介绍一位你最喜欢的中国名人英语作文

介绍一位你最喜欢的中国名人英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Chinese Famous PersonHi everybody! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade and my favorite subject is Chinese history. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite famous Chinese person - Zheng He!Zheng He was a really awesome explorer who lived a long time ago during the Ming Dynasty from 1371 to 1433. He led these giant voyages across the oceans with huge fleets of ships called "treasure ships" because they were so massive. Can you imagine ships bigger than football fields? That's how big Zheng He's treasure ships were!Zheng He didn't start out as an explorer though. He was actually born into a Muslim family in the Yunnan province in southwest China. His Chinese name was Ma He. When he was just a young kid, he was captured and then castrated to become a court eunuch servant. That means he went to work in thepalace for the emperor. It was really mean they did that to him but back then it was kinda normal. After working hard in the palace for a while, Zheng He eventually became a trusted advisor to the emperor. The emperor decided Zheng He should lead these epic voyages to explore the whole world and spread Chinese culture and power. Between 1405 and 1433, Zheng He led 7 incredible voyages across the seas! His first voyage in 1405 had a fleet of 62 huge ships carrying almost 28,000 crew members! That's like a small city on the ocean. They sailed from China all the way to places like Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and even the east coast of Africa. It's crazy to think Chinese ships went that far over 600 years ago when Europeans hadn't even discovered the Americas yet.On later voyages, Zheng He's fleets got even bigger with as many as 300 ships at one point. They would bring back exotic goods from all over the world like spices, precious stones, and even giraffes as gifts for the emperor. Zheng He's ships were so gigantic, they could carry full -sized trees and rebuild gardens on the deck to impress people in the lands they visited. Not only was Zheng He an incredible explorer, but he was also a pretty tough dude. On one voyage, they got caught in ahuge violent storm in the Indian Ocean. Zheng He took an oar himself and helped row the ship to safety while waves crashed all around them. On another voyage, Zheng He and his crew captured pirates who had been terrorizing the shipping lanes. Theyput the pirates on trial and some were executed as punishment. Yikes!Although Zheng He came from humble beginnings and had some bad things happen to him as a kid, he worked really hard and became one of the most amazing explorers in history. He deserves huge credit for spreading Chinese culture and influence throughout the Indian Ocean and inspiring others with his brave voyages. Over 600 years later, people in China and all around the world are still in awe of Zheng He's daring adventures across the seas.If I could go back in a time machine, I'd love to join one of Zheng He's treasure voyages and see the world through his eyes. Fighting pirates, surviving epic storms, impressing foreign kings and queens with exotic treasures - sign me up! I might get a little seasick but it would be the adventure of a lifetime.Well, that's about all I have to say about Zheng He for now. He's honestly just the coolest and I wish I could have met him. Between his insane voyages, the massive treasure ships, and allhis crazy daring adventures across the oceans, Zheng He will forever be my favorite famous Chinese explorer and historical figure. Thanks for reading my essay, friends!篇2My Favorite Chinese Famous PersonI want to tell you about my favorite famous person from China. His name is Lei Feng and he is the most selfless and caring person I know! Lei Feng was a soldier in the People's Liberation Army in the 1960s.Lei Feng grew up in a very poor family in Hunan province. His parents were farmers and they didn't have a lot of money. When Lei Feng was just 8 years old, both of his parents passed away and he became an orphan. Despite his difficult childhood, Lei Feng never felt sorry for himself. Instead, he focused on studying hard and helping others however he could. As a young man, Lei Feng joined the People's Liberation Army. He was known for his unwavering dedication to the Communist Party's principles and his willingness to do even the most humble chores without complaint. Lei Feng would volunteer for extra work shifts and donate portions of his income to help others in need. He repaired fellow soldiers' socks anduniforms, tutored kids after school, visited elderly neighbors and helped clean their homes - all while never asking for anything in return. One of the most famous stories about Lei Feng is when he saw a frail elderly man struggling to carry two heavy buckets of water. Without hesitation, Lei Feng rushed over and carried the buckets for the man, even though it made him late reporting for duty. When his officer scolded him, Lei Feng humbly replied "As a member of the People's Liberation Army, I should wholeheartedly serve the people."Lei Feng didn't just help people directly though. He also encouraged his comrades to cultivate a spirit of humble service and altruism. He would say "A rev should become tiny screw that never allows itself to rust." By this, he meant Communists should stay modest and committed to serving the people tirelessly. He famously kept a diary where he tracked his daily efforts to be a better person and help others more.Tragically, Lei Feng died at the age of just 22 after being struck by a falling pole while directing traffic for a truck that was stuck in a ditch. Despite his young age and short life, Lei Feng's extraordinary acts of selflessness and devotion left a huge impression on the people of China. After his death, theCommunist Party promoted his life story widely as a model for service-oriented revolutionary morality that all citizens should strive to emulate. To this day, Lei Feng remains a celebrated folklore hero across China. His humble roots, selfless lifestyle and steadfast dedication to helping others no matter how small the task have been memorialized in books, films, statues and museums. In many cities, there are "Learn from Lei Feng" activism groups that carry on his legacy of community service and volunteerism. On his birthday each year, the country honors Lei Feng Day as a day for all citizens to reflect on his exemplary spirit of altruism.I really admire Lei Feng because he never thought of himself as superior to anyone. Even as a member of the powerful People's Liberation Army, he remained grounded and focused on assisting the most vulnerable members of society with basic needs like fetching water or chopping firewood. He lived his entire life according to Mao Zedong's teachings about selflessly serving the people.I think Lei Feng's example challenges all of us to find ways to lend a helping hand, no matter how small the gesture may seem. We shouldn't wait for grand opportunities to do good deeds. Instead, we should emulate Lei Feng by seizing every humblechance we have to make someone else's life a little bit easier or brighter. Whether that means taking out an elderly neighbor's trash, volunteering at a food bank, or sharing our school supplies with classmates in need, all acts of service and compassion make our communities stronger.I hope that by learning about Lei Feng and his incredible life of self-sacrifice, I can incorporate more of his noble spirit into my own character. If we all aimed to help others as readily as Lei Feng did, the world would undoubtedly be a kinder, more generous and unified place. That's why Lei Feng will always be my hero!篇3My Favorite Famous Chinese Person: Yao MingHi! My name is Li Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you about my favorite famous Chinese person - Yao Ming! Yao Ming is a super tall and super cool former professional basketball player from China. He's one of the most famous athletes to ever come from my country.Yao Ming was born in Shanghai in 1980. Even as a kid, he was way taller than everyone else his age. By the time he was a teenager, he was already over 7 feet tall! Can you imagine beingthat tall when you're only 13 or 14 years old? I'm only 4 and a half feet tall right now. Yao is like a giant compared to me!Because of his incredible height, Yao started playing basketball at a very young age. He quickly became one of the best youth players in China. In 1997, when he was just 17 years old, he joined the professional basketball team in Shanghai. He was the youngest player ever on that team! Just a year later, he was the star player helping that team win the championship.Yao's amazing skills caught the attention of the best professional basketball league in the world - the NBA in the United States. In 2002, he was drafted by the Houston Rockets and became the first player from mainland China to ever play in the NBA. It was a huge deal!Playing in the NBA was not easy for Yao at first. The game was much more physical and competitive compared to basketball in China. But Yao worked extremely hard, kept a positive attitude, and never gave up. Year after year, he got better and better. He made the NBA All-Star team 8 times, which is a huge