用英语写一篇关于著名人物的小作文五年级全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Hero: Marie CurieWho is your hero? My hero is Marie Curie. She was a very smart and important scientist who made major discoveries in physics and chemistry. Even though she lived a long time ago, her accomplishments were amazing and changed the world.Marie Curie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, which is now the capital of Poland but at the time was part of Russia. Her parents were both teachers and they valued education very much. Marie excelled at school from an early age. She was incredibly curious about how things worked and loved learning, especially subjects like math, physics, and chemistry. When Marie was a young adult, she had to overcome many challenges to get the education she dreamed of. In those days, universities in Russia did not accept very many women students. Marie's family did not have much money either. But Marie was very determined. She took tutoring jobs and did hard work like being a governess to save up enough money to attend an illegalunderground education organization called the Floating University. Can you imagine having to go to a secret, illegal university just because you were a woman who wanted to learn? In 1891, at age 24, Marie was finally able to leave Russia and enroll at the University of Paris, one of the best universities in Europe that accepted women. There she studied physics, chemistry and mathematics. She had to live in poverty and a tiny, freezing cold apartment, but she didn't care because she could finally focus on her true passion - science.Marie met another scientist named Pierre Curie, who was also very passionate about physics. They fell in love, got married, and became a powerhouse scientific couple, working together on research. In 1903, they made an incredible discovery together - they isolated a new chemical element that released a special kind of energy, which they named "radioactivity." This篇2My Hero: Malala YousafzaiHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my biggest hero, Malala Yousafzai. She is a really brave and inspiring young woman from Pakistan who fought for girls' education. I think her story is super amazing!Malala was born in 1997 in the Swat Valley region of Pakistan. From a very young age, she loved going to school and learning new things. But there was a problem - a group of bad people called the Taliban didn't want girls to get an education. They blew up many schools and said girls couldn't go to school anymore. Can you imagine that? Not being allowed to learn and grow? I would be so sad!Even though she was just a kid, Malala spoke up against the Taliban. She gave speeches and wrote a blog under a fake name about how important it is for girls to have the same rights as boys, including the right to an education. She was very brave to do this because the Taliban threatened to hurt her for speaking out.Sadly, on October 9th, 2012, the Taliban's threats became reality. A man boarded Malala's school bus and shot her in the head! She was just 15 years old. Everyone was horrified that someone would try to kill a teenage girl just because she wanted to go to school. Thankfully, Malala survived the attack after getting very good medical care. After recovering, Malala didn't back down. She kept speaking up for girls' education, giving powerful speeches all over the world. In 2014, when she was only 17 years old, shebecame the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize! The Nobel Prize is a huge honor that recognizes people who have done amazing work for peace and human rights.Malala said "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world." She believes that strongly in the power of education. She used her Nobel Prize money to open schools for Syrian refugee children. How cool is that?Today, Malala is 25 years old. She goes to college in the UK and continues to be an activist, writer, and inspiration to people everywhere, especially young girls. Whenever anyone tells her she can't do something because she's a girl, she responds "Watch me!"So that's why Malala Yousafzai is my biggest hero. She stood up for what's right, even when she was just a kid and it was super dangerous. She never gave up on her dream of getting an education and making sure other girls could get an education too. Malala is living proof that one brave person can change the world.I hope that if I ever face a big challenge or feel like giving up, I can remember Malala's story. She shows that kids can be powerful voices and shouldn't be underestimated. Her courage, resilience, and belief in human rights is a big inspiration to meand so many others around the world. What an amazing modern-day hero!