绘本教学不同于教材内容的课堂教学，如果讲绘本定位为一节雷同课堂教学的一节阅读课，那绘本给学生的印象无非是一本教材内容的仿本，时间长了，他们就会失去阅读兴趣，就更不要谈素养的培养了。
我认为绘本应该是和教材互补的，愉快毫无压力的阅读是他们真正需要的。
王蔷教授在《小学英语阅读教学：意义、内涵与途径》一书中关于阅读能力和阅读品格的培养是通过绘本阅读形式实现的，如何学生饶有兴趣阅读的状态下实现因材施教、合作共进、实现自主阅读和思辨能力提升等等一系列的素养培养上，她给出了科学而操纵性强的教学建议。