honor! My favorite thing about Yao Ming is how tall and dominant he was on the basketball court. At 7 feet 6 inches, he towered over every other player. It was crazy to see someone thatenormously tall running, jumping, and dunking. Defenders just couldn't stop him from scoring up close to the basket. Yao also had excellent shooting skills for someone his size. He could drain jump shots from all over the court. What a beast!Off the court, Yao seems like a really nice, funny,down-to-earth guy from the interviews I've seen. He is very proud of his Chinese heritage and loves representing his country. Yao also does a lot of great charity work and tries to inspire kids to work hard and follow their dreams, just like he did.Sadly, Yao's basketball career was cut short by injuries. He had to retire from the NBA in 2011 after playing for 9 seasons. But Yao's impact on the game of basketball, especially in China and Asia, can't be overstated. He is a national hero who helped grow the popularity of the sport in my country in a huge way. There are now millions of young Chinese kids playing basketball and many professional players, all because of Yao's trailblazing success.Yao has remained very popular and active since retiring. He owns a professional basketball team and does lots of broadcasting work. He was even an Olympic athlete, carrying the flag for China during the opening ceremonies in 2004 and 2008! How cool is that? Yao was also chosen to be one of the globalambassadors for the 2019 Basketball World Cup, which was hosted in China for the first time ever.In conclusion, Yao Ming is my favorite famous Chinese person because of his incredible basketball talent, his pioneering role in growing the sport's popularity in China, his positive attitude and character, and his ongoing work to promote basketball around the world. At nearly 7 and a half feet tall, he is a real-life giant who loomed large on the court. But more importantly, Yao has an even bigger heart and spirit that make him a true legend. He is a amazing role model for kids like me growing up in China. I hope that someday I can be as successful and impactful as the one-and-only Yao Ming!篇4My Favorite Chinese Hero: Zheng HeI want to tell you about my favorite Chinese hero, Zheng He! He was an amazing explorer who went on some of the greatest voyages in history. Even though he lived a long time ago, I think his story is super cool.Zheng He was born in 1371 in Yunnan Province in southwest China. His real name was Ma He, but he's best known as Zheng He. When he was just a young boy, he went through somethingreally scary and sad. Mean people attacked his town and captured him, along with his dad and thousands of others. They were taken across China as prisoners. During the long walk, Zheng He's dad died. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for him.The prisoners ended up in the capital city, and Zheng He was forced to become a servant in the palace. Even though his life took such a terrible turn, he worked really hard and became a talent person. The future emperor noticed how smart and capable he was, and by the time Zheng He was an adult, he had become a trusted member of the imperial court. In 1403, when the new emperor named Zhu Di took over, one of the first things he did was put Zheng He in charge of an incredible mission - to lead huge fleets of ships across the oceans to explore the world! This was during a time when most people thought the world was flat and the seas were filled with monsters. But the emperor wanted to show off China's power and wealth, so he helped put together these enormous ship crews.Zheng He's first voyage in 1405 was made up of over 60 huge ships and more than 27,000 sailors and other crew members. Just imagining a fleet that big sailing across theoceans gives me goosebumps! Their largest ships were over 400 feet long - that's longer than a football field! And they had things like watertight compartments to keep them from sinking, which seafaring technologies most other countries didn't have yet. The Chinese were so far ahead when it came to shipbuilding and navigation. On Zheng He's first voyage, his massive fleet sailed down the coast of Vietnam, through the Malacca Strait near modern-day Singapore and Malaysia, then all the way across the Indian Ocean to Calcutta. They continued westward, making stops in Sri Lanka, the Arabian peninsula, and down the eastern coast of Africa. During each stop, Zheng He would gather up valuable goods like spices, gemstones, and exotic animals to bring back as tribute treasures for the emperor. His missions were as much about trade and diplomacy as they were about exploration.Zheng He ended up leading six more of these expeditions over the next 28 years, each time commanding hundreds of ships and crews numbering in the tens of thousands. They sailed all the way to the eastern coast of Africa, the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and throughout the Indian Ocean. Places that had never seen ships as large or a naval force as powerful as theZheng He's before. He traded goods, projected Chinese power and influence, and forged alliances with local kings and leaders. If you connect all the dots of the places Zheng He's fleets visited on a map, his voyages would make up one of the longest maritime trails in history up until that point! To me, the coolest parts about Zheng He's adventures are first, how gigantic the ships and crews were compared to what European explorers like Columbus would have just a few decades later. His "treasure ships" carrying the goods, animals, and treasures back home to China were like moving cities on the ocean. And second, I'm amazed that he did it all without ever conquering, colonizing, or really fighting against the different civilizations he encountered. Most explorers from Europe were on missions of domination, but Zheng He's huge armadas were more for diplomacy and trade. He represented China's wealth and power, without resorting to violence and oppression the way later European explorers often did. After over 28 years and 7 total voyages across the oceans, Zheng He finally returned to China for good in 1433 as a celebrated hero. He had amazing stories to tell about the lands and people he encountered, and brought back exotic valuables for the emperor from across the maritime world. But after he passed away in 1435, China largely turned its focus inward formany centuries. It's mind-boggling to think that the Ming Dynasty could have charted course to reach the Americas or Australia had they continued the types of daring sea voyages Zheng He pioneered. He was a true trailblazer.I really look up to Zheng He as an example of a brave explorer who got to see incredible parts of the world that most people could never dream of back then. Even though he endured so much hardship and adversity early in his life, he worked hard, remained dedicated to the emperor, and accomplished amazing things by commanding those unbelievable treasure ship voyages. His story of perseverance, adventure, diplomacy, and discovery across the oceans makes him a legendary hero in my eyes. What I wouldn't give to be a cabin boy on one of those massive ships, sailing into the unknown alongside a Chinese hero and trailblazer like Zheng He!篇5My Favorite Famous Chinese Person: Yao MingHave you ever seen someone who is super tall, like really really tall? That's how I feel when I see Yao Ming! He's a former professional basketball player from China and he's one of the tallest people I've ever seen at 7 feet 6 inches (2.29 meters)! That's like two of my dads stacked on top of each other. Isn't that crazy?Yao Ming is my favorite famous Chinese person because he's an amazing basketball player, but also because he does a lot of cool stuff to help the world. I'll tell you all about why I admire him so much.First, let me tell you about his basketball career. Yao Ming played in the NBA, which is the best professional basketball league in the world. He played for the Houston Rockets from 2002 to 2011. In his first season, he was already one of the best players and got picked for the All-Star game! That's when they pick the best players from each conference to play against each other. Pretty cool, right? Not only was Yao an All-Star player, but he led the Rockets to the playoffs, which are the championship games at the end of the season, four times! The playoffs are super hard to get to. My favorite Yao Ming moment was in the 2009 playoffs when he had a crazy game against the Los Angeles Lakers. He scored 28 points and blocked 7 shots! That means he prevented the other team from scoring 7 times by batting the ball away. He played so well that night.Sadly, Yao had to retire in 2011 because of too many injuries from playing basketball his whole life. Injuries are when you get hurt, like an "ouchie" but way worse for professional athletes. Even though his basketball career was kind of short, he accomplished so much and made China proud on the world's biggest stage of the NBA.But did you know that Yao Ming has done even more amazing things after he stopped playing basketball? This is the part I love most about him.First of all, Yao Ming is a big animal lover, just like me! He has been an ambassador for animal protection groups trying to stop poachers from killing precious animals like elephants, rhinos, and sharks. A poacher is someone who illegally hunts animals, which is really mean. Yao made commercials and gave speeches telling people not to buy ivory or shark fin soup because it leads to killing those animals. Using his popularity from basketball, he could spread positive messages to millions of people about protecting amazing endangered species.Another cool thing Yao has done is start his own wine business! Can you believe it? A basketball player making his own wines. But it makes sense because Yao grew up in a wine-making region of China, so he has always appreciated great wines. Hiscompany creates high-quality red wines, which are my parents' favorite. Maybe when I'm older I'll get to try Yao's wines too! Finally, the thing I admire most about Yao Ming is how much he cares about his home country of China and wants to make it better. After he retired from the NBA, Yao went back to school and got his master's degree. Then in 2017, he was elected as one of the members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. A girl can dream though, right?