic is about my hometown, a beautiful city -- Dongguan.
Referring to Guangdong, you may think about Guangzhou, Shenzhen. Now I am introducing a rising city, Dongguan. Dongguan belongs to the Bay area, near to HongKong and Macao. The government in Dongguan aims to make it follow the development trend of Bay Area cities.
Today, standing on the Huangqi mountain, you can see many high-rise buildings, such as the Taiwan business building and the international trade center. However, the pattern of Dongguan is more than that. To make a better Dongguan, we should implement the urban quality improvement project, make efforts to optimize the urban pattern, strengthen traffic planning and ecological environment governance. As a student, we should study hard and make efforts to a beautiful future for Dongguan.
Thank you for listening!。
