The pie chart above reveals clearly the percentage of graduates inclinations for work option. Based on the data given above, the proportion of salary and welfare ranks the highest, at approximately 52%, over a half of the total. By contrast, with respect to enterprise scale, promotion opportunity and interpersonal relationship cultivation, the amounts account for only 22%, 18% and 8% respectively. The fundamental factors that contribute to this trend may be summarized as follows. First and foremost, due to the strengthening economic growth, price of commodities are witnessing considerable climb increasingly, especially in the metropolitan cities. As a result, graduates need handsome income to sustain their life or even decent one. What s more, the generous welfare can further secure the quality of life and enable the graduates to fully enjoy their new starting point. Consequently, nearly half of the graduates are inclined to view salary and welfare as the prior option in their pursuit of work.In view of the arguments discussed above, I firmly believe that such established trend will definitely continue for quite a while in the forthcoming years. Accordingly, it is advisable for those enterprises that aspire to recruit qualified applicants to take this into consideration.

In the modern era, the advent of technology has revolutionized our lives in countless ways. From the mundane to the extraordinary, technology has permeated every aspect of our existence, offering both immense benefits and potential risks. One of the most significant impacts of technology has been on the way we communicate. Social media platforms, instant messaging apps, and video conferencing tools have bridged geographical divides and facilitated real-time interactions between people across the globe. This has fostered a sense of global interconnectedness and enabled us to stay connected with friends, family, and colleagues regardless of their physical location.Furthermore, technology has empowered us with unprecedented access to information and knowledge. Theinternet has become a vast repository of data on every conceivable topic, making it possible for individuals to educate themselves and stay informed about current events. Online learning platforms have also emerged, providing flexible and accessible educational opportunities to people of all ages.In the realm of healthcare, technology has played a transformative role in improving diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes. Medical imaging technologies, such as X-rays and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), have enhancedour ability to detect and diagnose diseases more accurately. Advancements in surgical techniques and robotic surgeryhave enabled minimally invasive procedures, reducing recovery times and improving patient comfort.Technology has also revolutionized the way we work. Cloud computing, remote work tools, and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered automation have increased efficiency, flexibility, and productivity. Businesses can now operate seamlessly across multiple locations, and employees can work from anywhere with an internetconnection. However, it is essential to acknowledge that the widespread adoption of technology also presents certain challenges. Concerns have been raised about the potential for data breaches and privacy violations, as well as the negative impact of excessive screen time on physical and mental health. The rapid pace of technological change can also lead to a digital divide, with some individuals lacking the skills or resources to fully participate in the digital age.To mitigate these risks, it is imperative that we approach technological advancements with a balanced perspective. While embracing the benefits that technology offers, we must also be mindful of its potential drawbacks and take steps to address them. By developing robust cybersecurity measures, promoting digital literacy, and ensuring equitable access to technology, we can harness the transformative power of technology while safeguarding our privacy, well-being, and social equity.

The bar chart and the table illustrate variations in the demographic size and life span in 1950, 2000 and projections for 2050 in three countries including China, the United States and Spain. It is striking to note that China is always the most populous country, with its population accounting for more than 400 million in 1950. After 5 decades, this figure tripled and then is projected to keep rising to almost 1600 million in 2050. Meanwhile, a similar trend could be spotted in American population, quadrupling to nearly 400 million over the centenary. The Spanish remained the least and the most stable at around 80 million. As reflected from table, Life expectancy in all the countries is on a rise especially in China where it is projected to double from the initial 40.1 to 79 in 2050. Also noticeable is life of the Spanish is mostly the longest one, growing from 69 to 82.8 years old over this period except in 2000 when it was surpassed by that of Americans who lived 79 years old. American people will also enjoy rising longevity, approaching 82 years old.In summary, the Chinese always tremendously outnumber Americans and the Spanish and life span is predictedto improve and become almost equal in these countries.

2018考研英语二大作文Possible essay:The 2018 National Postgraduate Entrance Examination (NPCEE) English Test II featured two writing tasks: a short essay on the advantages and disadvantages of social media and a long essay on the role of innovation in economic development. This essay will focus on the latter topic, which asked candidates to analyze the relationship between innovation and economic growth, and to provide examples and suggestions.Innovation, broadly defined as the creation and application of new ideas, products, or processes that enhance productivity, efficiency, competitiveness, andwell-being, has been widely recognized as a key driver of economic development in the contemporary world. Although some traditional factors such as natural resources, capital, labor, and infrastructure still matter, innovation has become increasingly crucial for countries to achievesustained growth, catch up with or leapfrog their rivals, and address various global challenges such as climate change, health, education, and security. The link between innovation and economic growth can be seen from various perspectives. First, innovation generates new industries, products, and services that create jobs, income, and tax revenues, and that satisfy consumer needs and preferences. For example, the rise of the internet and mobile devices has spawned a plethora of digital platforms, apps, and content that have transformed the way people communicate, work, learn, and entertain themselves, andthat have spawned new business models such as e-commerce, social networking, and sharing economy. These innovations have not only generated billions of dollars of revenue for their creators and investors, but also enabled millions of people to access information, services, and markets that were previously unavailable or expensive.Second, innovation enhances the efficiency and quality of existing industries, products, and services, and that reduces costs, wastes, and risks, and that improvesperformance, safety, and sustainability. For example, the development of new materials, processes, and equipment has enabled manufacturers to produce goods that are lighter, stronger, and more durable, and that require less energy, water, and raw materials. These innovations have not only made products more affordable and accessible to consumers, but also reduced the environmental footprint of production and consumption, and thus contributed to the global efforts to mitigate climate change and other environmental problems.Third, innovation fosters the accumulation anddiffusion of knowledge, skills, and capabilities thatenable individuals, organizations, and societies to adapt, learn, and innovate further. For example, the investment in research and development (R&D) by firms, universities, and governments has not only led to new discoveries and inventions, but also trained scientists, engineers, and managers with the expertise and creativity to tackle new challenges and opportunities. These innovations have notonly increased the stock of human capital and social capital, but also created positive spillovers and networks that enable others to learn from and build on them, andthat create a virtuous cycle of innovation and growth. However, innovation is not a panacea for all economic problems, nor is it a linear or automatic process that always leads to success. Innovation involves risks, uncertainties, and failures, and requires a supportive environment of institutions, policies, and culture that encourages experimentation, learning, and collaboration. Moreover, innovation may have unintended consequences such as job displacement, inequality, and ethical dilemmas, which need to be addressed through social and political dialogue and action. To promote innovation and economic growth, governments, businesses, and individuals can take various measures. Governments can provide funding, incentives, and regulations that support R&D, education, entrepreneurship, and diffusion of innovation, and that address market failures, externalities, and public goods. Businesses can invest in innovation, talent, and partnerships that enhance their competitiveness and social responsibility, and that align with the needs and values of their stakeholders.Individuals can cultivate their curiosity, creativity, and collaboration skills that enable them to generate and adopt new ideas, and that contribute to the common good.In conclusion, innovation plays a vital role in economic development by creating new opportunities, improving efficiency and quality, and fostering learning and adaptation. By understanding and harnessing the power of innovation, individuals and societies can achieve prosperity, sustainability, and well-being in the 21st century.。