篇4My Favorite Celebrity: Taylor SwiftI absolutely love Taylor Swift! She's my biggest role model and I admire her so much. At just 33 years old, she has accomplished incredble things that most people could only dream of.Taylor was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Even as a little kid, she loved singing and writing songs. Her first musical inspirations were her grandmother who was an opera singer, and her parents who loved country music. When Taylor was around 10 years old, a computer repairman taught her how to play guitar. After that, she was unstoppable!By the age of 14, Taylor had finished writing her first album which was called "Taylor Swift." Her parents helped get the album into the hands of every label in Nashville, but they all rejected her at first. Can you believe that? Finally, a small label called Big Machine signed her.Taylor's self-titled debut album came out in 2006 when she was just 16. It went triple platinum, which is super impressive for a new artist! Some of the hit songs were "Tim McGraw," "Teardrops on My Guitar," and "Our Song." With her fresh face, curly blonde hair, and sweet country sound, Taylor instantly won over fans across America. After the huge success of her first album, Taylor just kept getting bigger and bigger with each new release. Her lyrics come straight from personal experiences and emotions, which makes them feel so genuine and relatable. Whether singing about a crush, a broken heart, or dealing with haters, Taylor puts her heart and soul into every word. Her songwriting talent is out of this world, but Taylor is also an amazing performer. Her live shows are always a huge spectacle with impressive staging, choreography, costume changes, and visuals. Taylor has this remarkable ability to engage the entire crowd and make each fan feel like they are a part of the show. I went to her Reputation stadium tour a few years ago and it was hands down the best night of my life!In between recording albums and going on tour, Taylor also starred in a few movies and TV shows acting in roles here and there. She played a troubled teenager in the movie "Valentine's Day" and voiced characters in "The Lorax" and "The Giver." Taylor even had a storyline as herself on an episode of "New Girl" with Zooey Deschanel. I think it's really cool how she expands beyond just music too.Another reason why I love Taylor so much is her positive attitude and how she treats her fans, who are called "Swifties." Despite being one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, she still seems so down-to-earth and kind. Taylor is always going out of her way to surprise fans, whether it's sending them gifts, inviting them to a private listening party, or paying off their student loans. She genuinely cares about her fans and we all feel so appreciated by her.Taylor also uses her celebrity platform to stand up for great causes like artists' rights, LGBTQ+ equality, gender equality, and protecting our environment. In 2018 after years of staying out of politics, Taylor finally broke her silence and encouraged young people to vote and get involved. I have a lot of respect for her being brave enough to speak up on important issues she believes in.On top of her incredible talents and big heart, Taylor is also total fashion goals! She stunned at the 2022 VMAs in a shimmery diamond dress that apparently weighed almost 40 pounds. Her sparkling outfits for her Midnights era have been iconic too. From red carpet glam to casual street style, Taylor's looks are always so stylish and on point. If I could dress like any celeb, it would absolutely be her! It's amazing to think that the little girl writing songs in her bedroom in Pennsylvania grew up to be one of the most successful musicians of all time. Taylor has come such a long way and accomplished so much, yet she seems to stay so humble and true to herself. Her drive, ambition, and talent are unmatched.Taylor's lyrics, performances, personality, and style just make me admire her endlessly. Even though I've never met her, I feel like I really know her through her deeply personal and honest songwriting. Taylor has gotten me through some really tough times, and her music holds such a special place in my heart. I hope to be as confident, hardworking, and kind-hearted as her someday. Now that I've written nearly 2000 words, I could probably go on forever about why Taylor Swift is my absolute favorite celebrity! I'll spend hours analyzing every little detail and hiddenmeaning in her lyrics and music videos. My walls are covered with her posters and I have pretty much every piece of Taylor merch ever made. I'm counting down the days until her next tour...whenever that may be! Until then, I'll just be streaming her albums on repeat and daydreaming about the day I finally get to meet my idol, Taylor Swift.篇5My Favorite Celebrity: Taylor SwiftYou're probably thinking, "What's so special about Taylor Swift? Isn't she just another pop star?" Well, you couldn't be more wrong! Taylor is more than just a singer - she's a brilliant songwriter, a generous philanthropist, and an amazing role model for young people like me. Let me tell you why she's my absolute favorite celebrity.First off, Taylor's music is incredible. I've been a huge fan ever since her early country albums like Fearless and Speak Now. Her lyrics are so relatable and she has a magical way with words that makes you feel every emotion she's singing about. Whether it's a heartbreaking ballad or an upbeat pop anthem, Taylor captures the highs and lows of growing up perfectly. But what really sets Taylor apart is her songwriting talent. She writes or co-writes every single one of her songs, pouring her heart and soul into the lyrics. Can you imagine being that creative and gifted? Taylor has won countless awards for her songwriting, including being the first solo artist ever to win Album of the Year at the Grammys three times! Pretty amazing for someone who's just 33 years old.Another reason I admire Taylor is her kindness and generosity. She might be a global superstar, but she's never forgotten her roots or fans. Taylor is always going out of her way to surprise fans, whether it's leaving handwritten lyrics for them, sending them gifts, or even inviting them to hang out with her before concerts. How cool is that? She's also donated millions of dollars to charities like education funds, disaster relief efforts, and children's hospitals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Taylor gave money to fans who lost their jobs so they could pay rent and bills. She really is a wonderful human being. On top of her talents and kindness, Taylor is an inspiration for being true to herself no matter what. In an industry filled with pressure to look and act a certain way, she's stayed grounded and realistic. Taylor has been open about everything from herinsecurities and fears to her political views and love life. Her brave vulnerability empowers young people like me to embrace our true selves too.I'll never forget the first Taylor Swift concert I attended a couple years ago. The energy in the arena was absolutely electric! Taylor danced and sang her heart out for over two hours, putting on an incredible show. But my favorite part was when she took a break between songs to give an inspiring speech about following your dreams no matter how impossible they might seem. Hearing those words of wisdom from someone I admire so much was unforgettable. So yes, Taylor Swift might just seem like another pretty face in pop music. But to me and millions of others around the world, she's a role model, a prolific artist, and living proof that you can achieve anything if you work hard and stay true to yourself. Her journey from a young girl writing songs in Pennsylvania to one of the biggest stars on the planet is beyond inspiring.I could go on and on about why Taylor is the best celebrity ever, but I'll wrap it up now. In a world with so many negative influences, Taylor Swift shines as a positive force. I can't wait to see what she'll do next and continue supporting her every step of the way!