A durable vision-----Coca cola
In World War II, Coca cola became a prevailing brand globally. The company’s vision is to serve the people the best beverage( have a coke and a smile). His formula was extraordinarily popular but in 1985 the CEO Robert changed the old formula into a new one which received numerous complaints from the consumers. Coca cola remembered his vision and quickly changed its strategy, abiding by its old formula again.
Vision management:
1.All get up early in the morning;
2.All do the self-study everyday;
3.Encourage and help each other ……
All will succeed…

An organization's vision is a shared vision. And a correct vision management can encourage all the members to work heart and soul for the organization and will lead to the success of the organization.
Maybe the story is miraculous, but it shows us a truth: everyone stood out to choose death not only because they were loyal to Spartacus but also they had a shared vision that they could be free one day!
• Vision management(愿景管理)
Vision(愿景): this word first appeared in the book Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies (《基业长青—企业永续经营的准则》 ) written by Jim Collins and Jerry I. Porras, which means a shared goal which is observed by all the members in an organization in the near future .
A clear vision----- Draper Laboratories
In 1961， America president Kennedy launched a shared vision that in ten years people would be sent to the moon. Draper Laboratories in MIT(麻省理工学院的德雷普实验室 ) accepted the assignment and designed the guidance system. After years’ trying, they unfortunately found the original design was a mistake yet several million dollars had been invested by the government. But after a difficult discuss, they didn’t gave up but decided to start afresh. Because they had a clear vision that they had to send the people into the moon in 10 years. In 1969, they invented Apollo 11 and sent the people to the moon successfully for the first time.

A shared vision----- Panasonnic
In Japan, Panasonnic(松下) is an electric appliance company. When the employees first enter the company, they will be told of the company’s vision in the next 20 years. The company will encourage their staff to form an individual vision which can be reconciled to(相融合) the company’s shared vision so that the whole company will have the same goal and they will make joint effort for the enterprise.
Vision management: to manage team members in an organization using the shared vision which is based on personal visions so that the organization’s strengths can be fully maximized.
Shared vision is based on personal vision (leader).
1+1=2? 1+1>2? 1+1=0？
For example，in Pilgrimage to the West 《西游记》, the four members have a shared vision: going to the west and getting Buddhist Scriptures (佛经).

The story of Spartacus(斯巴达克斯 ) :
In ancient Roman, Spartacus was the leader of the slaves and encouraged a group of slaves to rebel against Romans. Unfortunately, they were surrounded one day and the Romans said if Spartacus stood out and surrendered, other slaves would be spared. Few minutes later, Spartacus came out from the group of slaves and said:” I am Spartacus!” However, one after another, all the slaves stood out and said: ”I am Spartacus!”
