Unit9 What does he look like?SectionA 1a-2c教学设计【教材分析】本单元是九年制义务课程标准实验教科书《新目标英语》七年级下册中第九单元第一课时,本单元的核心话题是谈论人的外表形象(look),日常生活中,我们经常要向别人描述人物,如我们所熟悉的人物的身高、发型、胖瘦等,因此“talking about sb’s look”是教学重点。
在目标语言“What does she/he look like ? She/he has long hair.” 中学会描述人物的外貌特征,然后通过听力活动的输入和针对性对话训练,让学生先学会如何用简单的句型和词汇描述人的外貌,再了解如何运用选择疑问句询问他人的外貌特征。
教材围绕着谈论人的外貌展开,同时开展交际功能的学习,以一种循序渐进的方式,引导学生用英语来介绍自己和他人。
本部分将听、说、读、练等融为一体,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望。
通过合作学习,使学生体验成就感,从而树立自信心,发展自主学习的能力,进一步培养学生用英语进行交际的能力。
【学情分析】七年级的学生年龄小,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画面特别感兴趣。
由于七年级学生刚学习句型,在英语的听、说能力方面,很多学生不愿开口说英语,怕说不好或说错;英语听力也比较薄弱。
针对这种情况,我把本节课的重点放在英语听说训练两方面,通过开展一些生动有趣的活动,加强英语听说训练。
根据学生的心理特点我在课上多以表扬为主,注重对学生英语学习兴趣的培养,营造英语氛围,鼓励学生开口说英语,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做。
特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。