篇6My Favorite Celebrity - Taylor SwiftI absolutely love Taylor Swift! She is my biggest role model and the person I admire most in the whole world. Taylor is an amazing singer-songwriter who has won 11 Grammy awards. Her music videos are so much fun to watch and her lyrics are super relatable for a teenager like me.I first became a Swiftie in 4th grade when my older sister played her album "1989" for me. I was instantly hooked on songs like "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", and "Bad Blood". The pop melodies were so catchy and I loved singing along. As I got older and experienced more life events, I started to really connect with the deeper meaning behind Taylor's lyrics about love, heartbreak, and growing up.One thing I admire most about Taylor is how she writes all her own songs and many are inspired by her personal life experiences. She is not afraid to open up and be vulnerable, which makes her music so raw and emotional. You can tell every word comes straight from her heart. I have read that Taylor evenuses experiences from her childhood and relationships in her songwriting. How cool is that?Another reason why Taylor is my idol is because of her work ethic and drive to constantly evolve as an artist. With each new album cycle, she reinvents her sound and image while still staying true to herself. My personal favorite era was her transition to a more indie folk vibe with albums like "Folklore" and "Evermore" during the pandemic. Songs like "August" and "Betty" showed her incredible storytelling abilities.Despite being one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, Taylor has managed to stay super relatable and down-to-earth. She uses her platform to speak out on issues like politics, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial injustice. Taylor is a proud feminist and always uplifts other women through her music and words. 我最喜欢的名人白求恩英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Celebrity, Norman BethuneDo you know who Norman Bethune is? He's my favorite celebrity ever! I learned about him in school, and I think he's the coolest person in history. Let me tell you all about him and why I admire him so much.Norman Bethune was a Canadian doctor who lived a long time ago. He was born in 1890 in a small town called Gravenhurst, which is in Canada. Even as a young boy, Norman loved helping people and wanted to become a doctor. He worked really hard in school and eventually got his dream of becoming a doctor! After becoming a doctor, Norman Bethune started working in Montreal, which is a big city in Canada. But he didn't just help people in his city. Oh no, Norman Bethune was always looking for ways to help people all over the world, especially those who were really poor and didn't have access to good medical care.In 1936, Norman Bethune went to Spain to help the people there who were suffering from a terrible war. He set up mobile medical units right on the battlefield! Can you imagine how brave and selfless he was? He risked his own life to save the lives of soldiers and civilians caught in the fighting. But Norman Bethune's biggest adventure happened in 1938 when he went to China. At that time, China was also in the middle of a war against Japan. The Japanese army had invaded many parts of China, and the Chinese people were struggling to defend their country. Norman Bethune joined the Chinese army as a military doctor and helped treat wounded soldiers. What makes Norman Bethune so special is that he didn't just treat the soldiers' physical wounds. He also tried his best to make their lives a little bit better, even in the middle of a terrible war. For example, he invented a special type of medical vehicle that could transport injured soldiers from the battlefield to the hospital quickly and safely. This saved the lives of many Chinese soldiers.Norman Bethune was also really good at training other doctors and nurses. He taught them all the latest medical techniques so they could provide better care to the soldiers. Even though the conditions were harsh and resources werelimited, Norman Bethune never gave up. He worked tirelessly, day and night, to help as many people as possible.Sadly, Norman Bethune died in 1939 from an infection he got while operating on a soldier. He was only 49 years old. The Chinese people were so sad when he died because they loved him so much. They even built a special monument in his honor, and schools in China still teach students about his life and his incredible contributions. So why is Norman Bethune my favorite celebrity? Well, first of all, he was a real-life hero who risked everything to help others. He didn't care about money or fame; he just wanted to make the world a better place. Secondly, he was incredibly brave and selfless. He went to dangerous places and put his own life on the line to save people he didn't even know. But most importantly, Norman Bethune taught me that one person really can make a difference in the world. He showed that even in the darkest and most difficult times, a single act of kindness and compassion can bring hope and comfort to those suffering.I hope that when I grow up, I can be even a little bit like Norman Bethune. I want to help people, no matter where they're from or what their circumstances are. I want to be brave andselfless, and always try my best to make the world a better place, even if it's just in a small way.Norman Bethune is proof that anyone can be a hero, no matter how ordinary they might seem. He's my favorite celebrity because he's a real-life example of what it means to be a good human being. And that's the most important thing of all.篇2My Favorite Famous Person - Dr. Norman BethuneDr. Norman Bethune was a really cool and amazing person that I learned about in school. He was a doctor from Canada who went to China to help the people there during a very difficult war time. Even though he was from far away, he cared so much about helping others that he traveled across the world to use his medical skills in China. One thing I really admire about Dr. Bethune is how brave and selfless he was. Back in the 1930s, there was a big war going on in China between the Chinese people and the Japanese invaders. A lot of Chinese soldiers and civilians were getting hurt and sick, but there weren't enough doctors to help everyone. That's when Dr. Bethune decided to go to China from Canada to be a battlefield doctor and surgeon. Can you imagine how scarythat must have been? The fighting was so intense, with bombs and bullets everywhere. But Dr. Bethune didn't think about his own safety - he just wanted to save lives. From what I've learned, Dr. Bethune worked pretty much non-stop, day and night, treating anyone who needed help - soldiers, villagers, even the enemy's wounded troops. He performed lots of complicated surgeries in really harsh conditions, like in simple huts or caves without much equipment or supplies. But he was such a skilled doctor that he could do amazing things anyway. One story I remember is about him operating on a soldier by just using a few simple tools and a flashlight held by a nurse to see by. That's incredible! Not only was Dr. Bethune an excellent doctor, but he was also admired for being so kind, humble and genuinely caring about people. He didn't just treat their physical injuries, but tried to make them feel better emotionally too with his friendly personality. Sometimes he would even give his own bedroll to an injured soldier to make them more comfortable. The Chinese people grew to love and respect him so much that they affectionately called him "Bai Qiu'en" which means "The foreigner who insists on complete equality between races."Dr. Bethune worked tirelessly to help heal the sick and wounded until he got very ill himself from all the poor living conditions and lack of rest. Sadly, in 1939 when he was only 49 years old, he passed away from his sickness. People in China were devastated at losing their beloved "Dr. Ai" (another nickname meaning "The Beloved/Admired One"). To honor his memory, even the top Chinese leader at the time, Mao Zedong, wrote an essay praising Dr. Bethune as an role model for his totally selfless spirit in serving the people.Every year in China on December 28th, which was Dr. Bethune's birthday, there are ceremonies and events celebrating his life and amazing humanitarian work. In my opinion, he is definitely one of the most inspirational historical figures I've learned about. Even though he came from the other side of the world, Dr. Bethune displayed the most compassionate and caring qualities a person can have. His dedication to helping others at all costs, no matter how difficult the circumstances, is something I really look up to.When I'm older, I hope I can be as brave, selfless and caring as Dr. Bethune was. He showed that anyone can make a huge difference in the world, even just one person, as long as they have a good heart and are willing to work hard for a importantcause. Dr. Bethune's spirit of internationalism - recognizing our common humanity and being willing to help anyone in need no matter where they're from - is also an ideal that I think篇3My Favorite Famous Person: Dr. Norman BethuneHave you ever heard of a person who was so kind and brave that they gave up their own life to help others? Well, let me tell you about