篇3My Hero: Jane GoodallHave you ever heard of Jane Goodall? She's one of the coolest and bravest ladies ever! Jane Goodall is a famous scientist who studies animals, especially chimpanzees. She has spent most of her life living in the jungles of Africa to learn all about how chimps live. I'm going to tell you all about her amazing life and why she is my biggest hero!Jane was born in London, England on April 3rd, 1934. That means she's 89 years old now! Can you believe someone that old was brave enough to go live in the jungle? When Jane was just a little kid, she was already obsessed with animals. She loved reading books about animals and watching them at the zoo or on tv nature shows. Her favorite stuffed animal was a chimpanzee toy named Jubilee.Even though Jane loved animals more than anything, she never thought she could become a scientist. Back in those days, not many women got to have cool jobs like that. But Jane didn't let that stop her! After finishing school, she worked as a secretaryin England to save up money. Then in 1957, when she was 23 years old, she got a chance to visit a friend in Kenya whose family owned a farm there. This was her big break! When Jane got to Kenya, she met a famous paleontologist named Dr. Louis Leakey. A paleontologist is someone who digs up old bones and fossils to learn about prehistoric life. Dr. Leakey was looking for someone to live with and study wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat in the Gombe Stream National Park. At first he didn't think a woman with no college degree could handle such a tough job. But Jane convinced him that she was determined, patient, and loved animals more than anything. So Dr. Leakey gave her the chance of a lifetime! In 1960, Jane went to live in the Gombe jungle in Tanzania to study the chimps there. She was one of the first people ever to closely observe chimps in the wild over a long period of time. Before Jane, scientists didn't know much about how chimps really acted in their natural environment. They thought chimps were a lot like humans - peaceful vegetarians who didn't use tools or have complex social behaviors. Boy were they wrong!Jane spent YEARS patiently sitting in the jungle, observing the daily lives of the Gombe chimps. She gave them all names like David Graybeard and Goliath so she could tell them apart. After awhile, the chimps got used to Jane being around and went about their normal business. Jane took extremely detailed notes on everything they did - what they ate, how they raised their babies, how they communicated, their different personality traits, and so much more. Some of Jane's most groundbreaking discoveries included:Chimps are omnivores, not vegetarians! She saw them hunt and eat small mammals.Chimps use simple tools like sticks to fish termites out of mounds.Chimps have very close family bonds, complex social structures, and can be viollen t.Chimps are one of the smartest animals aside from humans.Jane completely changed how the world viewed chimpanzees and our closest genetic relatives in the animal kingdom. Her findings showed that we have way more in common with chimps than science realized. Thanks to Jane's research, we understand so much more about chimpanzee behavior, intelligence, emotions, and abilities. But Jane didn't just observe the chimps - she was determined to protect them too. Over the years, she noticedtheir rainforest habitat was being destroyed by loggers, poachers, and human activity. So in 1977, she created the Jane Goodall Institute to protect chimps and their environment through conservation efforts. Her organization does amazing work rehabilitating orphaned chimps, planting millions of trees, and promoting sustainable ways for people to live near chimp habitats.Even though Jane is very old now, she still travels the world at least 300 days per year to speak, write books, and teach the next generation about her life's work. She has received tons of honors like the National Geographic Society's Hubbard Medal and the French Legion of Honor. Jane has honorary degrees from tons of universities too! She was even named a UN Messenger of Peace. In my opinion, Jane Goodall is the greatest primatologist (a scientist who studies primates like apes and monkeys) ever. She revolutionized our understanding of chimps and animal behavior through her incredibly detailed research over 60 years in the field. But she didn't just observe - she took action to protect chimps and their environment too. I have so much respect and admiration for Jane's curiosity, passion, patience, and lifelong dedication. She overcame so many obstacles as a woman inscience to follow her dreams. Imagine how much courage it took for her as a young lady to go live alone in the African jungle!Jane once said "What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." Those words really inspire me. Thanks to Jane's heroic efforts, the world knows so much more about our closest cousins in the animal kingdom. And tons of chimpanzee habitats have been preserved thanks to her conservation work. She dedicated her entire life to learning about chimps and protecting them - and that makes all the difference. Jane Goodall is living proof that you should always follow your passion and never give up on your dreams, no matter how impossible they seem. She is the ultimate role model for young animal lovers like me!