I knocked at his door and said," Good evening, Mr Yang! Could you please turn down your TV

“Oh, I'm really sorry to have disturbed you. We'll do as you say.” My neighbor said politely.

"Thank you very much.' I said and went back to continue my study.

2．About 9 o'clock yesterday evening, I was busy preparing for my tomorrow's test when suddenly loud noises came into my room. My neighbor was watching a football game on TV in his room. The noise was so loud that I couldn't go on studying. I covered my ears with hands, but it was

no use. I became so impatient that I had to go to explain my difficulty. After hearing what I said, my neighbor apologized and turned down the TV immediately. I thanked him and went back to continue my study.

3．Last night I was preparing for the coming examination when the noise from my neighbor interrupted me. The noise went on and on. It was so loudly that I could hardly pay attention to my study any longer. So I went to my neighbour’s house and said to him: “Excuse me, would you please turn down the TV? I’m preparing tomorrow’s examination.” Having heard these words, his face went red. And he said, “Ok, I’ll turn it down. Li Hua, I’m very sorry to have made so much noise. Just now, the football was very wonderful. I was too excite d to control myself. I won’t do that again. Good luck in your coming examination. ” After that, I got down to my study.

1．Once upoin a time there was a farmer who worked hard in the fields every day. One day, while he was plouthing the field, he heard a bumping sound. He saw a rabbit lyint by the trump. He picked it up and found that it was a fat rabbit. He thoutht to itself, “Since it is so easy to get a rabbit lie that, why should I work hard all day long?” He threw his hoe away and lay by the tree every day, treaming for more rabbits to come. When he finally realized his foolishness and returned to his field, he found that all his crop were dead. This story tells us that we should not wait for unexpected gains by chance and luck. Or, we should not hope to get rewards without hard work.

2．There was a farmer who worked very hard every day. One day when he was hoeing in the sunshine, he suddenly heard a low sound “Peng!”. He turned and hurried to the tree. He found a rabbit dying. He took hold of the rabbit and was excited. “What a rabbit! I’ll have it for dinner!”Then he had a good idea, “Why can’t I wait for more rabbits here? It’s cool under the tree.” So he dropped off his hoe and waited there. But day after day, there were not more rabbits coming. What was worse, all his crops were dead.