my favorite famous person, Dr. Norman Bethune. He was a Canadian doctor who went to China during a very difficult time, and he did amazing things to help the Chinese people.Dr. Bethune was born in 1890 in a small town called Gravenhurst, which is in Canada. When he was a little boy, he loved to play outside and explore the wilderness. His parents taught him to be kind and helpful to others, and he grew up to be a really nice person. After he finished school, Dr. Bethune became a doctor. He wanted to help people who were sick or injured, especially those who didn't have a lot of money. He worked in many hospitals in different countries, but he was always looking for new ways to help people in need.In 1938, Dr. Bethune heard about the war that was happening in China. The Japanese army was invading China, and many Chinese people were getting hurt or killed. Dr. Bethune knew that he had to do something to help, so he decided to go to China and join the Chinese army as a doctor. When he arrived in China, Dr. Bethune was shocked to see how many people were suffering from the war. There were not enough doctors or hospitals to take care of all the injured soldiers and civilians. But Dr. Bethune didn't give up. He set up a mobile medical unit, which was like a hospital on wheels, and he traveled to different battlefields to treat the wounded.Dr. Bethune worked day and night, sometimes for 20 hours straight, to save as many lives as possible. He didn't care if the people he was helping were Chinese or Japanese – he just wanted to help anyone who needed it. He even gave blood transfusions to the wounded soldiers, using his own blood when there wasn't enough available. One of the things that made Dr. Bethune so special was that he didn't just treat people's physical wounds; he also tried to make them feel better emotionally. He would sit and talk with the soldiers, telling them jokes and stories to cheer them up. He's my favorite famous person ever! Dr. Bethune was a Canadian doctor who lived a long time ago, but he did so many amazing things that people still talk about him today.Dr. Bethune was born in 1890 in a small town called Gravenhurst, which is in Canada. When he was a little boy, he loved to explore the great outdoors and go on adventures in the woods near his home. His parents were both teachers, and they taught him to care about others and help those in need.As he grew older, Dr. Bethune decided he wanted to become a doctor so he could help sick people feel better. He studied really hard and went to medical school. After he became a doctor, he started working in hospitals in Canada and the United States. But Dr. Bethune didn't just want to help people in his own country. He wanted to help people all over the world, especially those who were really poor and didn't have access to good medical care. That's why, in 1936, he decided to go to Spain to help the people there who were suffering during the Spanish Civil War.In Spain, Dr. Bethune set up mobile medical units called "blood transfusion units." These units could go right to the battlefields and give injured soldiers blood transfusions to savetheir lives. Dr. Bethune performed many blood transfusions himself, and he even developed new techniques for doing them quickly and safely. After the war in Spain ended, Dr. Bethune went to China to help the Chinese people who were fighting against the Japanese invaders. He joined the Communist Eighth Route Army and set up medical stations to treat wounded soldiers and civilians. Dr. Bethune worked tirelessly, often going without sleep for days at a time, to make sure everyone got the medical care they needed. One of the coolest things about Dr. Bethune is that he didn't just treat people's physical injuries – he also cared about their emotional well-being. He would sing songs and tell jokes to his patients to cheer them up and keep their spirits high. The Chinese people loved him so much that they gave him the nickname "Bai Qiu-en," which means "The Great Compassionate One."Sadly, Dr. Bethune didn't live a very long life. In 1939, when he was only 49 years old, he developed a serious infection after performing an operation. Even though he was very sick himself, he kept working to help others until the very end. He died on November 12, 1939, in a small village in China. After Dr. Bethune's death, the Chinese people were so grateful for everything he had done for them that they built a monument in his honor. They also wrote poems and stories about his life and courage. Even the leader of China at the time, Mao Zedong, wrote an essay praising Dr. Bethune's selfless spirit and calling him a "a man of the highest qualities."To this day, Dr. Norman Bethune is remembered as a hero in both Canada and China. He showed that one person can make a big difference in the world by having compassion for others and being willing to help those in need, no matter where they're from or what their circumstances are. That's why Dr. Bethune is my favorite famous person. He was brave, kind, and dedicated his life to helping others. He didn't care about making money or becoming famous – he just wanted to use his medical skills to make the world a better place. I hope that when I grow up, I can be as caring and courageous as Dr. Bethune was.篇5My Favorite Famous Person: Dr. Norman BethuneHave you ever heard of Dr. Norman Bethune? He was a really cool guy who lived a long time ago. I learned about him in school and he quickly became my favorite famous person ever!Dr. Bethune was born way back in 1890 in a small town in Canada. Even as a kid, he had a big heart and always wanted to help others. His parents taught him that it was important to be kind and care about people, no matter how rich or poor they were. When he grew up, Dr. Bethune became a doctor and a surgeon. But he wasn't just any regular doctor. You see, back in those days, many people couldn't afford to see a doctor or go to the hospital when they got sick or injured. Dr. Bethune felt really bad about that. He believed that everyone deserved good medical care, rich or poor.So Dr. Bethune started going to poor neighborhoods and treating people for free, even though he didn't have much money himself. He would set up little medical stations wherever he could – in people's homes, in churches, even on the street! He wanted to make sure nobody went without the medical help they needed.Dr. Bethune was amazing at surgery too. He could perform operations that hardly any other doctors could do at that time. And get this – he invented over 20 different surgical tools and techniques that made operations easier and safer for patients! Pretty cool, right? But Dr. Bethune's biggest adventure happened in 1938 when he went to China. You see, China was at war with Japan back then and lots of Chinese soldiers were getting hurt in the fighting. The Chinese didn't have many doctors to help the wounded soldiers though. That's where Dr. Bethune came in!Dr. Bethune joined the Chinese army and set up mobile medical units right on the battlefields. He operated on thousands of injured soldiers, sometimes for up to 20 hours straight! The soldiers loved him because he treated them with such kindness and respect. They started calling him "Ba Qiu'en" which means "The Divine Transcendent" in Chinese.Dr. Bethune worked tirelessly to help the Chinese soldiers. He didn't take any days off and barely slept. At one point, he had to perform an operation on himself because he had developed a nasty infection! Talk about hardcore!Sadly, Dr. Bethune died in 1939 after cutting himself during surgery. He got an infection that spread and made him really ill. Even though the doctors tried their best, they couldn't save him. Dr. Bethune was only 49 years old when he died. It was such atragedy to lose someone so caring and selfless at such a young age.But you know what? Dr. Bethune's legacy lives on. People in China were so grateful for all he did that they built statues and museums honoring him. A hospital was even named after him! In Canada, schools and hospitals also carry his name to remind everyone of his amazing humanitarian spirit.I really admire Dr. Bethune because he always put others before himself. He used his talents as a doctor and surgeon to help people in need, no matter where they were from or how poor they were. His kindness and compassion made the world a better place.Whenever I grow up, I want to be just like Dr. Bethune –someone who makes a positive difference in people's lives through hard work and caring about others. He is my hero because he showed that one person really can change the world, as long as they have a good heart. That's why Dr. Norman Bethune will always be my favorite famous person.