Some people believe that newspaper is the best way to learn about news, while others believe that more effective way is through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Some people think news has no connection to people’s lives, so it is a waste of time to read the news on the newspaper and watch television news programs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Children are face educational, social and commercial pressures. What are the causes of these pressures? What measures should be taken to reduce them?
In this time and age, it is conceivable that children bear heavy pressure from education, social life and commercial respect. This tendency involves several factors and I would elaborate on them as follows. The most rooted one lies in the fiercer competition in the society. It is ubiquitous that the modern world is a one replete with competition. In an attempt to survive and attain success in future life, children are required to be accustomed to competing with peers in various situations, ranging from academic performance to personal skills. Besides, most parents place higher expectation on their children, urging them to study harder and diminishing their time on entertainment. Obviously, under such circumstance, excessive stress is imposed on children.Another factor is that children should follow certain rules to be acceptable by others. Although sometimes they donot quite approve of perspectives or values of peers, they are not allowed to behave aggressively and even conceal their true feeling to maintain a stable and close friendship. In regard to the culprit of commercial pressure, intensive advertising campaigns should be blamed for. Toys and snacks are depicted attractive and tasty in TV commercials; consequently, it is difficult for children to resist the temptation and they tend to require parents to purchase those products. However, the fact is that the result is often contrary to their expectations. In order to relieve children from high pressure, several effective measures are supposed to be adopted. First and foremost, children themselves had better to adjust their attitude towards exams or competition in schools. To be specific, composure and optimism are essential elements they should be equipped with when encountering challenges. In addition, parents’ encouragement and guidance rather than undue requirements serve the better purpose. Furthermore, government should play a regulatory role in advertising aimed at children, applying the power to censoring the content of commercials. In conclusion, although it is regarded as a normalphenomenon in the wake of social development, children who are continuously under pressure are likely to suffer from mental diseases. Therefore, children, parents as well as the authority should make concerted efforts to address this issue.
Children are facing more pressures nowadays from academic (educational), social and commercial perspectives. What are the causes of these pressures and what measures should be taken to reduce these pressures?
What do you think makes children unhappy today? Researchers are pointing at the pressures from various perspectives—academic, social and commercial. While the causes of these pressures seem clear enough, there are no simple measures to reduce them.It is easy to explain why children are facing academic, social and commercial pressures. Firstly, although as parents there are few pleasures greater than their children succeeding at school, sometimes the pressure is way too much. Parents’unrealistically high expectations can backfire severely and end up causing their children to be unhappy. Secondly, all children have to face peer pressure in school, which is generally beneficial to kids’ growth, yet the ugly reality is that peer pressure reaches its highest intensity at just the age when children tend to be so insensitive, unkind, and even cruel as to purposefully make others unhappy. Thirdly, children are easily affected by advertising that attracts them to buy things they cannot possibly afford, and as a result, they may feel unhappy.Though it is never easy to fix these feelings of unhappiness, there are possible measures to be taken to enhance the wellbeing of children who are under constant pressures. To begin with, parents have to draw a line on the expectations of their children and find out their true potentials, rather than pushing them to unrealistic limits. Meanwhile, with patience and guidance, parents should keep an eye on their children who fall victims to online pressure through social networking. Simultaneously, the authorities should do more to regulate advertising that are intended for children who are anxious to buy unnecessary things. In conclusion, there are no easy solutions to the increasing academic, social, and commercial pressures children face today. Frankly, I am quite pessimistic because those factors that bring pressures to children are not likely to go away, at least in the foreseeable future.雅思写作高分表达 Point at 指向......Perspective 角度Reduce 减少;减轻Pleasure 快乐;愉悦Way too much 太过了Unrealistically 不切实际地Backfire 回火;事与愿违End up 最终落得个......Peer pressure 同龄人压力Intensity 强度Purposefully 有意地Afford 负担得起Fix 解决Enhance 提高Constant 长期的Potential 潜力(的)Keep an eye on... 关注......Fall victim to...
