同时，这类笔记本开机前就会显示HP SURE START字样，这意味着从这时起硬件级别的防护就已经启动对你系统的保护了。
普通的病毒或者木马只能从系统层面进行破坏，但有一种攻击很容易被大众忽视，但风险系数极高，那就是固件攻击。
这种攻击会直接对BIOS进行修改和破坏，让用户陷入瘫痪，并且对这种攻击，系统级别的安全软件根本束手无策。
HP Wolf Security包含诸多安全特性，其中非常重要的一项叫做HP SURE START，它可以检测到固件攻击，并能够自动修复固件。
如今这项技术已经发展至第七代，不仅可以修复固件，甚至闪存被攻击擦除之后，也能恢复回来。