篇6My Favorite Famous Person: Norman BethuneHave you ever heard of Norman Bethune? He was a really amazing doctor who lived a long time ago. I first learned about him in my history class and I thought his story was so cool that he became my favorite famous person!Norman Bethune was born in Canada in 1890. When he was a young man, he went to school to become a doctor. But he wasn't just any regular doctor. Norman Bethune really cared about helping poor people who couldn't afford medical care.Even as a student, he would go to poor neighborhoods and treat sick people for free. One time, he was out delivering a baby and the family had no money to pay him. Norman didn't care - he just wanted to help the mom and baby. That's the kind of caring person he was. After finishing school, Norman Bethune worked at hospitals in Montreal and other cities. He could have made a lot of money as a fancy doctor for rich people. But instead, he chose to open up a small clinic in a poor area to treat patients for free or very little cost. Norman didn't care about getting rich. His only goal was helping people in need.In 1936, there was a terrible war going on in Spain between the government and rebel groups. Hospitals were getting bombed and they really needed doctors to help treat all theinjured people. When Norman Bethune heard about this, he left his job in Canada and went to Spain as a volunteer. He set up a mobile blood transfusion service right on the frontlines of the battlefield! This was very dangerous, with bombs and bullets flying everywhere. But Norman didn't care about the risks. He was determined to save as many lives as possible with his blood transfusions. The way he worked was just incredible. Norman and his team would collect blood from soldiers behind the lines. Then they would rush up to injured troops and give them direct blood transfusions right there on the battlefield! This was before blood banks or modern ambulances, so what Norman did was pioneering work.Norman's bravery and skills helped treat over 5,000 wounded soldiers and civilians during the Spanish Civil War. He performed medical miracles and saved so many lives. The soldiers called him the "English Piece of Shrapnel" because he would quietly slip in and out of battles to treat the wounded. To me, he's a real-life superhero! After Spain, Norman Bethune went to help on the frontlines of another war - this time the Second Sino-Japanese War in China. This was in 1938 when Japan was invading parts of China.Just like in Spain, Norman left the safety of Canada behind so he could use his medical skills where they were needed most.In China, he treated injured Chinese soldiers and civilians with the same fearless spirit he had shown in Spain. Norman performed surgery after surgery, sometimes operating for 20 hours straight! He would even roll up his sleeves to physically carry wounded soldiers to safety when no stretchers were available. The people of China loved Norman Bethune for his selfless work ethic and the way he cared about every patient, no matter if they were just a poor farmer or an important official. He became a hero and bright symbol of hope during some of China's darkest hours of that terrible war.Sadly, Norman's time in China was cut short after he cut his finger during surgery. Back then they didn't have antibiotics, so a small infection turned deadly. In 1939, at just 49 years old, this incredible doctor passed away far too young. The people of China were devastated to lose someone who had given his life to help them. Norman Bethune's ideals and humanitarian spirit were so inspirational that he became a cultural icon. Stories of his selflessness and bravery were taught to generations of Chinese children as an example to live by.I think Norman Bethune's life story is simply amazing. What I admire most about him is how genuinely good-hearted he was. He could have chosen an easy, comfortable life as a doctor for the rich. Instead, he decided to take his talents to the most difficult and dangerous places on Earth. Not because he wanted money or fame, but simply because he wanted to help heal the sick and injured.Norman risked his life over and over again by going to different war zones to treat wounded soldiers and civilians. He did whatever it took to care for his patients, even if that meant working around the clock without rest. To me, that's the ultimate example of courage, kindness and selflessness all in one person.I'm sure Norman Bethune would be the first to say he was just doing his job as a doctor. But to millions of people around the world, he was a real-life hero who symbolized the very best of humanity. His amazing legacy of service lives on today and continues to inspire new generations, including kids like me.When I grow up, I hope I can be just a little bit like the great Dr. Norman Bethune - brave, caring and always willing to help those in need, no matter what. He truly was one of the most extraordinary people who ever lived. That's why Norman Bethune will always be my favorite famous person!。

喜欢的名人英语作文包括定语从句宾语从句全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Famous Person: Malala YousafzaiThere are many famous people in the world who have done amazing things. But my favorite is a girl named Malala Yousafzai, who has shown incredible bravery and determination in fighting for girls' education. She is the person I admire most.Malala was born in 1997 in Pakistan, a country where at that time many girls were not allowed to go to school. Her father ran a school and believed strongly that all children, both boys and girls, should have the right to an education. From a very young age, Malala shared her father's passion for learning. When Malala was just 11 years old, the Taliban took control of her town. The Taliban are an extremist group who have very strict rules, including banning girls from attending school. They issued an order saying that girls could no longer be educated. But Malala refused to stay home. "How dare they take away my basic right to education?" she said defiantly.Malala began speaking out publicly in favor of girls' education. She gave speeches and wrote a blog under a fake name, describing what life was like under Taliban rule. People all over the world learned about the brave young girl who was risking her life for the chance to go to school.Tragically, the Taliban decided to punish Malala for her bold words. In October 2012, when she was just 15 years old, a gunman boarded Malala's school bus and shot her in the head. She was critically injured and had to be flown to England for special medical treatment that saved her life. Many people expected that after being attacked so violently, Malala would stop her activism out of fear. But she only became more determined than ever. While recovering from her injuries, she said, "The terrorists thought they would change my aims and stop my ambitions, but nothing changed in my life except this: weakness, fear and hopelessness died. Strength, power and courage were born."Since the shooting, Malala has become a global icon for girls' education and human rights. She has given speeches at the United Nations and universities around the world. She has written a book called I Am Malala. And in 2014, at the amazingage of just 17, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, making her the youngest person ever to receive that honor. When asked why she keeps fighting even after nearly being killed, Malala says this: "Let us pick up our books and our pens. They are our most powerful weapons." She believes education is the only way to create lasting peace. "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world," she declares. What makes Malala so special is not just that she stands up for human rights, but that she does it with wisdom, humility, and incredible courage in the face of violence and oppression. Even after becoming a global celebrity, she remains focused on her simple message: All children, especially girls, deserve access to education no matter where they live or what their culture says.At times, the road ahead for Malala has seemed hopeless. The Taliban still control parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan today, and continue to attack schools and issue threats against her life. Progress is incredibly slow. But Malala never gives up hope. She says, "With guns you can kill terrorists, with education you can kill terrorism."To me, those words sum up the spirit and strength of this extraordinary person who I so admire. In the face of brutal oppression, instead of responding with violence or hatred,Malala chooses to fight back with something even more powerful: the pen, the book, the invitation to open minds through knowledge and empathy.Malala is still just a young woman, not even 30 years old yet.I can only imagine the great things she will go on to achieve and how many millions more lives she will transform through her passionate belief in every child's right to education. She is living proof that one person really can change the world, simply by having the courage to speak up for what they believe in.That is why Malala Yousafzai is my favorite famous person and personal hero. She shows that even a young girl, when empowered by education and an unshakeable spirit, can move mountains, shift minds, and create lasting change for all of humanity. She makes me want to use my voice and stand up for important causes, just like she did at such a young age. I hope that one day, like Malala, I too can be a force for positive change in the world.