篇4My Favorite Famous Person: Marie CurieHave you ever heard of Marie Curie? She was a really amazing scientist who lived a long time ago. I think she is one of the coolest famous people ever!Marie Curie was born in 1867 in Poland. When she was a little kid, she was already super smart and loved learning about science and nature. Back then, not a lot of girls got to go toschool or be scientists. But Marie didn't let that stop her! She studied really hard and got amazing grades. As a young woman, Marie moved to France to go to university there. It was really hard for her because she didn't have much money and had to live in a tiny apartment and survive on almost no food. But she kept on working super duper hard until she became a teacher.Marie was obsessed with the brand new discovery of "radioactivity" that had just been made. She read every single book she could find about it. She did tons of experiments in her spare time in a super janky lab. That's when she made her first big breakthrough!Using special tools she invented herself, Marie was able to discover two new radioactive elements that no one knew about before - radium and polonium! This was such a huge deal in the science world. People were like "Whoa, who is this lady and how did she find things we couldn't??"For this amazing discovery, Marie Curie won her first Nobel Prize in 1903. She was the first woman ever to get one which was a really big deal back then when women weren't treated very fairly. But that's not all she did!Marie spent years and years doing more research and experiments on radioactivity. During World War 1, she used her knowledge to invent mobile X-ray units that could be used to treat soldiers who were hurt or wounded on the battlefield. This was the first time X-rays were ever used for medical purposes. How cool is that?In 1911, for all her work and discoveries about radioactivity, Marie Curie won her second Nobel Prize! She is still the only person in the whole world who has ever won the Nobel Prize twice. Her husband Pierre also won, making them the power couple of science back then.Unfortunately, all that work with radioactive materials made Marie very sick later in life. Back then people didn't know how dangerous radiation could be. A lot of her notebooks are still too radioactive to even touch today!Marie Curie died in 1934 from illnesses caused by radiation exposure. But she is still one of the most famous scientists ever, almost 100 years later. She proved that women can be just as good as men at science, even better! She never gave up or let people discourage her from following her passion. Some of my favorite Marie Curie quotes are: "Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood" and "Life is not easyfor any of us, but it is a continual struggle against ourselves and the world." I think these show how brave and determined she was.Whenever I am tempted to slack off or give up on something hard, I remember Marie Curie. If she could discover new elements, invent medical technologies, win two Nobel Prizes and keep pushing forward no matter what challenges she faced, then I can finish my homework! She is such an inspiration.Marie Curie is living proof that one person's curiosity, hard work and perseverance can change the world. I hope to be as passionate about something as she was about science. Her life story motivates me to never stop learning and using my brain. Who knows, maybe I'll grow up to be a famous scientist like Marie Curie one day too!篇5My Hero: Malala YousafzaiHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my hero, Malala Yousafzai. She's a really brave and inspiring girl from Pakistan who fought for girls' education. I think her story is super amazing and she's done so many cool things!Malala was born in 1997 in the Swat Valley region of Pakistan. Even as a little kid, she loved going to school and learning new things. But then, in 2007 when she was just 10 years old, these bad terrorist guys called the Taliban took over the area where she lived. The Taliban doesn't like girls getting an education. They started blowing up schools and threatening families who sent their daughters to school. Can you imagine that? Having to miss out on school just because you're a girl? That's so unfair! But Malala wasn't going to let the Taliban stop her from learning. She kept going to school secretly, even though it was really dangerous. She also started speaking out about how important it is for girls to have an education. Malala gave speeches and wrote a blog under a fake name about life under Taliban control. She was really brave to do this when the Taliban could have hurt her for speaking up.In 2012, when Malala was 15 years old, the worst thing happened. She was riding on a bus after taking an exam at school. Suddenly, a Taliban gunman stopped the bus, asked "Who is Malala?" and shot her in the head! It was terrifying. Malala almost died from her injuries. Luckily, she was rushed to ahospital in England for special treatment. The doctors couldn't believe she survived being shot at such close range. After months of surgeries and rehab, Malala recovered and went on to become an even bigger voice for girls' education around the world. She gave speeches at the United Nations and met with world leaders. In 2014, when she was just 17 years old, she became the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize! How cool is that?Malala used her