一.所教班级学生基本情况分析:
本届七年级新生英语水平存在很大的差异,即他们来自不同的小学,在小学的英语课因重视程度不一样,对本学科学习的要求也不一样,因此带来许多问题。
如他们在写的技能方面基本上没有得到过训练,字母还不能规范的书写,更别提什么单词,句子。
在读,说方面,语音也有不少需要纠正的地方,由于他们授课方式形式各异,学生的英语基础也因此差参不齐。
二.学生情况分析
1.学习水平不均
有的学生对小学英语比较重视,或是因自身对语言学习感兴趣参加过夏恩英语之类的英语外教辅导班,学得很好,对课文中句子的领悟以及朗读背诵得心应手,掌握速度快,口语也比较标准,课堂授课内容大部分可以熟练掌握并按要求进行语言输出,可以自编对话,达到应用效果。
但有的学生或学校不重视,对英语学习又不感兴趣,或是小学基础不好,也存在从未接触过英语的现象,因此,学起来比较困难,接受程度低,对句子的理解有偏差,很难达到背诵要求,学得很不好,甚至完全不能理解。
单词识记也相当困难。
因此,整个班级的英语水平很不平衡,存在两极分化现象,给日常教学带来诸多的不便,增加了教学难度。
2.学习习惯不好
学生刚刚从小学进入初中,处于一个衔接的阶段,学习任务加重,对英语学科的学习要求也有所不同,单词及句子课文都需要识记,书写甚至默写,课堂也需要记常用短语,再加上个别同学学习习惯不是很好,没有形成一定的适合自己的方法,不会听课不会记笔记,这些因素都有待改善。
以本单元How do you get to school为例,由于学生在小学所学的交通工具的介词表达法,如:by bus/train, car../on foot.印象深刻,运用度较高。
加之思维定式和先入为主的心理,这些知识可能会对本课的交通工具动词词组表达法,如:take the bus/train/car…/walk 等的学习产生负迁移和干扰。
所以学生在口语和书面表达时很容易犯语言错误,如:I by bus to school.同时由于对It takes …表示花时间的句型的take的理解偏差,学生也很容易写出“ I take 30 minutes”这样的句子。
3.词汇量小,阅读写作有困难。
当今英语中考模式主要以阅读性质的短文考察为主,因此对学生的阅读能力是个不小的考验。
而大多数孩子词汇量小,仅限于掌握了课本上的基础词汇,对于科普性质或是稍带些隐蔽性的故事情节理解不透,语言知识匮乏,导致做阅读题正确率不高。
同时对句子的组织能力差,常规的语法掌握不透彻,在书面表达上也存在一些问题,经常出现中式英语,即句子的排列顺序按照汉语语言习惯来组织,而这些能力的训练和培养是一个长期坚持的过程,因此短时期内很难有明显的改善,从而受其影响导致课标要求中的文字输出部分成为薄弱环节。
总之,在教学中力争既要避免好生吃不饱的现象,又要努力把目前英语有欠缺的学生拉上去,激发他们的兴趣和信心,达到中上的学习水平。
并在今后的教学过程中侧重培养、激发兴趣,教给学生学习的方法,从学生的学习兴趣、学习能力、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与课堂交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言的学习过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识以及形成学生自主学习能力的过程,这是新课标和新目标英语的要求。
