英文演讲稿开场白(热门5篇)篇1:英文演讲稿开场白1. mr. chairman, senator thurmond, members of the committee, my name is anita f. hill, and i am a professor of law at the university of oklahoma. i was born on a farm in okmulgee county, oklahoma, in 1956. i am the youngest of 13 children. i had my early education in okmulgee county. my father, albert hill, is a farmer in that area. my mother's name is irma hill. she is also a farmer and a housewife.2. my childhood was one of a lot of hard work and not much money, but it was one of solid family affection, as represented by my parents. i was reared in a religious atmosphere in the baptist faith, and i have been a member of the antioch baptist church in tulsa, oklahoma, since 1983. it is a very warm part of my life at the present time.3. for my undergraduate work, i went to oklahoma state university and graduated from there in 1977. i am attaching to this statement a copy of my resume for further details of my education.4. i graduated from the university with academic honors and proceeded to the yale law school, where i received my jd degree in 1980. upon graduation from law school, i became a practicing lawyer with the washington, dc, firm of ward, hardraker, and ross.5. in 1981, i was introduced to now judge thomas by a mutual friend. judge thomas told me that he was anticipating a political appointment, and he asked if i would be interested in working with him. he was, in fact, appointed as assistant secretary of education for civil rights. after he had taken that post, he asked if i would become his assistant, and i accepted that position.6. in my early period there, i had two major projects. the first was an article i wrote for judge thomas' signature on the education of minority students. the second was the organization of a seminar on high-risk students which was abandoned because judge thomas transferred to the eeoc where he became the chairman of that office.7. during this period at the department of education, my working relationship with judge thomas was positive. i had a good deal of responsibility and independence. i thought he respected my work and that he trusted my judgment. after approximately three months of working there, he asked me to go out socially with him.8. what happened next and telling the world about it are the two most difficult things -- experiences of my life. it is only after a great deal of agonizing consideration and sleepless number -- a great number of sleepless nights that i am able to talk of these unpleasant matters to anyone but my close friends.9. i declined the invitation to go out socially with him and explained to him that i thought it would jeopardize what at the time i considered to be a very good working relationship. i had a normal social life with other men outside of the office. i believed then, as now, that having a social relationship with a person who was supervising my work would be ill-advised. i was very uncomfortable with the idea and told him so.10. i thought that by saying no and explaining my reasons my employer would abandon his social suggestions. however, to my regret, in the following few weeks, he continued to ask me out on several occasions. he pressed me to justify my reasons for saying no to him. these incidents took place in his office or mine. they were in the form of private conversations which would nothave been overheard by anyone else.11. my working relationship became even more strained when judge thomas began to use work situations to discuss sex. on these occasions, he would call me into his office for reports on education issues and projects, or he might suggest that, because of the time pressures of his schedule, we go to lunch to a government cafeteria. after a brief discussion of work, he would turn the conversation to a discussion of sexual matters.12. his conversations were very vivid. he spoke about acts that he had seen in pornographic films involving such matters as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes. he talked about pornographic materials depicting individuals with large penises or large breasts involved in various sex acts. on several occasions, thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess.13. because i was extremely uncomfortable talking about sex with him at all and particularly in such a graphic way, i told him that i did not want to talk about these subjects. i would also try to change the subject to education matters or to nonsexual personal matters such as his background or his beliefs. my efforts to change the subject were rarely successful.14. throughout the period of these conversations, he also from time to time asked me for social engagements. my reaction to these conversations was to avoid them by eliminating opportunities for us to engage in extended conversations. this was difficult because at the time i was his only assistant at the office of education -- or of篇2:英文演讲稿开场白英文演讲稿开场白精品演讲稿像议论文一样论点鲜明、逻辑性强、富有特点,但它又不是一般的议论文。

第1篇: 英语演讲稿开头惊艳全场 And I know what youre thinking. You know, Im up here bagging out inspiration, and youre thinking, "Jeez, Stella, arent you inspired sometimes by some things" And the thing is, I am. I learn from other disabled people all the time. Im learning not that I am luckier than them, though. I am learning that its a genius idea to use a pair of barbecue tongs to pick up things that you dropped. (Laughter) Im learning that nifty trick where you can charge your mobile phone battery from your chair battery.Genius. We are learning from each others strength and endurance, not against our bodies and our diagnoses, but against a world that exceptionalizes and objectifies us. I really think that this lie that weve been sold about disability is the greatest injustice. It makes life hard for us. And that quote, "The only disability in life is a bad attitude," the reason that thats bullshit is because its just not true, because of the social model of disability. No amount of smiling at a flight of stairs has ever made it turn into a ramp. Never. (Laughter) (Applause) Smiling at a television screen isnt going to make closed captions appear for people who are deaf. No amount of standing in the middle of a bookshop and radiating a positiveattitude is going to turn all those books into braille. Its just not going to happen.第2篇: 英语演讲稿开头惊艳全场 Nowadays, more and more graduatestudent step in society to find a satisfied job. At the same time, we have a serious problem. When these students were finding jobs, the male were easier to get a job than the female. Now the discrimination in employment became a common phenomenon. Even the tall educational background daughter graduate student is also very difficult to find the good job.In my opinion, the phenomenon should be eliminated. Maybe many things which need much physical strength to finish. In this aspect, male should be more popular than female. But in many other aspects, fem ale shouldn’t be discriminated. Because female could do many things which men could do . As far as we know, the female’s IQdon’t be lower than man. So these employing units shouldn’t discriminate female. Contrary, the woman more careful than many male person . In some aspects, woman more acuter than man.Generally speaking, female should get the same treat as male.My speech is over. Thank you.第3篇: 英语演讲稿开头惊艳全场 ndy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stopme ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be anathlete.Yeah ,of course ,I"m an athlete,I"m so proud of that all the time .When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete. The training was really hard ,I couldn"t bear the heavy shot in my hands .But Ialways believe that "god only help those who help themselves".During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice. But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn"t want to stop my sports career anyway.Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have adream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.I have a dream that one day ,I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to be.I have a dream that one day , I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place atthe olympic games. With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that I"m so proud to be a Chinese athlete! This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with With this faith ,I will live though the strong wind and heavyrain ,never give up !So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!In my imagination,I"m a bird ,a magical bird.I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. Is it on the country road, on the branch of an old oak tree, on the wheat fields in the plain, or between the peaks of the mountain range?See the snowflakes leaping, dancing like flowers in the whirling wind. Because of its easy loss, it is thought to be much more valuable. Why is the present time most valuable? Now I'd better quote Yue Manson's words as the answer. He said; "If you love time, you'd better love the present time. The time passed will never come back to you again. Though you are not sure about the existence of tomorrow, you will be certain about it today and now. Today you will have the day, which will mean two days tomorrow."Why is the present time easily lost? Because our universe isso vast. Because our universe turns without stopping. Because time is valuable people cherish it highly. You may ask me what you mean by the present time. What I mean is the time being now. But it passes as quick as a flash and becomes the past. The following are my opinions, and do not reflect the opinions or policies of any particular prosecutor's office.I am a prosecutor. I believe in law and order.