篇2My Favorite Celebrity: Cristiano RonaldoDo you have a favorite celebrity whom you admire a lot? For me, the person I look up to the most is Cristiano Ronaldo, who isa famous soccer player from Portugal. He is known for his intense training regimen, which includes rigorous workouts, strict diets, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. This dedication has paid off in countless ways, as he has won numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. One of Cristiano Ronaldo's greatest achievements, which I find particularly inspiring, is the fact that he has won the Ballon d'Or, the most prestigious individual award in soccer, a record five times. This award is given to the best player in the world each year, and winning it even once is considered a monumental accomplishment. However, Cristiano Ronaldo's five wins are atestament to his exceptional talent and unwavering commitment to excellence. In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Cristiano Ronaldo is also an inspiration off the field. He is known for his charitable work and has supported various causes, including childhood hunger, disaster relief, and education. He has also been a vocal advocate for children's rights and has worked with organizations like Save the Children and UNICEF.One of the things that I find most admirable about Cristiano Ronaldo is the way he handles himself in the face of adversity. Michael Jordan! He's the coolest basketball player ever and I really look up to him. Michael Jordan is a super tall guy who played for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. He won six championship rings, which is a lot!I first learned about Michael Jordan from my dad, who is a huge basketball fan. He showed me videos of Jordan playing and I was amazed at how high he could jump. It was like he could fly! My dad has told me many stories about the amazing thingsJordan did on the court, like the time he scored a ton of points with the flu. That's unbelievable if you ask me.What makes Michael Jordan so special is not just that he was really good at basketball. It's that he worked extremely hard and never gave up, no matter what challenges he faced. Jordan grew up poor and had to overcome a lot of obstacles. But he practiced basketball for hours and hours every single day when he was a kid. His hard work and determination paid off big time.Another thing I admire about Michael Jordan is his competitiveness. He never wanted to lose at anything! Jordan always played to win and would do whatever it took to come out on top. My dad says that's why he was such a clutch performer who could make amazing game-winning shots. Jordan believed he could succeed no matter how difficult the situation was.Off the court, Michael Jordan seems like a pretty cool guy too. From what I've read, he was always nice to his fans and took time to sign autographs, especially for kids. Jordan also did a lot of charity work and tried to be a good role model. Those are great qualities in a celebrity if you ask me.I've learned some important life lessons from reading and hearing about Michael Jordan over the years. One is that hard work and practice are the keys to success in anything you do.Talent alone isn't enough - you have to put in the time and effort to get better every day. That's what Michael did with basketball from a very young age.Another lesson is to always believe in yourself, even when others doubt you. A lot of people told Michael Jordan he was too skinny or too short to play in the NBA. But he ignored the haters and proved them all wrong through his skills and determination. Having that kind of self-confidence is so important. The third big lesson I've taken from Michael Jordan is to be fiercely competitive and never give up, no matter what obstacles you face. There were many times in Jordan's career when he was injured or his team was trailing in a big game. But he never stopped fighting and refusing to lose. That mindset of perseverance is inspiring to me.Those are just some of the reasons why Michael Jordan is my favorite celebrity of all time. He's an amazing athlete who overcame the odds to become a global superstar. But more importantly, he taught millions of kids like me the value of hard work, self-belief, competitiveness and never giving up on your dreams. That's a lasting legacy that goes way beyond basketball.I hope that when I grow up, I can have even a fraction of the drive, passion and mental toughness that Michael Jordandisplayed throughout his career. If I can work as hard as he did and believe in myself no matter what, then I'll be able to achieve great things too. Michael Jordan is the kind of celebrity role model that every kid should look up to. He's simply the best ever!篇4My Favorite Famous Person: J.K. RowlingJ.K. Rowling is my favorite famous person because she is the author who wrote the Harry Potter books, which are the best books ever written! I remember the first time I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It was a book that my mom got for me when I was in second grade. At first, I didn't think I would like it because it was such a thick book with hardly any pictures. But once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down! The story is about a young boy named Harry Potter who lives with his mean aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. Harry doesn't know that he is a wizard until one day, when he turns 11 years old. That's when a giant named Hagrid shows up and tells Harry that he has been accepted to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is a special school for youngwizards where they learn all about magic. It's a boarding school, which means that the students live there during the school year.At Hogwarts, Harry makes two best friends named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron comes from a family of wizards, while Hermione was born to normal human (or "Muggle") parents. Together, the three friends have many exciting adventures and get into all sorts of trouble and danger. They have to fight against the evil wizard Voldemort, who is trying to take over the wizard world. What I love most about the Harry Potter books are the characters who J.K. Rowling created. Harry is such a brave and loyal friend. Hermione is the smart one who does really well in her classes. And Ron is the funny one who provides a lot of the comic relief. There are also many other amazing characters like Dumbledore, who is the wise headmaster of Hogwarts, and Hagrid, the kind gamekeeper who introduces Harry to the wizard world. My favorite characters are the Weasley twins, Fred and George, who are expert pranksters and are always making jokes.Another reason why I admire J.K. Rowling is because of her incredible imagination. In the Harry Potter books, she has created an entire wizard world that feels completely real. There are so many creative details like talking paintings, living chesspieces, ghosts that haunt the school, magical potions, flying broomsticks for Quidditch matches, and so much more. It's amazing that she could come up with such an immersive fantasy world. Not only did J.K. Rowling write great books, but she is an inspiring person too. She faced many challenges in her life before becoming a successful author. J.K. Rowling grew up with a difficult family situation and had to overcome poverty. She was a single mother living on welfare while writing the first Harry Potter book. Many publishers rejected the book at first because they didn't think it would be popular. But J.K. Rowling never gave up on her dream.Once the first book was finally published in 1997, it became an immediate bestseller. The Harry Potter series went on to become the best-selling book series in history, with over 500 million copies sold worldwide. The books were so beloved that they were made into eight blockbuster movies as well.J.K. Rowling's success story teaches the valuable lesson that you should never stop pursuing your ambitions, no matter how many obstacles you face. If you work hard and believe in yourself, anything is possible. That's a message that has motivated and inspired millions of kids like me.The Harry Potter books mean so much to me because they sparked my imagination and love for reading at a young age. Whenever I read the books, I was transported to the magical world that J.K. Rowling created. I'll never forget the thrill of rooting for Harry, Ron and Hermione as they battled villains, solved mysteries, and learned important lessons about friendship, courage and doing what is right.Even though I've read all seven books multiple times already, I know I'll keep re-reading them over and over again as I get older. Harry Potter is a series that readers of all ages can enjoy. The storytelling is so rich and the themes are so meaningful and timeless. That's why J.K. Rowling, the genius mind who conceived of the Wizarding World, is my favorite famous person. She took an ordinary young boy like Harry and created extraordinary adventures for him that have inspired millions upon millions of fans around the world. Her books taught me that we all have magic inside us, and that we should never be afraid to dream big. Harry Potter will forever be a huge part of my childhood that I'll always cherish.