Nobel Prize money to start a charity called the Malala Fund, which opens schools for girls in Pakistan and other countries. She wrote a best-selling book about her life story too. Malala still speaks out everywhere she can about girls' rights to go to school. Her dream is for every girl in the world to get a quality education.I think Malala is such an inspiration, especially for girls like me. She shows that even kids can be brave and make a big difference in the world. She never let the Taliban's threats stop her from standing up for what she believed in. Malala risked her life because she knew how important it was for all children to have access to education, no matter if you're a boy or a girl.Imagine how different the world would be if the Taliban could control whether girls got an education or not. Girlswouldn't be able to become doctors, scientists, teachers, or leaders. That's why Malala's cause is so important. An educated girl can change her family's future and even change the world.Malala is living proof that one brave person who keeps speaking out can start a movement for positive change. I hope that when I grow up, I can be as fearless as Malala in fighting for what's right. If the Taliban couldn't silence her when she was just a teenager, then we all have the power to make our voices heard on issues we care about too.So that's why I look up to Malala Yousafzai so much. She's a regular girl, just like any of us, but she showed incredible courage and strength. She reminds me that we should never take our education for granted because some kids risk their lives just to go to school. We are so lucky to live in a country where we can learn freely. I'll never forget Malala's amazing story of survival and her mission to give every child a chance at a brighter future through education. She's definitely my hero!篇6A Famous Person I Admire - Michael JordanvbnetCopyMy nameisTommyandI'm going to tell you about a really cool famous person that I admire a whole lot. He was probably the most competitive personinthe historyofsports! Michael always wantedtowinandhated losing more than anything. He worked so hardinpracticeandnever took playsoffduring games. His driveandintensity pushed his teammatestobe better too. There are so many awesome momentsfromMichael's career that showed his fiery competitiveness. One time the Bulls were playing the Seattle SuperSonics. Late in the game, Michael stole the ball and was heading for a breakaway dunk. The Sonics player Gary Payton tried to intentionally foul Michael by grabbing his arm. But instead of just taking the foul, Michael powered through and still dunked the ball with his other hand! It was an amazing play.Another time, Michael was getting killedbytrash talkingfromthe Detroit Pistons. Sointhenextgame, he scored a personal recordof61pointstoshut them up! The Pistons players had made Michael so mad that he wentoffandhad oneofthe greatest scoring nights ever. That's just how insanely competitive MJ was. If you talked trash to him, he would totally destroy you.Notonly was Michael an incredible player, but he was aglobalsuperstar too. He became a huge celebrityandcultural iconinthe1990s. Kids all over the world loved watching him playandwantedto"Be Like Mike."His popularity made the NBA go mainstreamandblew up basketball's fame worldwide. Michal did so many commercials for products like McDonald's, Gatorade, and most importantly Nike's Air Jordan sneakers. The Air Jordans were a total game-changerandthe most popular sneakers ever. Everybody wanted a pair, includingme! I rememberformy10th birthday, I begged my parentstogetmethenewAir Jordan13sthat just came out. They were so expensive at 150but I had been doing a tonofextra chorestoearn the money.Onmy birthday morning, I ripped open the big box andthere they were - my very own Jordans! Putting themonfeltlikea dream. I've never loved a pair of shoes more in my life.Michael's fame was so huge that he even starred in the classic movie Space Jam in 1996. In the movie, Michael gets recruited by the Looney Tunes cartoon characters to help them win a basketball game against tiny aliens who stole the powers of the NBA's best players. It was such a funny and entertaining movie that combined Michael's basketball skills with the crazy Looney Tunes antics. I've watched Space Jam like a million times!Sadly, Michael's basketball career ended in 2003 when he retired from the NBA at age 40 after coming back for two more seasons with the Washington Wizards. He finished his career as a 14-time All-Star, 5-time MVP, 6-time champion, and the NBA's third all-timeleading scorer with 32,292 total points. His #23 jersey is iconic and one of the most popular selling sports jerseys ever.Today, Michael Jordanisconsideredbymost peopleasthe bestandmost iconic playerinNBA history. His Airness revolutionized the gameandtook basketball's popularity to totally new heights. Michael was an amazing scorer and Winner who made plays that amazed and inspired fans worldwide. His intense drive and refusal to ever give up orbe beaten made him unbeatable on the court. That's why I admire Michael Jordan so much - he's simply the greatest of all time!。
