As our ship cruised along thecoastline, we saw dozens of dolphins gracefully jumping out of the water! It was amazing to see them swimming so close. Our tour guide told us they migrate through this area every summer and were very friendly creatures. During summer I can sleep all the way until 10 or even 11am if I want! Isn't that great? Then I'll roll out of bed and eat a huge stack of pancakes with maple syrup and whipped cream on top. The perfect start to a lazy summer day.After breakfast, I'll put on my swimsuit and head outside. My parents are getting me a new above-ground swimming pool forthe backyard. It's going to be so cool to have my very own pool right there. I can swim and play in it all day long whenever I want. No more having to walk or get a ride to the community pool. My pool at home will be so much better!If I get tired of swimming, I can lay out in the sun and work on my tan. I'll slather on lots of tanning oil so I can get nice and brown over the summer.
