Language points 1. Whose is this? 这是谁的?
whose是who的所有格,意思是“谁的” 。询 问“某(些)物是谁的”结构是“Whose + be动 词 + …?”
例句:—那是谁的? —它是汤姆的钱包。 Whose is this? It’s Tom’s wallet.
2. Is this your wallet, Lingling? 玲玲,这是你的钱包吗? No, it isn’t. 不,它不是。
“Is this your wallet, Lingling?” 是一般疑问句,询 问某物是否是某人的。其句子结构是“be动词 +主语+ 形容词性的主物代词 + 名词?”。
肯定回答:Yes, … is/are., 否定回答:No, … isn’t/aren’t.
例句:—这些是你们的衣服吗? —是的,他们是。 Are these your clothes? Yes, they are.
3. Here you are. 给你。
这句话表示要把某物递给某人,意思是“给你; 拿去吧;这就是你要的东西”。
例句:—把你的钱包给我。 —给你。 Give me your wallet. Here you are.
