(1)看看上下文中有没有生词的另 一种说法,即找同义词。或有时上下 文会对一个生词作解释,或者提供它 相应的反义词。
(2)遇到代词(如it, that, them 等)不用愁,就往前文或前一句的人 或事物看,再对照选项得出答案。
(3)构词法:分析这个词的构成,尤其 是词的前缀和后缀。英语中很多词都是加 前缀或后缀变来的。比如你认识这两个词 write和similar,根据前缀re-和后缀-ity 的含义,你就可以准确地猜出rewrite和 similarity这两个词的意思。