篇5My Favorite Celebrity: Taylor SwiftYou know who my favorite celebrity is? Taylor Swift! She's the best singer ever. I absolutely love her music. My big sister introduced me to Taylor's songs when I was really little, and I've been a huge fan ever since.Taylor is now 33 years old, which seems ancient to me since I'm only 10. But she's still making awesome music that I can't get enough of. Her latest album "Midnights" came out last year, and I've probably listened to it a thousand times already. My favorite song is the one called "Anti-Hero" because the lyrics are so catchy and relatable. Taylor has a special way with words that no other singer has. What I really admire about Taylor is how hard-working she is. She writes or co-writes all of her own songs, which is really impressive. The songwriting process can't be easy, but Taylor makes it look effortless. She finds inspiration from her own life experiences, emotions, and imagination to create lyrics that millions of fans around the world connect with deeply. That's a true talent if you ask me.Another cool thing about Taylor is that she's an amazing performer. I've watched countless videos of her live concerts online, and she always looks like she's having the time of her lifeon stage. Can you imagine getting to sing in front of huge crowds of adoring fans every night? That would be a dream come true! Taylor dances and interacts with the audience in such a fun way during her shows. I really hope I get to see her perform live someday. While her musical abilities are extraordinary, Taylor is also someone who seems like a really good person off-stage too. She's known for treating her fans, who she calls her "Swifties", with a lot of kindness and respect. Taylor goes out of her way to connect with her followers by leaving them surprise messages and even inviting some of them to attend her concerts for free! She hasn't forgotten what it's like to be a fan herself. Taylor also uses her platform for good by speaking out about causes that are important to her like protecting artists' rights and supporting education for young girls. Those are just a few reasons why I look up to her so much.Of course, part of being a huge celebrity means dealing with scrutiny from the media and online trolls. Taylor has definitely had her fair share of ridiculous rumors spread about her personal life and relationships over the years. What I admire is how she's learned to handle that negativity with maturity and grace. In her documentary film Miss Americana, which my parents let mewatch even though it's not rated for kids, Taylor opens up about her past struggles with an eating disorder and body image issues. Those are tough topics that I can't fully relate to yet as a kid, but it was brave of her to share those vulnerable experiences so openly. I'm sure her honesty has helped many of her fans feel less alone when going through similar challenges.Taylor's authentic songwriting also allows her to process complex emotions like heartbreak, insecurity, and finding your sense of self - feelings that even young kids can understand on some level. That's one reason why her music connects with such a wide range of ages. Whenever I'm feeling sad or confused about something, listening to Taylor's lyrics is like getting advice from an older sister or friend who just "gets" it, you know?Overall, I really look up to Taylor as a role model because she embodies qualities that are important to me like working hard, being a good friend, being charitable, speaking your mind, and not letting fear hold you back from pursuing your dreams - in her case, that was becoming one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. She's proof that when you're passionate about something and put in the effort, you can make the impossible possible!Who knows, maybe I'll be a famous singer-songwriter like Taylor Swift when I grow up. I've already started writing songs in my childhood diary, filled with lyrics about things a 10-year-old girl experiences like fighting with my little brother or wishing I could stay up past my bedtime. I have a long way to go, but Taylor has shown me that I shouldn't be afraid to use my voice and bring more light into the world through my words and music. There are so many other reasons why Taylor Swift is my favorite celebrity - I could honestly go on and on! But those are some of the biggest ones. Her songs and positive message have made such a big impact on my life already, and I know I'll continue admiring her for years to come no matter how old I get. Taylor has that indefinable "it" factor that only a select few stars ever achieve, and I'll always be grateful that I got to grow up being a "Swiftie." Yep, she's simply the best! And if you haven't listened to Taylor's music yet, well, you're really missing out.篇6My Favorite Famous Person: Malala YousafzaiHave you ever heard of Malala Yousafzai? She is my biggest hero and the famous person I admire most. Malala is a Pakistaniactivist who has done so much for girls' education at a very young age. Let me tell you all about her!Malala was born in 1997 in the Swat Valley region of Pakistan. From a young age, she loved going to school and learning new things. However, the Taliban group that controlled her area did not think girls should get an education. They blew up many schools and threatened families who let their daughters study. Even so, Malala kept attending classes because she valued her right to learn so deeply. When Malala was just 11 years old, she started writing a blog under a fake name for the BBC. In the blog posts, which the BBC staff helped her write, she described what life was like under the Taliban's harsh rules. She spoke out bravely against the injustice of girls being forbidden from getting an education. Even though it was very dangerous, Malala used this platform to advocate for the rights of Pakistani girls.Pretty soon, Malala became quite famous in Pakistan for her activism and for speeches she gave promoting girls' schooling. Sadly, this made her a target for the Taliban. In October 2012, when Malala was just 15 years old, a Taliban gunman boarded her school bus and shot her in the head! Thankfully, Malala survived the attack after receiving emergency medical treatment. However, the gunshot left her partially paralyzed on one side of her face. After recovering from her injuries, Malala did not allow this violent act to silence her voice. Instead, she continued speaking out more boldly than ever for girls' education rights around the world. She gave inspiring speeches at places like the United Nations and met with leaders calling for change. In 2014, when she was only 17 years old, Malala became the youngest person ever to receive the Nobel Peace Prize! The committee chose her for her "struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education."Since then, Malala has written a bestselling book titled "I Am Malala" and started a non-profit organization called the Malala Fund. This fund has helped over 130 million girls get access to quality education and has worked in countries like Pakistan, Lebanon, Nigeria, and more. Malala also graduated from Oxford University in 2020 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. There are so many reasons why I admire Malala! First of all, she is incredibly brave and determined. Despite all the threats and violence against her, Malala never stopped fighting for what she believed in. That takes a lot of courage, especially at such ayoung age. I don't know if I would be that fearless in her situation.Another reason Malala inspires me is how passionate she is about helping others and creating change in the world. Ever since she was a little kid, getting an education was the most important thing to her. But she didn't just want it for herself - she wanted to ensure all girls everywhere could go to school too. That's a very selfless way of looking at things.I'm in awe of how much Malala has already accomplished while still being quite young. Giving inspiring speeches to world leaders, writing books, starting an organization to fund girls' education globally - these are amazing achievements that have impacted millions of lives. Most adults haven't done that much! I can only dream of being that successful and making such a positive difference by the time I'm her age. What I love most about Malala is her wisdom and strength of character. She says things like "One child, one teacher, one book, and one pen can change the world." That's such a powerful yet simple message that education is the key to progress. Despite facing unimaginable hardships, Malala remains hopeful, determined and kind. Those are wonderful values to embody.Malala once said "Let us pick up our books and our pens. They are our most powerful weapons." I couldn't agree more! As a student myself, getting an education is so precious to me, just like it is to Malala. She has shown the entire world that girls are just as capable and deserving of opportunities as boys. Her life's mission of fighting for girls' education rights is something I deeply respect.I know this essay has been quite long already, but there is still so much I could say about why Malala Yousafzai inspires me! From her intellect to her resilience to her compassion, she truly is an extraordinary role model that the whole world can look up to.I hope that one day, I can be as brave, passionate and determined as Malala in standing up for my beliefs and working to make the world better. She proves that one young person really can create transformative change. That gives me so much hope for the future!。
